MORTGAGE OR DEED OF TRUST
IN EXCHANGE FOR

DEFAULT INSURNACEClerk's Information System (CIS), an electronic database, also contains general information on file at the Commissionfor Virginia and foreign corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and business trusts.CIS may not include certain insurance companies that are licensed in Virginia as reciprocal insurers, such as UnitedServices Automobile Association (USAA). The names of these companies often include the word "reciprocal,""interinsurer," "interinsurance," "exchange," "underwriters," or "underwriting."A Premium Finance Company is an entity that is engaged in whole or in part in financing premiums forinsurance on subjects of insurance resident, located or performed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.A Purchasing Group is an entity that has as one of its purposes the purchasing of liability insurance on a groupbasis for its members to cover their similar or related exposures. A purchasing group is comprised of memberswhose businesses or activities have similar or related liability exposures because of common business, trade, product, services, premises or operations. A purchasing group is subject to limited regulatory authority by theVirginia Bureau of Insurance. Although they must be 'recognized' if they are doing business in Virginia, they donot actually receive an insurance license in Virginia. If you are a resident of Virginia and have purchasedcoverage through a purchasing group domiciled in another state, you may or may not have coverage underthe Virginia Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association in the event of an insolvency. If yourpurchasing group purchased coverage from an insurer licensed in Virginia, you will have coverage. However, if your purchasing group purchased coverage from an unlicensed insurer, such as a surplus lines insurer or froma risk retention group, you will not have coverage under the Virginia Property and Casualty InsuranceGuaranty Association if the unlicensed insurer or the risk retention group becomes insolvent.
