What is prototype?
A prototype is an early sample or model built

to test a concept or process. A prototype is designed to test and trial a new design to enhance precision by system analysts and users.

What is wireframe?
A website wireframe, also known as a page

schematic or screen blueprint, is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website. Wireframes focus on 1.The kinds of information displayed 2.The range of functions available 3.The rules for displaying certain kinds of information 4.The effect of different scenarios on the display

What is SRS?
A software requirements specification

(SRS) is a complete description of the behavior of a system to be developed. The SRS fully describes what the software will do and how it will be expected to perform. An SRS minimizes the time and effort required by developers to achieve desired goals and also minimizes the development cost. A good SRS defines how an application will interact with system hardware, other programs and human users in a wide variety of real-world situations.

What is RFP?
Request for proposal is used for Setting the

criteria for a new software development project and selecting the appropriate vendor to build and implement the plan.

What is BRD?
Business requirements are often listed in a

Business Requirements Document or BRD. The emphasis is on what is required for business? How to achieve it? Is given in SRS.

What is Use case?

A use case is a technique used in software

and software engineering to capture the functional requirements of a system. Use case defines How a user can access specific function in a application..

What is ER Diagram?
ER-modeling is a data modeling technique

used in software engineering to produce a conceptual data model of a information system. Diagrams created using this ERmodeling technique are called EntityRelationship Diagrams, or ER diagrams or ERDs. So you can say that Entity Relationship Diagrams illustrate the logical structure of databases.

What is DFD?
A data flow diagram (DFD) is a significant

modeling technique for analyzing and constructing information processes. DFD literally means an illustration that explains the course or movement of information in a process. DFD illustrates this flow of information in a process based on the inputs and outputs. A DFD can be referred to as a Process Model.

What are test cases?

A test case is a set of conditions or variables

under which a tester will determine whether an application or software system is working correctly or not. It may take many test cases to determine that a software program or system is properly running.

How many types of test plans are there?

A test plan is a document detailing a

systematic approach to testing a system such as a machine or software.
