How I wish I could tell you to delay digging into this book now. How I wish I could point you to others that do its job, better, as well, at all. But I cant. Dig in, but for another couple of weeks, Creator Willing, youll have the additional task of keeping the following in mind, changes that are in the works for the book in 2 or three waves: 1. The entire notion of death, dying for a cause, for the joy, life, hope, sanity, humanity, future giving of it is and remains central to the book. However, as Ive known and lived for years, but briefly lost confidence in recently, is that there is a place, narrow and near impossible to find, there is a place for dying for a cause that is not a Death Fast, or Self Immolation, or the like. Teresa of Calcutta died for her Family in Calcutta for decades, with immense joy, but unmistakably dying that her charges might have the experience of being loved and valued before they passed on. Pathologically we the most powerful people on earth, we Americans, have perverted the notion of non -violence to mean, non-violence to ME, and MINE. Gandhi did the reverse, as did MLK Jr, Rachel Corrie, Bonhoeffer, Oscar Romero, who spoke of the Violence of Love that we unviolent warriors do to ourselves. No, non-violence, unviolent action is the exact opposite of what weve distorted it to mean. By the INSHE Warriors worthy of the name, throughout history, unviolent action has been exactly racing toward the emergency, the danger of others, and exactly putting and keeping ourselves, and our dearest ones, our bodies in harms way, to shield the otherwise victims , until they were saved. So, near everywhere in the book that you find Death Fast as the only way, you will soon see that slightly broadened to include especially, what I conducted two, 50 day, water only hunger strikes last year to seed waves of to deaths door but not though hunger strikes until carbon warming gas dumpers are paying their future wrecking costs, and not sending those costs on to our children. 2. The need for substantial focus on subsidies and not just on the legislation to insure full payment of $240/ton of coal and oil, and $6000 per ton of natural gas seepage, after a straight ramp to those figures beginning 2012. In recent weeks Republicans Inglis and George Schultz, Reagans Sec. of State, and others on the right, have been calling for the carbon gas dumpers to pay their costs for that, but that all subsidies, fossil fuel and renewable energy alike, should go away. The market forces being held in abeyance by the future killing free dumping of warming gasses, those pent up forces are so enormous, that I need to, and expect to re-examine both the historical size of fossil fuel US subsidies (I may have overstated them in the book by as much as a factor of 5-10), and whether subsidies need to be an aim of ours at all right now. Getting enough of the dumping and wreckage costs on the bill of the dumpers now, may well be more than sufficient. 3. 1.5 degrees C, NOT 2.0 degrees C!!!!!!!!!! What does this mean to the numbers, the tons of carbon we yet can burn, the rate of decrease in emissions required by when? 4. Pricing Methane Seepage correctly, fully, now. My quick search suggests vs the $240/ton on CO2 it is $6000 per ton on natural gas seepage, but this needs more checking and thought. 5. Rechecking, re-calibrating, and where necessary, updating in this book the crucial figures that we moms and dads of the next 200 billion children, grandchildren need to know to properly stand for our kids future. What is a reasonable estimate of the damage done by burning each ton of coal and oil is it the $240? $11,000? What is a reasonable estimate. "Loving, I just finished your first book. it was a marathon read! it must have been so to write but your voice was there through it all. I would not change a word. If there are misspelled words or repeated phrases it just speaks of the 'tortured' condition of your body and mind. So I wouldn't change a thing. May 30, 2012: Fasting is an historically valuable way to draw attention to a cause. Religious and national leaders have either fasted or called on their nations to fast and pray for healing, such as Mahatma Gandhi and President Abraham Lincoln. Women fasted for the right to vote. Start Lovings hunger strike is drawing attention to our need to shift from environmentally destructive fossil fuels, in particular the tar sands in Canada, to clean renewable energy. It doesn't seem to me they were written for me, it seems to me they were written to share the truth that those giants had come to see. There are books written about them, their ideas, they hold little or no interest for me. It's the person that I need to know, it's what they've become, that I need to know, how they think, and perceive, and understand. It's what they understand for themselves, to make their own way through life, to find how to best contribute, to find and bring optimal experience, that I want to know. This is the kind of writing I've worked to share with you here. This collection of essays was video logged largely the second, third and fourth weeks of this, the first Death Fast. It's a rendering of what I know about our reality, about we as people, as a species, about why we should act, why were not acting, why we have to act now, most importantly, about how absolutely to stop this, unless the giants, whose shoulders I firmly grasp and stand on, were flukes, didn't know what they were talking about, had nothing for us to learn. But if they do, this is the path, Death Fast, now, as described in these essays. This is the hope for humanity now, and there is none other. So this is a book that most people will want to stay away from, when they realize that it's entirely about taking personal responsibility, and stopping climate Armageddon. Now. This is such an unpopular topic no one's even written of it. Oh, they write copiously about the problem, authwhore after authwhore, but stopping it? Nah. Being the first to take responsibility to stop it? No one even discusses that. So this is on a massively unpopular topic that is the only one that I want to talk about, the only one that my life wants to respond to. Its written out of my love of every one born, and who will be born in the future, for the next 2000 generations or more. But it's written for the one in 1, 2, 10, 20 in a million that refuses to sit and watch this Armageddon happen, that refuses to be irrelevant, that refuses to accept the status quo. The unreasonable people, remembering the title of Diane Wilson's book, "An unreasonable woman," a phrase from Bernard Shaw. At the same time, it's written for everyone, because that unreasonable woman, that unreasonable man, is within all of us. So said Jesus. So said King, so such Gandhi. They each in their own way said of themselves , there's nothing unusual about me. What was unusual about them was in a culture, as we've had for thousands of years, obsessed with pleasing the part of our nervous system that's the head and the flesh, as has been our culture varying degrees; in such a culture they said no, there's another part of me, and that, that will be in charge. Einstein described it is the 80% of our nervous system we didn't use, our hearts, the highest form of human intelligence, the highest form of human wisdom, the highest form of human courage. What was unique about them was they said no, my head and flesh are not going to rule, my heart's going to rule. That's who I am. That's the essence of who I am. That's the essence of what it is to be human. That's what I'm going to be. That's where joy is, otherwise called Heaven, in this life; that's where personal salvation is from all the pitiful intoxications of the head and the flesh, truly pitiful relative to the heart's joy of helping. And that's where the salvation of humanity is, saving them from the cruelties, beastliness, meanness, the selfishness of the head and the flesh in charge. That's what was unique about the giants. Not that they lacked the circuits of head and flesh, because they claimed we all did, but because they refused to let any other circuits besides the Heart, reign, as likewise I do now. So this book is for the one in 1 million. And it's for all of you if and when you decide as I did about 13 years ago - I've had it with the head and the flesh in charge, I've had it, I've had it. I've had it for me, I've

had it for whoever I influence, I'm not going to lead them into that Hell, that Pleasure Island of the silly, important, little book, Pinocchio; that's what it is. No. No. No. I'm a creature of love, I'm a creature of caring, I'm a creature of service, I'm a creature of compassion. That's who I am, that's what I am. That's what I want to be for the joy of it, for the greed of it, and that's where I want to lead everyone else to. So this book isn't written to be easy, or hard. It isn't written to be kind, or harsh. It is harsh, because the truths of our Affloholics are harsh, the truths of the reality that currently reigns that will destroy the future, is destroying the future of every child today and the next 200 billion people, soon unstoppable, is beyond any conception of harsh. This book is the tough love of a Sgt. Foley, in "An Officer and Gentleman," it's the tough love of Alice Paul in the must-see Iron Jawed Angels. Last night two new dear friends came by it is bringing supplies, pick up my laptop to recharge, and out of love they implored me to reconsider what I was doing. 'We need you here longer Loving, you have so much more to offer, to share, to teach. Please think about it." Well, I respect my friends, so I have thought about it. And I checked in with the jury, the judges, that I hold myself in front of - Alice Paul of the women suffragists, King, Gandhi, Jesus, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, my dad, the Creator, as best I can imagine them. (Laughter.) And their answer was you're on the path man. What, are you a stupid? We've given you the banquet, the feast, we've given you the bounty. Martyrdom? Oh God, who cares about that? Did Alice Paul? Did Gandhi? Did Jesus want martyrdom? They wanted a life for their children and their grandchildren, all grandchildren, forever. I pity the man, Loving, before he came to this wisdom. I detest the decades that I mistakenly let my head and flesh be in charge. I'm on the same quest that Jesus was. He died to save us from that. He died to save us from that living Death. Was he really a fool? We live as though he was. He wasn't. We're the fools. We're the fools. I'm no longer such a fool. And if for those that too, the one in 1 million, that are no longer fools, if they can come across this work, this book, this Death Fast... they're going to see the path. The only path to saving humanity - Till enough are seeing dying for it, Global warming won't stop. When enough are seeing dying for it, global warming will stop. They will have the same euphoria, the same ecstasy that I did when I saw what thought I'd never see - how to stop this; not maybe how to stop this, but with certainty how to stop this. There is some number of us dying in front of the Canadian Embassy, on the pure, unassailable moral premise we're here to collect what is rightfully ours, a future for our children, through the unhiding the wreckage costs of today's burning of coal, oil, tar sands, natural gas, corn ethanol, deforestation, and secondly, the redirection of the Earth killing subsidies to Earth, future saving subsidies. That's all we're here to claim, and if the price is our lives, one of them, 10 of them, 1000 of them, 10,000 of them, we'll continue to come here and die, until we have what is rightfully ours, and our children's; until enough hearts in this country wake up and realize a barely habitable earth isn't what we want for our children. We don't want to hand them a dead, raped, plundered planet in ever more violent death throws. This is not what we want to do! 'Day 28 Global Warming Death. Fast.

