AQSA SYARIF TERAJUI GLOBAL MARCH TO JERUSALEM

Baitul Maqdis akan dibanjiri puluhan ribu penunjuk perasaan menyatakan bantahan terhadap perampasan bumi Palestin oleh Zionis Israel.
Misi antarabangsa Global March to Jerusalem yang disertai puluhan NGO dari seluruh dunia - Muslim dan bukan Muslim - akan berhimpun di Baitul Maqdis dan sekitarnya pada 30 Mac 2012 untuk menyatakan kesatuan dengan rakyat Palestin dalam mempertahankan bandar suci itu. Perarakan ini akan bergerak ke Baitul Maqdis atau yang sedekat mungkin dengannya dari pelbagai arah. Ia akan menuntut pembebasan Baitul Maqdis dan penduduknya, serta menghentikan polisi apartied Israel, penghapusan kaum dan proses mengyahudikan bandar itu. Perarakan ini akan menyatukan usaha-usaha rakyat Palestin, Arab, Muslim, Kristian, Yahudi dan semua warga dunia yang sedar untuk menamatkan keangkuhan Israel terhadap undang-undang antarabangsa dengan terus menjajah Baitul Maqdis dan Palestin seluruhnya. Perarakan ini akan menukar corak konfrontrasi dalam berhadapan dengan Israel; dengan ratusan ribu penunjuk perasaan awam menuntut pembebasan Palestin dan ibunegaranya, Baitul Maqdis. Kita akan sentiasa memperbaharui tuntutan kita untuk menamatkan penjajahan Israel melalui gerakan

rakyat secara aman yang terpancar pertamanya dari keimanan, keduanya dalam menuntut keadilan dan ketiganya dari semangat kebangkitan rakyat Arab. Dunia kini mulai sedar keajaiban yang diberi Allah melalui kehendak rakyat dan memingkinkan apa yang selama ini dianggap mustahil. Slogan kehendak rakyat telah terbukti lebih berkesan dari tentera dan senjata. Di Malaysia, Aqsa Syarif telah diamanahkan oleh jawatankuasa penaja GMJ antarabangsa - International Central Committee (ICC)- untuk menerajui misi ini bersama NGO-NGO peduli Palestin yang lain. Seorang ahli Lembaga Pemegang Amanah Aqsa Syarif, Dr. Tahir Abd. Rahman telah dilantik menganggotai jawatankuasa peringkat antarabangsa ini bagi melicinkan penyelarasan kerja. GMJ a public global movement to demand the freedom of Jerusalem

The International Committee of the Global March towards Jerusalem declared at the conclusion of its conference in Beirut, the date of the Global March to Jerusalem: Friday, 30th March 2012. In a press release that was issued after the end of the conference, they declared an agreement on the program of the escalating public global movement which will end up in the crawling of hundreds of thousands of Arab and international supporters through the neighboring countries and into Israel to participate in the peaceful demonstration, that demands to free Jerusalem and to stop all the Judaization measures that the Israeli forces carry out in the city immediately. At the same time, the report confirmed that this global public movement is peaceful, and asked the neighboring Arab countries to facilitate the mission of the international supporters and the rest of the Arab nations who aim to shed light on the dangerous Zionist measures against the city and its people. The conference was attended by a lot of representatives of international committees from different parts of the world; Europe, America, Asia and Africa, in addition to the representatives of the public forces in the Arab world, the neighboring countries and Palestine. They discussed and agreed on the movement plans and the activities set to take place in different countries all over the world. They also confirmed, through the final speeches made at the conference by the delegates, the complete seriousness of starting arrangements to guarantee the success of this global march. Zaher Al-Birawi, the official spokesman and member of the executive committee of the Global March to Jerusalem, said that the meeting reflected an honest desire and great determination that the international representatives have, to make a move for the situation in Jerusalem, and put an end to the racist, Zionist procedures carried out by the Israeli forces. Birawi also confirmed that people all over the world would not stay silent anymore watching the Israeli forces actions against Jerusalem, its sacred places and its people, and that it would take actions dictated by the human conscience. He also added that the march will be the start of a public global movement to demand the freedom of Jerusalem.

Palestine Land Day a day celebrated by Palestinians on 30th March each year. The event marks the events of March, 1976, after the Israeli authorities confiscated thousands of dunums of private and public land in majority Palestinian areas, especially in the Galilee. Following these events the Arab masses inside Palestine declared a general strike, confronting the Israeli authorities for the first time since the occupation of Palestine in 1948. The Israeli response was militant and violent, as the Israeli troops, backed up by tanks, entered Palestinian villages and reoccupied them, causing a number of martyrs and many wounded and detainees among the civilians.

Aqsa Syarif terima tetamu dari Gaza

Aqsa Syarif telah menyantuni tetamu dari Islamic Society of Jabalia untuk beberapa hari. Mereka tiba untuk menyertai perasmian Palestine Film Festival anjuran Viva Palestina Malaysia pada Sabtu 4 Feb 2012. Meraka adalah : 1. Dr Muhammad Shehab, ahli Parlimen Palestin dan juga pengasas Islamic Society of Jabalia. 2. Dr. Fayeq An-Naouq, Dean of Registration and Admission, University of Gaza 3. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hirthani, Vice Chairman, Islamic Society of Jabalia. Islamic Society of Jabalia adalah salah satu rakan pelaksana projek-projek Aqsa Syarif khususnya di daerah Jabalia, Gaza dengan begitu cemerlang dan produktif. Antara projek yang dilaksanakan mereka ialah Kilang Roti Malaysian Palestinian Friendship Bakery, ladang ternakan lembu dan kolam ternakan ikan air masin.
