    Conclusion: DNA can be extracted by making the onion filtrate from onion treated with salt, distilled water,

    and dishwashing DNA to be more clearly seen. DNA quality confirmation can be done through gel electrophoresis. From the observation, we found that there was absence of a highly resolved high molecular weight band but presence of smeared band in lane D.