You want to know how many nanoseconds is the answer that I'm on the wrong track? Zero. You want to know how many nanoseconds I've been other than ecstatic to have found this path? Zero. Remember the movie "Contact," Jodi Foster, Dr. Arroway, the astronomer that feels an inexpressible yearning to find life in space? How many seconds for her were there that she didn't yearn to be the one in that capsule, probably never to see Earth, again, but possibly delivering, information, saving insights, back to Earth? There wasn't a nanosecond that she wanted anything else, anything less. Zero. Was she a zealot? Some folks would think so, not me. She was clear of vision. Her priorities were straight. Like me, she was no longer a creature, a prisoner, a slave of the Head and the Flesh, those lower parts of our nervous system. Rather she was a creature of vision, intuition, compassion, conscience, humanity, our higher angels, no longer a prisoner of the head and the flesh. This is my 128 day without food and water in the 14 months. All thanks to the creator, my body is remaining sufficiently strong, and my psyche and brain are functioning at very high levels. There's indication that that will degrade rapidly soon. So that the two books I'm working on can be completed, I now as of last week since the hospitalization, am taking 0 cal electrolytes, and sodium because I think I was not retaining the fluid I was drinking, my blood pressure was so low. When the books are finished, I'll go back into free fall. This is a race of numbers , and time - when 1000 are seen dying for it, global warming will stop. It will not stop before that. It's very important that without forcing it, I become the first of those, so only 999 will then be needed to stand up. The first week of this was the toughest that I've had on the many long hunger strikes I've been on. My blood chemistry was never right after the last strike, and my organs have been to a degree damaged by prior hunger strikes. Extreme weakness, extreme dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea. It's possible that the dehydration for which I was hospitalized had set in earlier than I thought, but this seems unlikely. But after that first week, I was much weaker than usual on strikes, but other than that, I'm functioning at a very high level. This Death Fast was started with much less excess body weight than prior strikes - 20, 30 pounds excess I would guess this time, which should be food enough for 30, 40 days. I have no idea how much longer I've got, a week at least, three weeks, maybe. It's unclear exactly how I will pass on, and where my death will occur. It's my strong desire that it be here, in front of the Canadian embassy; that would have the strongest impact. The Secret Service, who loves me, maybe as much as I love them, has made it clear that it's not in their DNA to let me die. I'm hoping friends will help me strengthen the paperwork I have, the Living Will DNR, including an injunction to prevent my resuscitation. Whether or not that happens, the other options are - if someone cared enough about humanity, to give me a place to die, as that time nears; and the other alternative, I'll wander off into the woods, cease taking liquids to accelerate the demise, being the coward that I am., ha. And the third option which is seeming somewhat likely, because I am the trailblazer here, the tip of the spear, I may test the paperwork that I have, and I may test the system. When I was hospitalized recently and they learned what I was doing, they tried very hard to convince themselves that I needed to be in the Psych wing. They were unable to do it that time. That I may be as a forerunner here, that I'll remain on the sidewalk, hoping that they let me expire. But if they resuscitate me, then I will be a probe for us to find out what the system does. Do they put me in St. E's mental hospital, do they put me and keep me in the psych wing, what do they do. Do they let me come out, and return here to the Embassy? There is no time to be cute, but I do try to make every second count and I use some devices to try and make remember-able the things that I share for those who want to. Theyve kept me totally off stage and I wanted to think of the one or two or three things that I needed to share with you that could make all the difference and there are three which I'll try to emphasize but they're three of 15 to provide a broader context, and I'll try to share those with you as well. This discussion with you, maybe it is the reason that I left a half-million dollar house 13 years ago, that I left a $300,000 a year job as a turnaround expert in the high tech industry, devoting my life to saving people's jobs rather than seeing their companies get flushed. By 14 years ago I foresaw the Titanic going down, I saw America going down, I foresaw the economy going down and I needed to do what I could to get out front of it and see what I could do to help. It may have been all about this presentation to you, or this may just be 20 min. you can enjoy ridiculing me. 15 fuel rods to power your resurrection. #1 - You're dead, and if you're not puking scared, you don't get it. You don't understand what the 2000 leading economists on the planet understand, you dont understand what the 3500 degreed climate scientists understand. There's nothing clever I'm going to share with you, except maybe for integration of the data, and the unwillingness to turn away from how terrifying it is. That's fuel rod #1 Youre dead. Oh, I can't leave school now the fight this. I need to think about my future. You don't have a future. Your future best case is Hunger Games , and for your children, it's worse. That's the truth, that's the fact. Unless you change the direction now, and you have just months, you'll be the first of the next 2000 generations that unlike every generation prior that enjoyed mother Earth. You'll spend every day just fighting just to survive. That's your reality. That's the economics. That's the environmentals of it. That's the truth of it. You all the finances, being spent now, it's being mis-spent. You have all the technology. You have eight to 200 times more energy than you need. You have all the social science. You have all the problem analysis. You have all the examples of how citizens stood up in history to change things. #5 - That will ignite the most powerful force on earth, that is responsible for every major social advance in history, and that's the ignition of the human heart. The human heart only ignites when the body is baring the near unbearable horror of present circumstances. Alice Paul and her sisters bearing the near unbearable horror of generations as far as the eye could see of women subjugated to men. The unbearable horror of the Egyptians looking at 30 more years under brutal dictators like Mubarak, and on and on and on and on. When the human body bears that pain, doesn't turn away from it, doesn't get distracted from it, doesn't deny it, the reaction happens, the heart comes online, the heart comes in charge. The heart is the highest form of human intelligence, that's the 80% of the nervous system that Einstein said we don't use. It's the seat of intuition, inspiration, courage, vision. Think about it. Think about the civil rights workers, think about the women suffragists, think about the Egyptian revolutionaries. That's what happened. They turned toward the pain, they embraced it, they stopped looking away, they refused to look away, and that ignited the heart, and all the rest happened. So that's 5. #6-9 - The four things you need to understand about your threat, and they're magnificently laid out in a book called Plan B 3.0. One of my blogs is Tracking Plan B. You're crazy if you don't, if you don't search Tracking Plan B. There are the equivalent of four meteors, each Earth killing, each future killing meteors headed toward Earth. If you let anyone touchdown it's over for you and your kids, grandchildren, for the next 2000 generations. #6 - The first, and I wish the only, but the first and most immediate is the carbon meteor, the warming gas meteor, the CO2 fuel, coal, oil, tar sands, natural gas, corn ethanol meteor, the warming gasses meteor. You have eight years to reduce use of global warming fuel 80%, by 2020,. Maybe a little bit more time than that ,James Hansen, whose earned my total trust, now indicates that if we bend the curve down 50% in the next eight years by 2020 it will buy you enough time. I'm going to stay with the 80% for now. #7 - The second meteor is Earth rape, and the consequent imperative of putting her in intensive care. Her lungs are ripped out, and what lungs remains, the forests, are being burned. Her oceans are on death bed, her topsoil is being blown into the ocean's, by billions of tons a year. And then two other meteors, which are handmaidens each other #8, 9 - poverty and overpopulation. #8 - Poverty is caused by #9 - Over population, in large part. You're headed toward 10 billion people on the planet by 2050 and if you're all going to live at the standard of living of India just barely you can do it. If you live the standard of Americans, Earth only sports 2 billion. You need to solve poverty because that will stabilize population at about 8 billion. You can sustain that. So that's 9. #10, 11, and 12 are your three strategic objectives. Here's the second thing, if you only remember three things. This is the second thing from what I'm going to tell you. Every time a gallon of gas is purchased, 20% of the bill is paid and 80% of the bill sent to you. Every hundred billion dollars we spend on war costs today from Middle East oil is put on the bill, and guesses whos going to pay the debt? We're sending the bill to you and your children and grandchildren in the future. For every ton of coal that's burnt, by you and your parents, and your friends, and neighbors, pay 20% of the cost, and they send 80% of the bill, which are health costs that go on the debt, and more importantly wreckage costs, are sent to you in the future. If you guys wake up and find some moral outrage and the moral fortitude and the moral clarity this isn't right, mom, dad, no, no you are not going to balance the books on my back, and the backs of my children; mom, dad I love you. It's not going to happen. Boss, I love you, college president, I love you, this isn't gonna happen. Sen., Congressman, I love you, it's not going to happen. Mr. Exxon CEO you're my brother, this isn't going to happen. It's going to stop now. If you're going to burn coal now, you pay all the off-the-books costs for it all now. The actuaries know how, know how to calculate it now. FEE AND 100% DIVIDEND TO THE TAXPAYERS - When you, when you bring it, coal, out of the ground, a ton of coal out of the ground, you can pay all the wreckage costs, all the health costs, now. You're not going to send it to in the future. Think about it friends. If you take that 5|Page

stand, who can stop you from taking that stance if you find that moral certitude? It's a no-brainer, like the Freedom Riders found. It's a moral outrage that you will not be able to be turned from and who can sustain the moral abomination of standing against you? Who can say, 'oh no, no, we should be able to balance the economy on your backs, our childrens backs, the backs of the next 2000 generations, for our mindless, needless excesses, today.' This is your holy Grail. You are not can you send me in my children bill in the future, you're going to pay it now. By the way, the 2000 of the world's leading economists all agree with that. #11 and #12 are also financial. #11 - You need to redirect subsidies from raping Earth to restoring her. We subsidize our fisherman. God bless them. We subsidize our coal industry. God damn them, not the miners. We subsidize the oil industry. No, we need to subsidize the non-Earth rape energy forms wind and sun. We need to subsidize forest restoration, we need to subsidize fishery restoration, ocean restoration, redirect those funds. #12 - And finally we need to stop having a government contractor security policy. Our national security is supposed to be the focus, not the security of the war contractors. They are poised for 20th-century wars against Russia - the bombs, the tanks, the aircraft carriers, etc. No, the Pentagon knows and has stated th rd perfectly well - failing states is the 21st-century threat. You need to redirect roughly 1/6 to 1/3 of the war budget toward what the Pentagon says are 21st-century threats - failing states. Now we're back to the #8 and #9. - property meteor, and the population meteor, paid for by the 1/6th to 1/3rd of the war budget re-allocated to preventing failing states. #13, 14 and 15 #13 - There's a fatal trap out there, and if you step in it, or if you don't unviolently stop others from stepping into it, you done, it's over, the clock will be run out and then it's over. And that's violence, that's violating the rights of others, that's violating the property of others. You don't need to go there. You totally are infants if you go there. Youre two-year-olds tantrums if you go there. You're outgunned a million to 1, a million more resources against whatever paltry little stones you throw. And you lose the moral high ground, you lose the moral strength which is your biggest weapon, uh, your only weapon. Not only don't step in the trap, but put your bodies in the way of those who do. It'll increase your credibility instantly. Don't step in the violence trap. Be at total Unviolent war. Unviolent war. #14 - Understand who the most powerful group in the world is. Who is it? It's our kids in this country 13 years old to 23 years old. You can think for yourselves. You can reason, you can figure things out. You can find a moral center. You can find what's right and wrong, and the people who control the disproportionate resources in the world are your parents, your elders, their friends and people they can influence. Think on a personal basis - whatever your relationship is with you with your parents, or whatever the relationship is 13 to 23-year-olds with their parents - mom, dad, imaging this phone call - I just got in a terrible accident. I'm a 10 hour drive away. I'm in the hospital. I don't think they're taking very good care of me, and I might be dying. What just happened? Everything your caregivers are and have has just put at your disposal. They're in the car, or on the plane to you, now. They're calling lawyers, they are checking their bank accounts. They're doing what they have to. Well, there are millions of you in that age group. And if you wake up, and see what's being done to you, and as loving citizens, like the Freedom Riders, you unviolently stand and say - no, no, I'm not participating in normal life anymore. That might mean - I don't eat, it might mean I go on hunger strike, it might mean I don't go to school, it might mean that I sit in on the college campuses until I get what I want, it might mean that I go and in a disciplined, self-sacrificial way occupy the offices on Capitol Hill, but I'm gonna stand in the way of this, unviolently, but I have the right, And I'm going to take that right. You are not going to send me the bill - 80% of the bill for your coal and oil. Not anymore. It stops today. #15 - And the final thing is - you need to understand who does not have the power. The president doesn't have the power. The president has never had the power to bring about massive social change or massive change of any of any sort. Look at his political maneuvering, look at the social programs he brought in.' All he did was open a festering sore. The president can't settle social issues. He forced something, that is the subject of the ongoing war between the left and the right today. President Obama may be the best friend you'll ever have, but he can't do your job for you. I've been an unviolent, all-out warrior, first in industry, and now for humanity, my entire adult life. It has been spent in high stakes, high risk, failure is not an option situations; there are few things that I know, but I know those situations. I don't play in situations where I can't win. I play in situations where everyone else says we can't win. For four years now my entire being has been gripped by the horror of impending climate Armageddon. I've been moving in the direction of understanding how to stop it but at the same time knowing that I didn't know how to stop it. And at the same time not having really a prayer of seeing how to stop it but three weeks ago, that prayer was answered before my eyes. It happened, among other things, after watching the movie 'Tipping Point' - if you google Tracking Plan B that will take you to one of my two major sites and you'll see a link to that video on youtube - Tracking Plan B, Tipping Point - its an hour and a half; its a must see. Even though I've been studying nothing but, seven days a week, the impending climate Armageddon, that movie showed me something that I hadn't seen, the rank insanity, the clear clinical insanity that, in Canada's case, $2 trillion in expected revenue, generates among otherwise presumably sane, humane people - Aggressively killing their Indigenous peoples, so they don't get in the way ( their indigenous people), so they don't get in the way of the tar sands. And after seeing that movie, some days later, everything else that had been working in my nervous system and heart produced the answer i had been looking for. There are two other movies that I saw prior to this epiphany as well, and had I not seen them, the epiphany might not have happened. Freedom Riders, both the PBS documentary and the hour special that Oprah Winfrey did , both are must see and Iron Jawed Angels on the womens suffrage movement. If you google Tracking Plan B or google Start Loving both my blogs come up. Look for the library tab and you'll find all of these there. After seeing those four, they brought together everything else that I've learned in my life, and about climate Armageddon, and the epiphany was this: 1. Till enough people are seen dying for it, global warming will not stop. 2. There is a corollary to that: when enough people are seen dying for it, global warming will stop. This was euphoria for me! This was ecstatic for me, winning the mega lottery. "Now I know what to do!" "Now I know what to do." The race is on. My life is going to be one of the 1000 we need. Just like someone would joyfully dive on a grenade to save his buddies. Just like the woman in New York earlier this year joyfully placed her body, shielding a young girl I think she didn't know when she heard gunfire on the street and her life was forfeit. Just like one of our heroic soldiers in Afghanistan saw a child in the way of a vehicle and traded his life for that childs, by pushing her out of the way. OF COURSE! I just wanted to see how to stop the deliverance of hell to hundreds of billions of people. And now I see it. And if there are a thousand people in this country, in the US, who value humanity more 8|Page

