 i. Use a caliper or a ruler b. Create a small test cut of your slots and tabs before creating the larger projecti. Create

one that is the
exact
 
length
, one that is .01larger and another one that is .01 smaller ii. With acrylic the laser cutter makes the slot .01 larger then themeasurement on the computer so make the slot .01 smaller beforecutting outc. Create one square that is less then 2-1 inches long on each sided. Copy or recreate a tab that fits in the slot tightlye. Add a tab to the square
(DO NOT MERGE AS YET)
 f. Now create a slot that will hold the tabg. Place it on the square
(you do not have to subtract since it cuts outanyways)
 h. Merge the tabs with the squarei. Copy the square with the tabs and slots so you have four sides
