A MOTHER IS...
A mother may or may not be of your blood, but is undeniably of your heart. A mother prepares you for the world in every way. A mother teaches you how to tie your rst pair of shoes. A mother cleans up your rst scraped knee. A mother teaches you manners, etiquette, and to be respectful. A mother is the one you cant wait to tell about your rst home run. A mother is the one you invite when nominated for your rst Oscar. A mother encourages you to always do your best. A mother puts everything into its proper perspective. A mother is the one you never lie to, because through her eyes your soul is transparent. A mother picks you up off the ground; sometimes physically, but always metaphorically. A mother catches the towel and gives it back to you when you try to throw it in. A mother nurses you back to health; even when you are 40. A mother is the person you should have listened to when you made a bad decision. A mother is the last one to leave your corner, no matter how wrong you are. A mother shows you (and the world) the real humanity of tragic events (i.e. Luisa Seau). A mother is your greatest fan, your harshest critic, and your best friend. A mother is the one who loves you the most, and the one you love the most.