than their own life, they will race to join this Death Fast, which is on day 17 here in front of the Canadian embassy, which is the scene in back of me here. Till enough are seen dying for it, co2 won't stop. 2 trillion dollars in revenue expected by the Canadian government generates a whole lot of crazy. A rough estimate of $20-80to $80 trillion dollars that the fossil fuel industry, and secondarily the corn ethanol industry, is expecting in revenues, $40 trillion. What do you think is gonna make these people stop? Kumbaya? E-mail campaigns? And I posed the wrong question. What do you think is gonna make them stop in time - NOW? And unless Jim Hansen , Lester Brown, Joe Romm are smoking something or lying to us, six years ago was too late. This year is our last chance. We need to reduce carbon six percent per year starting this year or it becomes cost prohibitive to go to 7, 8 9 10 11 12 percent reduction per year, which would be needed six years from now. We need to start this year and we absolutely can. When there are a thousand people in front of the Canadian embassy using that as a backdrop to end global warming, IT WILL STOP. It will shock the conscience of the nation. It will shock the conscience of the world. It may or may not shock the conscience of Harper, Canadas premier, out of his insanity, but it will shock enough onlookers that it will stop, cuz what we are doing is clinically insane - handing every young person today and everyone in the future a life on hell, and this is rank insanity! No one wants to do that to their children. No one wants to balance the economy on their children s back. But we are so addicted to stuff, we are so in clinical insanity, clinical addiction to stuff, and the denial that goes with it that. Until enough people are seen dying for it nothing else is going to cut through that insanity, but 1000 people on Death Fast will - when enough are seen dying for it global warming will stop. And 2012 is the year. We're not going to get another chance at this . If we let the tundra melt its game over, the thermal equivalent of rough estimate 30 million Hiroshima class nuclear bombs going off in the atmosphere every day, to extrapolate on Jim Hansens work. This is the year. This is the tool. If you most of us are cowards, most of us will hide behind our proven impotent activism, email campaigns, occasional marchers, lobbying, are not going to pry people away from an expected $20-80 trillion dollars in revenue. When enough people are seen dying for it, that will cut through the insanity. Nothing else will. So if you want to kill time, do something else, anything and everything else. If you want to save humanity join the Death Fast. Now, and maybe few of us will have to die.

Wouldn't you happily die to stop little green men from indenturing your children and their grandchildren, to trying to survive this century's six-foot, next century's 40 foot sea level rise, enslaving them to spend their whole life working simply to try and fortify the cities against going underwater, or to enduring mass migrations away from flooded land to the ever shrinking arable land. Wouldn't you happily die to stop that? Well, that's what your lower Angels are doing to your kids, through apathy and complicity, by simply not finding, yet, that you love humanity, you love your children's future more than you love your own life, and taking this weapon, that's now been presented to us, the Death Fast, and coming to DC, and joining the Death Fast? And when 1000 of us do, if we do it fast enough, most of us won't be allowed to die, but if we die so what, it happens. We're not here to survive friends, we're here to serve, as is every organ in your body that's healthy, and every cell in your body that's healthy does, 24/7. I needed to develop my imagination to be able to grasp, in terms that could mobilize my being commensurate with the horror, and to do so it turns out I needed to invent -what if Ahmadinejad were doing this, what if little green men were doing this, and I began to mobilize. Nothing else matters except for stopping that, and therefore nothing else in the world, nothing else in your personal life, nothing else in your children's life, nothing else in your spouses' life, nothing else in your life if you're a child matters besides getting here on Death Fast, and stopping this. It's a lesson in humanity like few I've ever seen. It's the form of unviolent warfare that the first, but more so the second wave of Freedom Riders, college students going to their final exams embraced, in Nashville, who learned that the first wave of the freedom ride busses had been interrupted. Even one of Kennedys senior officials who was in Mississippi, I believe it was Mississippi, had been clubbed, was struggling to get the first wave of Freedom Riders out alive; no pilot would fly them out from the airport. The Nashville students learned that the ride was being interrupted. Instead of going to their college exams, many of them were first generation college students, they then that night signed their last wills, many of them expecting to be killed, and got on buses to claim what was rightfully theirs; a seat at a bus terminal with the label 'Whites Only' above it. The claim of this Death Fast is morally unassailable. This Death Fast does not claim the end of burning fossil fuels, it does not claim that anyones lifestyle change, it does not claim the tar sands not be exploited, it does not claim that no more coal is burned, it does not claim that no more oil is burned. It makes two claims and two claims only: 1. Exploit your tar sands, the dirtiest energy on the planet, mine your coal, burn your coal-fired electricity, drive your SUVs on oil or tar sands, but I'm not paying the wreckage fee and my children and grandchildren are not paying your wreckage fee. Demand 1. You will pay your wreckage fee, now, not my kids 20 years from now. There was no clear moral claim to tell people not to smoke. There is a moral claim to ask people not to smoke, to implore people not to kill themselves with smoking, but theres no clear moral claim to tell people not to smoke. But there is a clear moral claim to say "I and my children and grandchildren are not paying your healthcare costs. You will pay your healthcare costs. And there's now 2, 3, $3.50 dollars a pack added to every pack of cigarettes to pay that healthcare cost. You may burn what fossil fuels you want, you may use corn ethanol. You may de-forest. But I and

my children are not paying your wreckage cost, which is four times more than what you're currently paying. A fee of $20-80per ton, incrementing by $20-80the next 10 years, at the mine, at the well, at the tar sands, at the ethanol plant, the corn ethanol plant, at the forest being burned, and at the import depot will be collected from the exploiter, from the miner, from the driller, from the country of origin, if they lack a similar policy. They, in turn will mark that up and pass it on in the price of their product, to the consumer, raising toward true cost the warming gas emitting fuels. So the consumer will pay the fee, and not one nickel of the fee will go to the government, not one nickel of that fee will be decided upon by an all-too-corrupt government, currently destroyed by the lunatics on the right, and the apathetic citizens on the left. For the first time in my life, the Democrats in congress are doing a decent job, but, it's destroyed by the lunatics on the right, my brothers and sisters all. Not one penny will go to them. The wreckage fee that's collected from the deadly fuel suppliers (that they in turn collect from their consumers) will be 100% distributed to every legal resident of this country quarterly,100%. $20/ton added per year, that's $200/ton by year 10. The equivalent of a two-dollar increase per gallon of gas by year ten. I am here to collect what is rightfully mine the wreckage costs of your burning of coal and oil so that if I want I can put it toward protecting and restoring our children's future and enabling them to pay for your wreckage costs of our cities, of our weather, of our health, our wars, in the future. Your house is solar, youre getting wind electricity, you're driving a plug-in hybrid, but your children should pay my wreckage costs from my coal and oil use! Who can make that argument and stand? No one. It's perfectly morally unassailable. 2. And the other part of the demand is - We are not going to pay anymore to destroy our children's future. We are not going to pay 70 billion dollars a year to the coal and gas industry to wreck our children's environment. That money is going to be allocated to a. Earth-creating, Earth-sustaining programs, the first of which are to transition our heroic fossil fuel workers, coal miners, oil drillers, rig workers, to transition to the green economy, treating them the way our returning soldiers should be treated, and b. Secondarily to any companies or industries that cannot reasonably make the transition fast enough and otherwise become uncompetitive in the international marketplace. By the way, the twenty dollars per ton is collected on all import goods as well, if from countrys not already collecting it. c. Totally morally unassailable. The lunatics can try to argue against it. Oh boy, they can't win the argument, if with our lives, literally, we get it on the table.. They can't win it - "Oh no! A06: Death Fast Demands 1: Unhide the 80% hidden cost of warming fuels over 10 years.

They're both a form of the statement - we are here to collect what is rightfully ours, a future for our children. 1. We will no longer send 80% of our wreckage costs from using global warming fuels on to our children, and 2. We will no longer fund personally or as a government, subsidize the destruction of our children's future. The first of the demands will be discussed here, but the second demand will be briefly outlined here, and discussed in two other video log, essays. The second one is - we will no longer subsidize the destruction of our children's future. All Earth killing subsidies from subsidizing the extermination of the oceans through overfishing, or more significantly, the $70 billion, not $4 billion, not $40 billion, the $70 billion that American taxpayers subsidize the coal and oil companies to destroy our children's future, that stops, now, and gets reallocated to restoring our kids future. There are seven parts to that - the first two priorities are to make our heroic, worthy, first-line fossil fuel workers, maybe second line as well, in coal, oil, corn ethanol, pipelines... to make them whole, to treat them as a returning vet should be treated, in helping them transition to equivalent green economy jobs. The second of the top two priorities for the reallocated subsidies is, in the extremely unlikely event that transitioning over to wind and sun, which are already at or near grid parity with coal and oil, is not possible for an industry, the second of the top two priorities for the subsidies, is to keep the international competitiveness of such companies. The other five second-tier priorities will be discussed in another video log, essay. So the first demand is - we are here to collect what is rightfully ours, a future for our children. Those who wish to burn tar sands, those who wish to burn oil, those who wish to burn coal, those who wish to deforest, those who wish to burn corn ethanol, there is not a clear moral right to tell them they can't, any more than there is a clear moral right to tell someone they can't smoke. What is a clear moral right is to say - you're going to pay your own wreckage costs. My children are not, our children are not going to pay your wreckage costs, any more. So instead of driving a plug-in hybrid, if you want to drive a gasoline car that's fine. But the $16 a gallon, the wreckage costs that are currently being set on my children invisibly, in the form of, for example, their paying for fortifying our cities against sea-level rise, no, no, my children aren't going to pay - you're going to pay what you cause of that. And the way you do that, as proposed by Republican and Democratic economists and well explained by Jim Hansen, is called Fee and Dividend. We're now going to unhide the wreckage costs, so a fee to cover those wreckage costs, to begin to cover them, will be implemented over ten years at $20-80ton starting in 2012. So, at the mine, at the well-head, at the import port with goods from countries that don't have a parallel policy, $20-80a ton for tar sands, coal, oil, corn ethanol, deforestation, an adjusted formula for natural gas, methane, because it's 25 times more warming, will be implemented immediately. By year 10 that will be $200 per ton. It's estimated by leading economists, again well-articulated by Jim Hansen (four pages in his Storms of My Grandchildren, in google books free - search there on 'fee and dividend.') of NASA. that will immediately begin to bend down the global warming emissions by 6% a year. That's a 50% reduction by 2020. That's on the timid side. The prevailing wisdom is that we need to reduce warming emissions by 80% by 2020. Hansen has earned my trust, and deserves yours. Having said that, he wants $10 a ton added per 15 | P a g e

