About OVO
OVO is a collection of new works in the public domainedited by Trevor Blake. It is the continuation of a self-publishing project begun in 1979. The first issue of OVOwas created in 1987 on an electric typewriter, published byphotocopy and distributed by mail. Later editions used aCommodore 64 computer and an IBM XT computer. In2004, all prior issues of OVO were re-published in digitalform and released to the public domain on the Internet.Hundreds of thousands of pages of OVO have beendistributed online. This issue of OVO was created on apersonal computer with an AMD Duron Processor usingUbuntu Linux 4 and Open Office 2.
Publishing history for The Dreadlock Recollections
In 1992 Sondra London traveled to New Orleans withKerry Thornley to produce an interview on the televisionprogram

, continuing to interview him duringthe six years before his death in 1998. This book wasedited by Sondra London with Thornley's authorization andparticipation from a 1989 manuscript he called
TheDreadlock Recollections
. Thornley lived long enough to seethe first eight chapters published under on the Internet in1997.

was previouslypublished as

and was copyright 2000 bySondra London. In 2006, Sondra London granted OVOpermission to publish this book in the public domain.
