The continuation of the Impeachment Trial of the Hon. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Renato C. Corona is hereby called to order.We shall be led in prayer by Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.Heavenly Father, we are once again gathered this afternoon to continue the search for truthand justice. Allow us to, first of all, thank You for all the blessings You have given us overthe past few months of this trial. We are still all here, healthy, alert, involved and interested.Now that we are in the end game of this trial, we ask You to continue to bless us withthe good health needed to finish this trial, the wisdom needed to fairly decide this case, andthe courage to never give up when doing the right thing. And after this trial, may we continueto use the gifts that You have bestowed upon all of us, not for personal advantage, but onlyfor the benefit of Your people and always for Your greater glory.Lord, also please guide us as a people so that we may finally discover and determine thetruth, the kind of truth that will bring us justice, set us free and heal our land. As the Lordhas said in
2 Chronicle 7:14,
“If My people who are called by My name will humblethemselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear fromheaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.” Amen.