year. Our demand, we Death Fasters, is $20, to take out insurance that the reduction happens fast enough. We don't get a do over on this folks. Now that fee which as I recall, Hansen and the economists working with him, have estimated would by year 10, figure quantitatively as two things 1. One, on oil for example, it would add an additional $2per gallon gasoline, economy crushing, until you realize that by then, smart people will have migrated to plug-in hybrids, driving on the energy equivalent of one dollar a gallon gas, not the $16 to $20-80gas price will be moving toward. And 2. Two, is a pool of, as i recall, about $600 billion a year in these wreckage costs collected. That is not to be distributed to the government, and by the government. Congress has, despite noble efforts by the Democrats in congress these recent years, congress has proved itself unable to responsibly deal with such funds. It is not to be dealt with by Wall Street in the form of cap and trade. It is to be distributed in a 100% dividend to every legal us citizen on a quarterly basis. And again, if i recall correctly, it's an estimated $2000-$4000 by year 10, per year, to each legal resident, and then staying at that rate going forward per year. It is for individuals to do with what they want. Now where did that fee come from? It came from the fee being put on coal, oil, tar sands, corn ethanol, natural gas being collected. Now, who's going to pay that fee? Certainly not coal companies, they are not philanthropies. They will pass that cost on to their consumers, people that heat their house with coal, light their house with electricity with coal, rather than using wind power, which is already roughly at grid parity with even the costs-off-the-books price of coal. They're the ones who pay the fee. What does that do to the price of coal and oil? Immediately that this is announced, it is an announcement that coal and oil that falsely looks so cheap with its costs off the books, it looks instantly like the same level as wind and sun, but that fossil fuels are soon going to be showing their true cost $16-$20-80a gallon for gas, $.35 a kilowatt hour as opposed to $.07 a kilowatt hour for costs-off-the-books coal-fired electricity, or natural gas for that matter. This Death Fast demand is entirely, morally perfect, entirely morally defensible. It will have the effect of immediately and dramatically reducing, obsoleting the value of new coal exploration, new oil exploration, new money invested in the tar sands because the costs, the price of that product, as announced, will go up. But it will only happen over a ten-year period in time, which is plenty slow enough, as shown by efforts in California these last 30 years. That's plenty slow enough for the economy to transition over. So that's demand number one. It achieves many things, but it does not demand that you stop the tar sands, it does not demand you stop mining and selling coal, it does not demand that you move out of your McMansion, that you put solar panels on your roof, none of which are morally clear demands. They're moral demands, but they are not morally, nor legally, clear. It says, as with cigarettes where I don't want to smoke, I hope you don't smoke, I care about you, but if you do, I'm not paying your healthcare costs. It simply says if you want to use fuels that are destroying our children's future, I don't have a clear moral right to tell you not to. I do have a clearer moral right to say - you are going to pay the wreckage fees, and those wreckage fees that are collected are going to be distributed to all of us. Many will use that money, at our own choice, to move toward the renewable energy, and away from the ever more revealed, murderous true costs of earth killing, future killing fuels. And many will soon, quickly and rapidly move away from fossil fuels as they see what the real costs of these murderous fuels is to them, and to their progeny.

A07: 'Death Fast Demands 2A - Worker transition, Int'l competitiveness, + 5.

And specifically, our children will no longer pay for your wreckage costs from using fossil fuels, you will, just like we no longer pay the health costs of cigarette users. The cigarette users do by having those costs added to the cost of cigarettes. The second demand is that we will continue to use subsidies in our country but we will no longer use the subsidies to destroy our children's future. We will no longer pay $70 million yearly to coal and gas companies, not $4 billion, not $40, not $70 billion yearly to coal and gas companies in subsidies, tax reductions, tax waivers, etc. But we will use subsidies subsidy dollars, they will not go away. We will no longer pay to wreck our environment with factory farms, with agribusiness, we will no longer pay to wreck our children's oceans by funding fishing, which means today, overfishing the oceans. Those workers too, by the way, fishermen, would be helped as a first priority in subsidy reallocation. So the second demand is sevenfold, two top priorities, and seven second-tier priorities. The two top tier priorities are worker transition, and international competitiveness. #1. Our workers, first and second line, in the affected industries - pipelines, coal, oil, corn ethanol, deforestation, natural gas, methane, are to be treated as our returning vets from Afghanistan are to be treated. They've done their job for the country. They fought for our economy, difficult jobs that keep them away from their families, keep them at great risk. They are to be given the opportunity to remain reasonably whole. Retraining is one issue, one Avenue to be applied. This is not about coddling; this is not about social welfare, this is about justice, fairness, decency, supporting those that did the work of the country as it was best understood. Yes, we haven't done justice in many decades. This is a time to restart. #2. The second of the top two priorities which is unlikely to come into play, although there are likely to be a whole lot of politics over it, that is our international competitiveness. So, those countries that don't follow suit, and the best estimates are that most countries quickly will follow suit, but those that don't conceivably have a cost structure that does not involve the transition costs, does not involve the costs of new technologies, so it could be that those products were competing at an unfair advantage versus any of our companies that couldn't, as is contrary to the norm in California, but if there are any that simply cannot structurally, because of the nature of their technology, the nature of their processes, transition seamlessly over to wind and sun, then the second of the top two priorities of the re-subsidy allocation, is to keep them whole versus their international competitors. There is then a second tier of priorities. Bear in mind that the subsidies get phased over a ten-year period of time, 10% a year. So that's 100% by year 10. Not much money available in the first couple of years, nor that much money needed. There will be not much worker displacement for example, in the first couple of years. However, there are a number of things that are crucial to transitioning competitively and sanely to an energy source where our children have a future, and where we reestablish ourselves as the energy leaders in the 21st century. There are several accelerants that are crucial, and the longest leadtime with them tends to be the regulatory, legal actions. #3. The first of the 2 tier is securing the right-of-way for the low loss grid, which must be put across the country, particularly, for example from our Midwest farms which are yearning for more wind on them because it doubles or more their revenue per acre, and for our Southwest deserts with concentrated solar, to distribute that energy to where the population centers are, typically on the coasts. Fort the low loss smart grid, the longest lead-time is the regulation getting the right-of-way for it, for monies associated 17 | P a g e

with it for subsidizing the implementation. But getting the right way is the long lead time so that is the first of this second-tier priority. #4. Second of the 2 tier is what's called feed in tariff, it's a huge accelerant to the migration to a sane, future giving energy policy, as opposed to the future destroying one. Feed in tariff in California, for example, among our very most progressive renewable energy states, if I put solar panels on my roof, and I'm not home during the day and I choose to have my temperature at homefairly high during the day, I'm not running my air-conditioning much as I'm not home, but my solar panels are at peak energy generation midday, what do I do with that energy? In California, your utility has to buy it from you. So, obvious source of revenue, obvious encouragement among other things if you choose to use the feed in tariff that way, to put solar panels on your roof, or micro wind on your property. But in most of the states, the utilities by way of obstruction, they are not philanthropies after all, have locked in the regulation and forbidden feed in tariffs. This is a profound democracy issue, whether, unless we are into corporate welfare, this is a democratization of energy, you start to become for your own sanity and well-being, you start to become an energy provider and vendor. Understandably the utilities want to block this, but it's time to say no. So, the second priority is the regulatory, legislative and legal work to one by one knock down those barriers to feed in tarriff. #5. The third priority of the 2 tier - trains can run on electricity, cars can and should run on electricity. It's unlikely with large trucks, it's not going to happen with planes anytime soon, jets. The most likely technologies that can solve that is biofuels, not corn ethanol which is as dirty as coal when the lifecycle emissions are considered; the most prominent possibility is algae biofuels. They seem to be immensely productive, immensely cost-effective, they can grow fuel by using waste water but there's more R&D research and development required. And it's vitally important to prove that although there already is an Air Force jet running on biofuels, it's very important to bring that online quickly at volume, for those things that can't run on batteries. So that's the third priority. #6. The fourth of the 2 tier is funding the low loss grid, which is needed. It's intelligent, it begins to dramatically affect among other things efficiency, which is our cheapest form of new energy, stopping the waste of energy we're drawing right now. It lets you work in connection with the grid, whether it's pulling power off your plug-in hybrid battery at times when you're not using the car and the utilities the distribute more energy. It lets the financial transactions happen. It helps your washing machine run off-peak hours, your dryer run off-peak hours, it's a no-brainer. It's gonna happen. The question is whether we make it happen before or after we destroy our children's future. That's number four. #7. Number five of the 2 tier is throwing everything we can against deforestation. 15% of the global warming problem is due to deforestation. It kills us two ways - it kills our children's future two ways: 1. it puts immense amounts of carbon in the atmosphere, so that would be close to 1,000,000,000 tons of carbon in the atmosphere, so that would be about 3.6 billion tons of CO2 in the atmosphere every year, when we deforest. And 2. it rips out the lungs of the planet, not only the lungs of the planet, but the irrigation pump. So a huge portion of our Midwest breadbasket irrigation actually comes out of the Amazon, and we're almost at the point of no return on causing the Amazon to burn and be deforested. So money needs to be spent domestically and internationally to make that stop. So the first of the two demands is youre going to pay your wreckage costs, we're no longer going to hide them off the books. I'm not gunna pay them, you fossil fuel extractors and your consumers are with a rising recognition, un-hiding, of the wreckage cost over 10 years. And 2. we are not going to use taxpayer funds to destroy our children's future anymore. We are going to use those funds, but were going to use them to restore a future to our children, starting with keeping our frontline industries that have been producing global warming coal oil, natural gas, corn ethanol, transitioning those workers over to the green energy economy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze5Q9sAEnww If my son is deathly ill and it becomes apparent that it's a relatively unknown, extremely complex disease; if I'm a responsible parent, my responsibility is not to become the world's qualified surgeon or diagnostician or internist, but I do have a responsibility as the steward of my child's life, to gain an appropriate level of clarity on two things. One, what am I willing to pay personally, financially, in energy and time, to keep my child alive, how far I'm willing to go; and Two, deciding to learn enough to fulfill the stewardship role. It almost never happens that a good parent would say to the Dr. 'I don't know what you're doing, I don't really know who you are, but the sign on the door says you know what your are doing, so go take care of my child, do what you want, I have no say in things. Huh? The stupid parent is disrespectful of the of the doctor, the negligent parent is abusive of the Dr., is haughty or directive. The responsible parent however, while respecting the doctor, respects his or her own need to take primary responsibility for their children's welfare, by becoming knowledgeable enough to discern the best doctor from one that's not the best Dr., to see the best hospital from one that's not the best hospital, to see the most promising regimen of treatment from one that's not so. This would be obvious to anyone listening that has ever taken responsibility of this sort or who has been taken care of by someone of significant personal competence and responsibility. A key point here is again, it is not the job, and would be a disservice to the child, of the parent having the lunatic attitude that they were going to become the world expert on this disease and the world's leading administerer of care. They don't have the time for it, they don't have the background for it, they would muck it up. The left in this country has paralyzed itself by deciding to be policy wonks, by deciding to tell Washington what do, by deciding to dictate policy. That could be death to the child, that could be death to productivity when the left or right does it, but the right doesn't do it so much. There are two demands of the Death Fast, as just discussed. There's a complexity in one of them that has not fully been worked out as of this writing - not being or aspiring to be the world expert on each of these issues, but rather the extremely knowledgeable stewards, which we have become. There is a complexity or aspect that requires considerable detail work - but here's the architecture of it. This relates to import and export goods. So steel which is a tremendously energy intensive product, but say it's being imported from China, and let's say China does not follow in lockstep with the fee and dividend we're applying (graft and pay-offs run pretty strong there, too). It so happens that wind and sun are pretty much at grid parity with coal-fired electricity, with gasoline, with natural gas. But whatever that difference is, if China stayed with coal, American companies could be, to that degree, possibly, at a competitive disadvantage with that incoming steel. I have no admiration for the man, I think he was a doddering old fool with Alzheimer's, Ronald Reagan. But even a doddering old fool with Alzheimer's can say some useful, well scripted things - "trust but verify." So the approach to managing this would be, and bear in mind this whole thing is a wartime effort, we've been waging war on our children's future for 30 years in our senseless, genocidal, orgy of burning fuels that emit warming gases. Drowning our children's future in warming gas. This is a wartime speed effort. We don't get to set the timeframe and if it's not messy, we've already lost. World War II was won. Eisenhower was one of the greatest planners the world ever seen said, 'Plans are worthless; planning is everything.' It comes back to the stewardship idea. The basic architecture of this would be trust but verify. So with our import process we would offer to that manufacture of Chinese steel This is not about a trade war, we're not trying to manipulate you, in fact, you're the most in the crosshairs of this global warming . Were trying to help us all in a wartime speed, wartime caliber effort, Unviolent. We want to trust but we want to verify. So if you want to give us 19 | P a g e

