You may only work in groups of two (2) All projects are expected to be multimedia in format, include photos, videos, etc, stand on their own without any presentation by you, and have a works cited in MLA Format. A digital copy of your project must be given to Ms. Roy at the beginning of your exam period, or it will be considered late. On Exam day, you will be expected to bring headphones to class. During that period, you will silently evaluate the projects of your classmates, giving them peer feedback and evaluation. This is intended to occur without any distraction to those in the class who are taking the written exam.

Option One

You have been invited by the Minister of Youth Affairs to present a report outlining the views of young people on the issue of globalization, and whether or not the United States should support a policy of globalization. Your assignment is to create an interesting multimedia presentation on globalization, its impact on the United States and on the world. The presentation MUST include or answer all of the following items or questions in detail: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) What is globalization? What does globalization mean to the United States (Pro and Con)? Identify the economic benefits of globalization. What are the issues and concerns associated with Globalization? Do some countries benefit more than others? Why? (Provide examples.) What is the impact of globalization on human rights? (Discuss poverty, sweatshops, child labor etc.) Provide examples of companies that have violated human rights. How does globalization impact the environment? Environmental protection vs. economic growth How are cultures affected? Are cultures disappearing? Is globalization redefining the United States and the world beneficially? Option Two

You can take any economic topic that you wish and transform it into a video of at least six (6) minutes (that doesnt include the previews or the credits). Remember this video is supposed to be informative in nature and can be used to teach students about economics and how it pertains to high school students. This can examine Micro as a whole or overview one unit we have studied.

Option Three

You can take any economic topic that you wish (it may even be one that we havent really covered in class) and transform it into a music video of at least three (3) minutes long (that doesnt include shout outs or the credits). You can take the words to an existing song and change them or create your own from scratch. Either way, be sure that it includes at least 15-20 different economic concepts/vocabulary and that the concepts/vocabulary are all relevant. This can examine Micro as a whole or overview one unit we have studied.

Option Four

You may opt to take a written exam. This will be a past AP Microeconomics exam, consisting of multiple choice and free response questions.
