    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 23, 2012 The following is a statement by Arnold Peter (of the Peter Law

    Group), counsel for Scot Graham, regarding the recent settlement with the Los Angeles Unified School District: Beverly Hills, California I believe the settlement speaks for itself. If, as the LAUSD and Ray Cortines claim, there was no wrongdoing, then one might ask why such a high settlement, in excess of $500,000, was approved. The evidence undisputedly established that LAUSD practices were not followed. In particular, Mr. Graham complained on at least three occasions to executives at the highest levels of the LAUSD, who not only refused to investigate the very serious allegations, but encouraged Mr. Graham to drop his complaints.