credible paperwork on the amount of carbon used in and then emitted in your manufacturing process for a ton of steel, that's what we'd like to use. We'll need to verify, but let's assume that you're truthful and diligent, then to the degree that you have not assessed the incrementally $20-80per ton of carbon over the next 10 years, then we'll do it for you, and apply that as a fee on your product so that it is competitive in the marketplace, and does not place our companies at a competitive disadvantage. If you do not provide us credible paperwork, then we, we know how to manufacture steel, we can make some estimates about your plants. We can know quite easily where your energy sources are, whether you're using wind electricity or coal, for example, and we'll make some guesses as to what that is and we will apply fees accordingly. China and India would be the two that would be most likely from an economic standpoint to object. Of course, there is a difference between political posturing and genuine objection. China and India are the two counties that are going to be the most decimated, if we don't arrest local warming now. Their reservoirs are the glaciers in the Himalayas which are rapidly melting. Those reservoirs are what they irrigate their crops with, and secondarily what they drink. They'll have all kinds of wars and mass migration if that doesn't stabilize. A huge staple in their diet is rice. The rice growing areas in Asia are at sea level. They'll be inundated by the 6 foot sea level rise that otherwise will occur this century if we don't arrest global warming. So they're going to cooperate. They may moan and groan but they are going to come along. That's the nature of how we would handle things at the import port, and exports along the same line. 'Oh, but Loving, there so many holes in that.' Good! There were a lot of holes in the plan to get astronauts on Apollo13 down out of space. None of it had been simulated. They never thought of such a possibility. The ships life-support blown out, they figured out the solution at wartime speed effort. We are fighting for the basic survival of humanity and the basic humanity of the environment and livability of the planet that our children are on. If there isn't some mess like this issue of keeping a fair playing field between countries, to be fixed, then we're not doing our job. We're allowing ourselves paralysis by analysis, something the next 2000 generations can't afford us to indulge ourselves in.

A09: Before We're Done It'll Take Death Fasts 1-4

The one thats gonna hit first is global genocide by warming gases - Co2, natural gas, corn ethanol, as dirty as coal when the whole lifecycle emissions are considered, and deforestation... all these emissions have to be stopped and they have to be stopped now - 50-80% by 2020; entirely doable, if winning WWII was doable, reducing GHGs 80% by 2020 is much more doable, and infinitely more important to our children, and those of the next 2000 generations. 2nd round of Death Fasts: But close behind that first meteor, global warming, are three others that will destroy any future for our children if allowed to hit. The 2nd meteor is the hemorrhaging from the vicious rape that we have done of our mother earth this last hundred years and especially these last thirty years, must be repaired. We must get billions of trees in the ground, entirely doable, but we must get billions of tress in the ground. Humanity exists, life exists on earth, because of the top six inches of earth, the topsoil. Two billion tons per year, 4 billion tons per year of topsoil are blowing out of Africa into the oceans every year, are blowing out of China into the oceans as well as choking S Korea every year. Life is not sustainable without topsoil. As we learned to do in the dust bowl and have applied in the US since then, the same conservation efforts must happen around the world. We're headed towards a third to half of the species being extinct by century's end. That must stop. 90% of the large fish that were in the ocean when I was a boy are now gone. Ocean reserves must be established; they've proven their ability to regenerate the ocean, that must be done, and on and on. I wont try to recite all of Plan B which is simply a compendium of the mainstream science, here. I can't do your homework for you. I can only point you in the right direction. If everyone wants to live at the standard of living of people in India, where 60% of the children, if they were born in California, would be in intensive care, if everyone wants to live at that level, Earth can support 10 billion people. If thats not what we want, and in fact, a third to a half of the world population is now trying aggressively to get the American lifestyle, the earth can support 2 billion people. At a Mediterranean standard of living it's more like 5 billion. We're at 7 billion now, and we're headed toward ten billion people. Thats not sustainable. That brings us to the last two meteors - Population and Poverty. The key to stabilizing population is educating young women and keeping people healthy. The key to stabilizing population is eliminating poverty, and educating young women does that. For every year of education their family size goes down by 10%. There are other things that need to be done - family planning, training, again, see Plan B. It's all laid out. It's all proven; various countries have done various parts of the plan with huge success, like Iran, who by applying these techniques, these social science programs, reduced their population,, their family size, 50%, 60%, 70%, in just a matter of years. Theres no theory here, just proven practices that need to be applied en masse in the right areas. So the 3 meteors that will hit after we stop warming gases are, stopping the bleeding of Earth Rape, repairing, bringing back to health the Earth, the oceans, the farmlands, the forests; stabilizing the Population; and to do that, eliminating Poverty. All of which are entirely doable, entirely financially doable. We're looking at something like the budget associated with doing so of approximately

one third - no one sixth of the world defense budget, or one third of the US defense budget, war budget if you will. About 200 billion dollars per year in a multi multi trillion dollar world economy. So if you don't give your children a future, and whether I'm talking to someone who is 16 years old or 60 years old, it's not because you couldn't it's because you're crazy insane. Its because you're so addicted to your iPod, your Fox news, your next car, that you couldn't be bothered to stand up and give the next 2000 generations, hundreds of billions of people, a future. Stand up find your humanity. You can do it. So theres work to be done after this first round of Death Fasts. The second round of Death Fasts is to go after those other three meteors. To demand US and world policies that avert the impact of those three meteors. Now it's all laid out in Plan B. One final and crucial demand of the 2nd round of Death Fasts - Justice from the earth wreckers via warming - US, Germany, and UK primarily; justice from the developing countries. Within the ocean of lies that have been poured out on all these subjects, by the deniers, the obstructers, is that we, US, China, India are all equally culpable here. Uh, no. China will need another 40 years at current rates to have put as much warming gasses into the atmosphere as we the US, UK and Germany have. Hence we three are the cause of China's and India's, Brazil's need to convert to renewable energy, immediately; not they, not their behavior up until now, but ours. You break it, you fix it, or you pay for it. You is US. Poverty is one of the four meteors. The poor countries, including China where per capita income is 10% that of US, cannot afford, nor by justice should afford, to by themselves pay for the wreckage we did. So part of the demand of the 2nd round of Death Fasts is just restitution by US, UK, Germany and the other industrialized nations, to the countries who's environment we're largely responsible for wrecking, including using up their share of the common 'land fill,' in the atmosphere, for warming gasses. But we're not done with that second round. That second round doesn't finish it. The third round of Death Fasts: The founding fathers of this country would have given their lives to prevent the way that corporate charters have evolved from the requirement that they be socially responsible entities, to now be given personhood and an unbridled ability to compete against each citizen of this country. Its no longer one man one vote. Its now one dollar one vote, and the corporations have amassed billions, tens of billions. Human life is incompatible with these inhuman behemoths. I'm not being slanderous, I'm being clinical and if you want to disagree with me thats fine. If you haven't seen CBC's most successful documentary, called 'The Corporation', you must see it. The US indigenous nations have virtually no sovereignty, as the indigenous don't around the world. When did we decide that this generation would consume the coal of the next two-thousand generations? When did we decide that this generation would consume the natural gas of the next ten-thousand generations? When did we decide, when was it decided that this generation would consume all the life of the oceans, never again to be enjoyed by any generation, but enjoyed by every generation up until now? When was it decided that this generation would consume a third to a half of the world's species by century's end, never again to be enjoyed by the next two-thousand generations? When did we decide that virtually every mineral would be raped and plundered from the Earth: our share and the share of the next two-thousand generations, by roughly 2060 all of the major minerals will be gone except for Iron Ore I think...when was that decision made? A15: The 4 Pillars of the CO2 Death Fast.

With all four in place it will prevail, if there are but 1,000 people in this country who love their children and humanity more than they love their own lives. And if there are not, we're just not a viable species anymore and its time for the creator to exterminate us. The first pillar came to me only about three weeks ago after four years of striving to see not just how to fight global Armageddon, environmental Armageddon, but how to stop it. And I never dreamed I would see the answer of how to stop it, but I never stopped yearning to see it with every fiber of my being. And about three weeks ago my dream was answered when the following came to me. "When enough are seen dying for it, global warming will stop. The corollary being, when enough are seen dying for it, global warming will stop." Not might stop; will stop. Can you see that? Can you see that it's not might? One can quibble with my assertion that 1,000 people here in front of the Canadian Embassy will do what 200 women were able to do back in 1918 by allowing themselves to be tortured in prison 30 miles south of here in VA for women's rights. One can disagree that 1,000 of us will be able to achieve what 30, and finally 2-400 Freedom Riders, bus riders, did in 1961 by cutting through the insanity of this country, and on and on with Tahrir Square, apartheid, etc. One can quibble with my assertion that it's 1,000. Frankly, if it were high school students 200 would do it. If we're all old folks like me without tattoos, maybe it's 2,000. But whatever the number is, it's miniscule compared to the hundreds of billions of lives that we're destroying right now by not stopping this. What a trivial price to pay; pennies for hundreds of billions. #1. So the first pillar is: "Until enough are seen dying for it, global warming will not stop. When enough are seen dying for it, global warming will stop." The second pillar is the root of that, which came to me recently after a lifelong attempt to fully grasp the works of King, Gandhi, Jesus, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Rachel Corry, the Tahrir Square revolutionaries, the anti-apartheid movement, Nelson Mandela....what's the root of all these? What's going on? And it hit me recently: #2. The second pillar is: The perfect and powerful form of waging unviolent warfare - the following: "I am here to collect what is rightfully ours, and if the price is my life I will joyfully pay it." We are here to collect what is rightfully ours, and if the price is one of our lives, ten of our lives, a thousand of our lives, ten thousand of our lives we will joyfully pay it. And we're here to claim a future for our children by un-hiding the wreckage fee from the cost of coal and oil, so the true cost of $16-20 a gallon for gas begins to show, and the true cost of coal-fired electricity of 35 cents a KWh, not 7 cents, begins to show. That's simply what we're here to claim and no more subsidizing of the destruction of our childrens future, like 70 billion dollars in subsidies to coal and gas per year, but re-allocating those subsidies so our kids have a future. To renewing their future. #3. The third pillar is "This is not a business as usual campaign. We didn't win WWII business-as-usual.; The women's suffragists didn't win the right to vote business-as-usual. The Tahrir Square revolutionaries didn't win business as usual, through a normal, parliamentary procedure, through petitioning the government. In any of the successful unviolent warfare, unviolent struggles, they also didn't win through brutality, they didn't win through bullying, they didn't win through dictating terms, and that's not what this is about either. We're not here to bully, we're not here for business-as-usual. We're here for a wartime speed effort to finalize the salvation of humanity and get on with executing it. But we're not here to bully, we're not here to dictate terms. We've done our homework, we've put forth what is ascribed to by the leading scientists,

