Course Objectives:
 
To identify the main goal of the multinational corporation (MNC) and conflicts with that goal;
 
To describe the key theories that justify international business;
 
To explain the common methods used to conduct international business.
 
To describe the background and corporate use of the following international financial markets:
 
To identify the commonly used techniques for hedging international exposure;
 
To analyze country risk indicators
Course Synopsis:
The major topics and concepts covered in this course module include, Introduction to InternationalFinancial Management ,International Capital Flows ,International Financial Markets, Exchange RateDetermination and Currency Derivation, Government Influence on Exchange Rate movements,International Parity and International Parity Theorems ,Forecasting Exchange rates ,ManagingExposure in International Trade, Foreign Direct Investment and Country Risk Analysis

The course will be delivered through lectures, group discussions and case presentations. Notes and hand outswill :be provided when ever its necessary.