technologists, economists on the planet, but our only demand is that in 2012 we save humanity, which is entirely doable. But we're not here for business as usual. We're not here for normal parliamentary procedures. We didn't win WWII that way, we didn't get women's rights that way, we didn't get civil rights that way, we're not going to save humanity that way. So don't waste our time with that, and we will happily continue to wait, continue to pile up the bodies, until people get it, till they get that this is not to play games, this is not to talk, this is to win a war, and there are only seconds left on the clock. Those participating in this campaign must maintain that 'this is all-out unviolent war' mind-set at all cost, and we'll just keep piling up the bodies until enough other people get it. #4. And then the fourth Pillar are the two demands, that have been clearly laid out elsewhere in videos posted today: A. That the wreckage costs, the 80% of the coal, gas, tar sands, natural gas, corn ethanol, and deforestation costs that are not showing, but will now, over the next ten years, show at roughly 10% more each year. That the real cost to our children, that's currently being shipped to our children, that gas is $16-20/gal, not $4/gal, will show. "Oh my gosh, the economy will implode; yes, it will be devastating to go from today's $4/gal gas , real price $18/gal, to the energy equivalent of $1/gal gas from wind power and electric cars. Oh my gosh, that will absolutely destroy our economy, just the way it destroyed our economy to go from the horse and buggy and buggy-whips, to the automobile." It will be economic Armageddon. And the horror of it is, for every fossil-fuel job that goes away on the front line, 8 green energy jobs will occur. (Gee, if we had an unemployment problem in the US now, that could really be helpful, couldn't it? Never mind.) B. And the other part of the fourth pillar is the demand that all Earth-killing subsidies, toward fossil fuels, toward natural gas, toward factory farms, toward fishing, toward ocean-fishing, those workers need to be helped with the subsidies as well, to be moved toward the sustainable economy, toward agribusiness, any major Earth-killing subsidies, and %10 a year will be zero by year 10 and will be re-allocated to Earth growing subsidies. Those are the four pillars. Morally unassailable. Morally a slam-dunk. Are there a thousand people that will give their lives joyfully to have it prevail? I highly recommend it.

I don't know how many were killed among the Egyptian revolutionaries but I recall it being few. Gandhi and his fellow warriors threw off the Empire of his day, the British. I recall few if any of the British being killed, My sense is, it was hundreds or maybe thousands of the Indian revolutionaries being killed, compared with tens of millions of World War II, millions and millions in World War I. Is it reasonable to measure the power of a weapon in terms of the changes it brings compared with the destruction? I think even the Pentagon would agree to that. Even violent wars they want as little destruction as possible to the spoils they hope to win. The most powerful, effective wars, with the most construction, and orders of magnitude less destruction, are the Unviolent wars - we're here to collect what is rightfully ours, and if the price is our life, we will happily pay it. "I'm asking you to fight! I'm asking you to fight, against their anger, not to provoke it," Gandhi. Gandhi wasn't allowed to die in his fight to liberate from England. That was a much more humane time. But Gandhi wasn't allowed to die. The women suffragists werent allowed to die. They were willing, but they weren't allowed, they won without dying. Few if any of the Freedom Riders died. They were willing but they weren't allowed to, before they awakened the sanity of the nation. Some of the Tahrir Square revolutionaries were killed, many of the anti-apartheid South African revolutionaries were killed, but not tens of millions. How odd, that I and you have thought of unviolence as being weak. How stupid. How ignorant. What a failure of education, what a failure of literacy, what a failure of clarity. (What a brilliant success of the status quo forces fabulous propaganda on their part.) By allowing folks to not pay their full bill, by paying only 20% of your gasoline and electricity bill, and sending the 80%, the wreckage costs on to your children, you're selling them into slavery. They will not be able to avoid paying those costs - 20 or 30% of the wealth of this country as at sea level, around our coasts - San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Houston, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, the 20 to 30% of Florida, slated to go underwater, with the projected sea level rise this century and early next. Norfolk, Washington, Manhattan and Baltimore, Boston. The enslaved children might decide to let all those go underwater, the 6 foot sea level rise this century, currently locked in, unless you break the lock. Now. But in all likelihood that's not will be allowed. The must read, if you have any heart at all, at least a summary, the Lord Nicholas Stern study of almost 10 years ago now, that is pretty much universally ascribed to throughout the economic community, saying that we must spend 2 to 4% of global national product, GNP, starting today, to replace the use of these future killing gases fuels, or our children will pay an estimated 25-35% of GNP, their lifetime earnings to try and survive the wreckage that we've unleashed on them. That's slavery, and as talked about in other essays and other video logs herein, if World War II could be won, this can be won, in a walk. If a man could be put on the moon in 10 years, this can be done in a walk. If Mubarak could be thrown off this can be done without a fraction of the personal risk, suffering, or death. How did Gandhi get dozens and hundrends of people over the course of an entire day, and much of the night, to walk into swinging, metal-tipped batons, wielded by India's British military force, vowing that they would not raise a hand to protect themselves, and getting brutally beaten to the ground, kicked regularly in the groin, still refusing to use their hands to shield themselves in any way. How did Gandhi get that to happen? In the must-see movie, Iron Jawed Angels, Alice Paul and I think it was 200 of her sister warriors, for women's rights back in 1918, were in a brutal workhouse prison, 30 miles south of DC. Alice Paul was put in solitary, kept in solitary, where she undertook a hunger strike. Her sister warriors had no idea what was happening to her. At one point she was brought out for a moment, and they saw her emaciation, and immediately joined the hunger strike, instantly. How did that happen? Probably the quote that I cite the most frequently, is Albert Schweitzer - "example is not the major thing in influencing people, it's the only thing." If you're standing in front of a painting with a friend who's looking the other way and the friend asks about that painting, will you stand and explain it to them? Or will you turn them and show it to them? Imagine two people in two different situations, trying to promote the same product, let's say, a cereal. In these two, isolated incidences they're both sitting down to breakfast, and it's a new cereal, no one knows about. One of them is devouring the cereal and turns to their friends and says 'oh, you should try it,' and the other is eating some other cereal, kind of winces a bit when they look at the cereal they are about to recommend, 'Oh, you should really try this other one. Huh? "Example is not a major thing in influencing people, it's the only thing." This from Schweitzer, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952, this man Renaissance man - physician, philosopher, theologian, concert organist, speaker in demand all around the world. Yet he chose to set the example of being a doctor setting up and running clinics in parts of Africa where no white person ever had been to, medical clinics. Nobel Peace Prize in 1952. My advanced degree work includes psychology, a hideous field, 99.99% of them should be almost literally in psych wards themselves, nurse Ratched's all, with very few exceptions, nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, convincing people that their sane aversion to a sick culture is actually insanity and sickness that needs to be cured. Tearing away their humanity to fit them into a sick system. But there are few bits of sanity and some great, quite great students of the human condition in psychology, Csikszentmihalyi, Maslow, Rogers, most significantly Adler, and Victor Frankel, but there's also some research that's useful. You all know the old saw, but it is well documented by research - 80% of all communication is visual, nonverbal. We learn from what we see. Far and away the most powerful learning is called 'vicarious learning,' that's the fastest, it's the most potent - seeing someone do something, seeing how they react, whether it's a child or an adult. The child sees another child carelessly walk into a coffee table, bang their shin, and sees them wince in pain and cry, that observer child just learned a lesson and is not going to do make the same mistake themselves. Be the change the world needs to be, or for God sakes, get outof-the-way, and stop creating the illusion, that something worthwhile is being done. They invested untold sums in placing a man on the moon because they perceived, rightly or wrongly, that they had everything to gain and nothing to lose. Rightly or wrongly this is why they fought WWI. If you watch one of the four must-see movies, (for those that are unwilling to stay on the sidelines, while the future of the next 200 generations, 200 billion people, is destroyed, one of those movies), one of the four must-sees is Iron Jawed Angels, in which one of the central characters is the wife of a Senator, gradually, painfully choosing to confront the evils that her daughters will face. Despite the horror in retribution from her husband, because when she considered her daughters, she saw that she had nothing to lose and everything to gain. An onlooker may say that she had everything to lose. That wasn't her experience of it, living for her daughters. She ultimately saw that she had nothing to lose and everything to gain. And so it's been with every revolution. Except this one, WWIII, is a war by ourselves, our lower Angels against our higher Angels. We're doing it to ourselves, we're doing it to our own children. That's a level of insanity that maybe the world has never seen. The Mayas extinguished themselves by destroying their environment. But there's reason to think they didn't know nearly as clearly as we do, what they were doing to their children. Other nation states, Sumaria for example I think, have extinguished themselves st throughout history. But there's reason to think they didn't understand nearly as clearly as 21 century US that they were doing it to themselves, as we do, They simply didn't have the science. They didn't have the tools. We do. The fact is that anyone from the age of 12 to 80, with a sufficiently functioning mind, that's the age ranges that can read the signs here if they so want, and see that they have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, by joining these Death Fasts. Is that likely to happen? It's profoundly unlikely to happen. It's a colorless, odorless gas, we're doing it to ourselves. We're the most addicted, affloholic, self-centered, least self-sacrificial group of people there's ever been on the planet, drowning in over privilege versus our 4 billion brothers and sisters living on four dollars a day. And we think we don't have enough; we think we don't have enough to spare to fight for our children's lives. But the truth is there is nothing to lose and everything to gain by going on these death strikes, more than ever before in human history. And is it possible that there are 1000 people in this country with enough health left, enough heart left, enough humanity left, to see that and act? It's possible. There's no other way this global environmental Armageddon is going to be a averted.

Did you know that half the rivers in this country, by the time your children are my age will be devoid of all life? Did you know that, unless the 2000 leading economists in the world are wrong, whereas you spent your working years building a life you could enjoy, all you people from now on will spend a third of their lives trying to survive your criminal apathy, your lack of caring, your criminal insanity. Literally a third of their lives. So take whatever you pay in taxes and lay another 30% of your income on top of that. What do you think will happen to the 20 to 30% of the country's wealth that is at sea level, our country's cities, as your apathy locks into place a 6 foot sea level rise this century, and 45 foot sea level rise next century? What do you think is going to be done with those cities? Either your children will let that wealth go away, and thereby be massively impoverished, or, they will spend a third of their lives basically working with all their discretionary income to try and prevent the destruction of all that wealth, fortifying the cities against that sea level rise. Do you know where a major portion of the irrigation for the nation s breadbasket comes from, for our midWest? The rainforests, the Amazon. They are a massive, massive moisture pump. They shoot massive amounts of moisture into the atmosphere and substantial portions are carried by the winds up over our crop land. Rainforests. Unless you get off your butt they will be gone. Probably by mid-century or earlier. Canada is the new America. You are forcing your children to consider moving from ever desertifying United States southwest, Midwest, south, and increasingly moving northward, to more fertile, survivable climate in Canada. You are making America worthless. Is that really what you want to do? That's what you are doing. I bet you are against war. Not if your very being, like my father's generation was, isn't pitted against the dire threat to your children - environmental Armageddon. The wars we see today will be nothing. Think about it. 6' sea level rise will displace an estimated 500 million to a billion people around the planet. You think that those people aren't going to go into war with the people whose lands they are forced to try and move toward? You don't think so? You don't think that in the US so called national interests, that your children and grandchildren will have to put on uniforms to try and go and secure these interests, dying as US people did in Somalia, as we do in Iraq, as we do in Afghanistan? You must know that if we allow more warming gases into the atmosphere, if we don't in 2012 start and maintain a 6% reduction per year of emissions, what we put in the atmosphere won't really matter, because we're right on the verge of melting the arctic tundra, and permafrost. So the warming gases, half a trillion tons of which are over our heads now that we've put up there largely the last 30 years, to achieve that much warming, without that incremental gas, know what it would take to keep that amount of warming? Jim Hansen and his team estimate it would take the thermal equivalent of roughly 400,000 Hiroshima class nuclear weapons going off in the atmosphere. Every day. Every day. Every day. If you let the permafrost melt because you do not cause the reduction by 6% per year starting 2012, by putting your body on the line, by putting your very life on the line, by joining this Death Fast, here in front of the Canadian Embassy in DC, if you don't do that? You are responsible for the melting of that tundra. The death of all life worth living is your feet. I had heard that decades ago and I sort of dismissed it; I thought it was pretty far-fetched. He was exactly right. First of all, we know what the weapons of WWIII are. Warming gases from burning tar sands, coal, oil, natural gas, corn ethanol, de-forestation (deforestation is 15% of the warming gases btw, deforestation, let-alone ripping out the lungs of the planet). It's got to stop, it's got to stop now. And natural gas, which is 25-35 times more warming than CO2. Natural gas, the major component of which is methane. We've been waging that war against all of humanity for 30 years in a drunken stupor of our massive addiction to stuff, and comfort, and apathy, and irresponsibility, of which we've made a deadly orgy. It's our lower angels that have been waging that war; the question is now: will we summon, will enough of us summon our better angels to oppose those lower angels? If enough of us do, we'll win. The higher angels have proven throughout history they're much stronger. The question is whether they get awakened in time. This city is full of people and non-profits, in nice comfortable jobs doing nice work on all sorts of allegedly human humane causes - Human rights, civil rights, legal rights, housing rights, protecting the rainforests, protecting certain species. If 2012 goes by without this Death Fast being successful, without the two demands being won: number one, un-hiding the wreckage costs of coal and oil and other warming gases, and number two: 100% re-directing the subsidies we're spending on earth wreckage ($70 billion on coal and oil a year for example) on Earth health - low loss smart grid, algae biofuels, regulation for feed-in tariffs (a huge accelerant for green energy) stopping deforestation and first and foremost transiting our front-line fossil fuel workers over to that green economy. They've been doing their job, they need to be helped. If we don't win those demands this year, which means not a thousand of us loved humanity, loved our children's future more than we loved ourselves. If those people come forward, if they do we'll win, if they don't we'll lose. We'll be the last generation in human history to have enjoyed Earth. Every generation in the future will spend their lives trying to survive Earth. The Sir Nicholas Stern study early last decade as I recall, easily found on the web, universally subscribed to by the world's leading economists: were we to do whats necessary today it would cost 2-4% of gross domestic product; if by 2012 we don't finally do it then the best case will be the current young people will spend roughly one third of their lifetimes earnings, 20-35%, simply trying to survive the wreckage that we've descended upon them, most simply in trying to protect the 20-30% of our nations wealth in our sea-level cities NYC, Boston, Miami, Tampa, Houston, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC. A third of their lives, a third of GDP will go towards trying to survive the damage. And the best they'll be able to hope for their children, and the best their children will be able to hope for their children is that their childrens lives are less than twice as hellacious as their own because the death spiral only accelerates. The current wreckage is the thermal equivalent of 400,000 nuclear weapons going off in the atmosphere every day, that's the additional 100ppm, 120 or 130ppm we've put in the atmosphere largely in the last 30 years. By missing our deadline of 2012, we virtually make it certain that the arctic tundra and the permafrost are going to melt releasing the methane trapped there, the equivalent of 30 million, the thermal equivalent of 30 million Hiroshima class nuclear weapons in the atmosphere every day. Every Day. Every day. Every humane, human rights, civil rights, earth rights... issue that you ever thought possible, all notion of abolishing war, will be gone for the rest of recorded history, it will be a descent into sticks and stones, it 41 | P a g e

Teams of psychologists descended on Germany after the war, expecting to document the ogres, expecting to document the vile, evil, crazy people in Germany, that prior to the war was easily among the world's most of civilized, educated, liberal, devoted to the arts, literate nations. And the results of the studies were clear and consistent - these are normal people, the studies indicated. These were nice, normal people like us. I've known that for decades . What hit me only recently was, that says that people that are considered nice and normal, in our modern-day society, do horrible atrocious things. It is normal, quote normal, in people considered normal, western societies considered normal, in this modern-day world, to do en masse, incredibly atrocious things; and let's not allow ourselves the intellectual dishonesty of saying, 'well whose doing the Holocaust today?' You, by not standing up and putting your body in the way of the genocidal, global warming, are doing on a scale what Hitler never would've dreamed he could do on such a scale. To stop it requires - shocking, and for a problem of this nature, affloholism, as for alcoholism, it is exposure to such shockingly heroic human health, human love, human selflessness, human giving, human courage that it shocks awake that part of the addicted, otherwise criminally insane, criminally Affloholic, criminally addicted parties. There is no other way. There's no other diagnosis, and you would want there to be? This is to say that the way to cure this, is to become a ragingly healthy human being yourself, to become a Gandhi, King, Jesus an Oscar Romero, a Teresa of Calcutta, a Rachel Corrie, a Diane Wilson. King, Gandhi, Jesus, ignoring the hideous dogma of the so-called church, were emphatic that we were all born to be that sort of person; just like every cell in your body is a heroic entity. 40 billion a day self-terminating, apoptosis it's called, for the well-being of your body. This is what were born to do, this is what life is, this is where joy is. That were lost this in this society does not change our biology. You must be the cure, your example must be the cure, and what a joyful path for you. This is the end time, this is Armageddon. What's unclear about Armageddon is how it turns out. Will it be the death of the evil mass infecting our spirit - our Affloholism? Will it be the beginning of the end of our Affloholism or will our Affloholism finally be the end of the human species, as well as half or more of the species on Earth? You will decide this. If it's to be, it's up to thee. It's always been mass addiction, good people who were mass-addicted to promised material gains, in Germany. What if a thousand people, what if 10,000 what if 100,000 had gone on death strike, Death Fast, in 1930 and 1932? The lives of tens of millions would have been saved. The misery of 10's of millions would have been saved. Your action or continued cowardly inaction will make more difference now, than any human's behavior in any time up till now, or any human behavior in the future. A25: DIAGNOSIS Profound Failure of Imagination.

Some kind and relatively good hearts in Occupy have been providing some level of support to this Death Fast, and as I've gotten to know them, what maybe I thought was the one and only hallmark of true activism, the absence of all cowardice, the presence of all love, came clear to me is not the only issue, to true activism, to activism that is has hope, that has potency. Because in two individuals three, actually, that I can think of, I don't find any significant amount of cowardice, but in recognizing that they're still not grasping the clear need for the Death Fast, another factor hit me - profound lack of imagination in the people of today. I hesitate to raise his name because such a loose cannon, maybe Alzheimer's now, addle headed, but used to do some important work. James Lovelock, father of the Gaia theory, worked for NASA for years, a Britt. In one of his books spoke of how, the reason we would not overcome global warming, was because we were not mentally capable of responding to such a slow-motion threat. A colorless, odorless gas. That certainly is on the lines of what I'm finding here, a profound lack of imagination. Everything has an effect, and the more that high-tech media, movies, television, handheld media, computers have filled our nervous systems, it has displaced the opportunities for imagination, and our circuits for imagination have dramatically atrophied. These two bright souls at Occupy that I reference, are among our most hopeful in terms of their evident capacities, and even they fundamentally lack the intellectual and moral imagination to see and fully grasp yet this unfolding Armageddon, Armageddon for the youth of today, Armageddon squared each succeeding generation. They're unable to see. I was about to say I'm unable to articulate it, but, there are dozens that have tried. Are there 10 in the world, are there 10 in this country, with the moral and intellectual imagination see this unfolding horror? The evidence that they have, or not, will be in their behavior, they'll come and join the Death Fast, or not. Yes, maybe they'll invent something better, that is extremely unlikely. They'll come and join. The evidence so far is there are not such, there are not 10. There are those that see it well enough to write about it, but the way you can tell someone actually sees is by their behavior and no one is behaving as though they see the impending horror, maybe Jim Hansen a little bit. The way to overcome a fundamental lack of imagination is to exercise, the way to overcome the inability to climb mount McKinley or mount Everest, is to fundamentally exercise the abilities to do so. So, unless some people choose to deliberately and appropriately exercise their imagination, and do it rapidly, they will not be able to appropriately respond. They will not be able to join the Death Fast with joy, for the joy of it, for the euphoria of seeing how to avert the horror that they, in their imagination, based on the science, have seen. Everything depends upon some people developing moral imagination. I'll run the risk here of opening myself to even more ridicule and criticism than normally I do. If the Gospels are at all correct, virtually no one had the moral imagination to understand what Jesus was about and what Jesus was doing until after his death. There is the remotest possibility that after my death, among one or three or five, it may, it may spark the beginnings of that imagination. Death fast is the only way to stop global warming in time, and what a wonderful way, what a cheap, inexpensive weapon. A thousand of us with our life on the line will stop it, and most of us won't be allowed to die. The most powerful, most effective, least deadly weapon in history. The death of the horse and buggy and buggy whip industries didn't cripple America. In fact aggressively embracing new sources of energy, and transportation launched this country into the forefront of the world economy, launched the middle-class. This is crazy. Even aside from totally destroying the future, totally destroying the future wealth of our children, totally destroying and enslaving them to pay for the excesses of this generation, of this population, totally aside from that, an informed, intelligent US populace would be clamoring to be at the forefront of renewable energy. How big is that market? It depends on what time frame you want to go because easily, it's the energy source for the next hundred years, the next 200 years, the next 500 years. $60 trillion marketplace in the next 50 years? A hundred trillion dollar marketplace in the next hundred years? China and India are poised to dominate that. They've leapt ahead, particularly China ahead of the US, perfecting the technology and implementation of wind and sun. All other things aside, rank insanity that the US population is not demanding the fossil fuel energy, corn ethanol, natural gas industry, out-of-the-way! Not demanding that whatever needs to be done to win the race for the world's renewable energy market, that the US is number one. This is the Sputnik moment friends. In terms of national security, national position, $60, 100 trillion, $200 trillion marketplace. Right now the US isn't really going to be a player. You're okay with that?

I'm not a policy wonk, I'm your brother and I've devoted the last 4 years to mastering the big picture of what's going on here and tragically I seem to be the only one speaking up on the planet that's done so. That horrifies me; I wish I could point you to 10 people, 100 people, 1 person who's getting the big picture and is willing to stand up and say it. I ask for no credit, and I demand not to be picked apart on all the little details ,a little issue here there on which I may not be incorrect. The big picture I'm sharing with you is correct. The magnitudes are correct. When you pay $4 per gallon at the pump, you're doing the equivalent of saying the following: you have a car, it's a relatively new car, for some reason it's not under warranty, a very expensive car. And a part goes faulty in the engine and you go to four service places, get an estimate...each one is a thousand dollars. You don't have a thousand dollars to spend right now. So you go to a fifth one and the fifth one gives you a different answer: $200. $200, and they're a reputable place. $200, that's wonderful! And you go to sign the order, committing to pay $200 to get the work done, but you say to yourself "there's no such thing as a free lunch. what do you mean $200?" "$200, no problem, just sign" "No I want to understand, $200 I noticed some fine print here, what does the fine print say?" "Well, what it says is that the $200 you're gonna pay, to fix the part is really quite easy, the $800 worth of work which I and the other four places will do...the whole engine has to be disassembled, wrecked if you will, to put that part in, the difficult part is to re-build the engine that's $800 worth of work. So what we're gonna do is, cuz I had a hunch you were tight on money, clothes are looking a little bit ragged, you'll pay the $200, and by signing this, you are indenturing your children to pay the $800 about 20 years from now, I can wait, I'm young. That's what you're doing when you buy the gallon of gas. The well calculated and established wreckage fee of burning a gallon of gas is four times what you're paying at the pump. So the true cost of a gallon of gas is between 16 and 20 dollars. What are the wreckage costs? The wreckage of our cities through sea-level rise, which means either trillions of dollars to fortify the cities, or trillions of dollars of wealth destroyed by the rising seas. The war costs for oil, nobody needs to die, we don't need to spend 200 billion dollars per year for wars in the middle east when the energy for our electric cars is coming from Midwest and offshore wind, Solar panels on your roof, which by some miracle are now approaching grid-parity with coal, and that solar panel goes into your electric car, or sun from our SW deserts in our concentrated solar plants. So the war wreckage, the debt that your children will pay for our wars, that doesn't need to be paid. The health costs of a warming planet, tropical diseases are moving northward and southward from the equator. Coal kills an estimated 2 million people worldwide with its pollution per year, the mercury in coal gives permanent brain damage to countless children every year, it kills 13,000 Americans at least and sickens many many tens of thousands, health costs that you're paying, wrecking our economy. These are the wreckage fees, not to mention exterminating, extincting, a third to a half of the species on the planet. What's the financial wealth associated with that? What's the global wealth to your children, of seas that are alive vs seas that are dead, populated by magnificent species vs one that isn't? Of a planet populated with rainforests vs one that isn't? On a planet with coral reefs vs one that is devoid of them. What's the cost of that? What's the wreckage cost of destroying all that? The demand of this Death Fast is to unhide those costs. The real cost of a gallon of gas is $16-$20, so we will march to that over the next ten years. Now instantly, people will look at the fact they're currently ignoring, that wind and sun are near parity with coal, grid parity with coal, at 7 cents a KWh, which is where coal is, and in a matter of a few years from the un-hiding of the wreckage costs, coal will be moving toward 14 cents a kWh, 21 cents a kWh. 'Honey, we're going to be getting a new car, I think we should look at a plug-in Hybrid...Honey, I think it's time for us to switch to wind energy and away from

When you go to either you will see a tab labeled library, including well over 100 of the world's greatest books, movies, audio books relevant to Unviolent warfare and environmental Armageddon, all the contents of which I've studied, often many times, working the information into my atomic structure, and you need to do the same. Most of them have been studied by me for years. Yet, I was unprepared, as it turns out, to fight this fight until four videos that I saw over the last month or so. Shocking. They're all listed in that library in no particular order - Tipping Point, on the tar sands in Alberta, World War III''s Auschwitz; Iron Jawed Angels; and then two videos to do with the freedom rides of 1961 - one, a PBS documentary called Freedom Riders, and the other a companion program done by Oprah, a one hour and half series of interviews with the Freedom Riders that survive today. Shockingly powerful, shockingly insightful. Tipping Point is an hour and a half CBC documentary on the tar sands. Tar sands are a subject I've known well and studied over recent years. I wouldn't have guessed there was more for me to know. James Cameron was involved in this, the infinitely wealthy Canadian creator of the movie "Avatar," and others. Dr. James Schindler, who is the scientist who has been the bane of industry time after time, forcing the exposure of killing, killing toxins that were put in the environment acid rain, phosphates. The indigenous Canadians of Athabasca. Footage of the tar sands. Next to actual footage from Hades this film is the most horrifying, demonic sight. It gave me an experience that nothing else has, quite amazingly, and you need the experience as well. It shows bold face the rank clinical insanity that happens among people when they see the opportunity to make $2 trillion. People can be driven crazy by $100 and kill for it, right? $1000, $10,000. Correct diagnosis is 90, 99% of the cure; I think that's well-known in medical circles. And it's true here as well. We have a mass insanity problem, among the perpetrators like Harper and his government, and the now millionaires and to be billionaires from the tar sands that are funding and supporting him against the wishes of most Canadians, but they haven't found the guts yet to standup and throw out these subhuman, Affloholic creatures, our brothers and sisters all. But among the rest of us as well, they're killing our children and we're standing and watching. Tipping Point is instrumental, you must see it, you cannot fight, you cannot live, you cannot be alive without this monumental view. It must've cost the producers their jobs at CBC. It's a tremendously heroic effort on their part. I've long known that I had a blind spot, with one important Unviolent group of warriors - the women suffragists and I've wanted to close gap and with just that movie, which was an HBO special, it obviously was a labor of Love, by the prominent actresses that perform in it. It strikes me as historically correct, but I know that it is psychologically accurate. And I can no longer think even among all the movies that I've treasured and profited from and learned by, I can no longer think of any movie besides Freedom Riders that so correctly depicts what an activist is, what activism is, what Unviolent warfare is, what it means to be the change that the world needs to be, Gandhi said. And then the final two which are companions, and they are both must see, are the PBS special Freedom Riders, based on the book by that name, which if I lived long enough, I would want to study. But the movie is just stunning. It's largely live footage of the time of the freedom rides and its live interviews with the survivors. It's extraordinarily stunning. magnificent show of Unviolent war that I can think of, live footage - the training, the thinking, the characters, the courage, the impact, the galvanizing effect of near perfect unviolent warfare on the Kennedy administration, it's electrifying to hear a representative of that administration - he was there, he was clubbed, he was beaten. He attempted to rescue, he attempted to stop the second wave - "Young lady," he said to Diane Nash, a leader of the second wave of College students that said, 'no, we're not on going to our final exams, the bus rides will be completed. "Young lady, don't you know you're going to get someone killed?" " Sir," she says to this representatives of the Kennedys, who speaks to us on the film, "we all signed our last wills last night sir, we know exactly what were doing." With that, civil rights went from the bottom of the Kennedys agenda to the top, and to the top of Americas agenda. It was a lightning bolt, and it took it to the top of the national agenda. The near and perfect form, the powerful form of Unviolent warfare - We're here to claim what is rightfully ours, in that case a seat in a whites only waiting room, and if the price is our life, we will happily pay it. There is no other move like this. You have to see it. And what seemed untoppable, still demands that the Oprah special be seen, because there are additional interviews, additional footage. And here. But coming from her, at this time, it took a prominence in my mind, a significant that had never been there before. And it remains, it's now my dominant word for speaking of the divine, or thinking of the divine. And as that's begun to open up my imagination, and my vision, and understanding, it brought together some concepts I've known, but they work linking. I the recent video on my recommendation of the concept of the creator, I spoke of how the word I have been using, Our Father, has been fundamental to my Reformation as a human being, particularly this last 14 years; imagining that there is a father of us all, brings me in contact with all humanity, born and who will be born, now an in the future; instrumental to what I've become, that I value. And, has it brought into my focus, the importance of all the resources of mother Earth? It has, but not with the appropriate prominence, and "the Creator" does. And it was just yesterday I think, that an additional piece fell in place. We have this notion, we human beings, that we are the dominant species in the universe. As far as the universe is currently known this is a deadly way to think. That's the way I thought. We are not the dominant species on Earth. Gaia is. We cannot control Gaia. We cannot control mother Earth. We can damage her. We can wound her. We can destroy major portions of her, and were doing that, but we can't control her. We can't stop her. Her will will prevail. So the myopia I refer to of mine is far from my own. That we've been blind to it doesn't change the fact that we are in partnership with Gaia; excuse me, we need to be in partnership with Gaia, and not act like she is just some research to be raped and plundered, because she will ultimately decide; she is ultimately deciding. She, Gaia, is the most powerful entity on earth and unless we turn away from violating her, and in a wartime, Unviolent effort, turn to restoring her, and healing her, she will exterminate us. We are thus far an invading, hostile, deadly species and she's begun the process of exterminating us. Let that happen, will you?

A30: Death Fasts stop when we win. Demands steepen year by year.

I say you, because I'll be gone soon, you won't be. A thousand people need to show up here in front of the Canadian Embassy this year, the faster they do, the fewer will be allowed to die, and the faster we can get on with this. Here's the objectionable analogy. 10 years ago the bunkers in Iran where their nuclear work is being done was such that the current generation of bunker busters would work. That's no longer the case, they created new bunkers, deeper, under mountains. Bunker busters are still what's needed, but next-generation is what's required and apparently that's under construction under development. So, the nature of the solution didn't change but the power, the impact, the demand of the situation escalated, and so too the response, the next generation bunker buster. Well hunger strike, and marching, were the bunker busters of the 20st century for Unviolent warriors, and infinitely more powerful than bunker busters or nuclear weapons, with much future gains from a human standpoint, but infinitely less loss of life and property. Infinitely stronger than nuclear weapons, but not strong enough for the 21st-century. Just like the bunkers have been dug deeper in Iran the labs dug deeper, the defenses of the status quo have become more sophisticated. Deliberately and/or by accident, the civil rights workers could pick off a strategic target, the Birmingham bus company, and mount sufficient strength to turn it into a rallying point for civil rights movement. What is like that today, Exxon? Exxon is not a local bus company. What we do, boycott gas station? A refinery? It wasn't the whole country that the civil rights workers had to boycott the Birmingham bus company. To make a boycott against Exxon you have to have, not the Navy SEALs, not the INSHE warriors (INSanely HumanE), not the 1 in a million, but the million participating. That's not going to happen. Where can the one in 1 million, the insanely humane, INSHE warriors of today, gain their foot hold? Where's the sweet spot? Hunger strike, marches, demonstrations, just like the past generation of bunker buster, are no longer sufficient for penetrating the defenses of the status quo. Death fast is that weapon, for at least the first half of, and may be the entire 21st-century. Even in the East, were self-immolation has been used successfully, in Vietnam, Death Fast is probably the weapon they should be using. But it's certainly the weapon, the next generation bunker buster, to penetrate the status quo here in the United States. 1000 people need to be here in DC. If they don't show up this year, let's say, just one showed up this year, the but the thousand show up next year. Well, it's still the advanced bunker buster, it'll still work. But the needs of the situation have then changed. The requirements, they've accelerated, compressed. Instead of bending the emissions curve down 6% a year starting in 2012, 7% will be required in 2013, which means instead of $20-80a ton being added, see the demands elsewhere in this document on the video logs, it will need to be recalculated, $25 per year for 10 years, $30 a ton. And if it's 2014 when cumulatively enough people show up at the Canadian Embassy to die on Death Fast, then it's 8% a year, and we have to go to $30, $35 dollars per year per ton. Failure is not an option friends. Five years from now failure is not an option. Pain level, however, for the current population, will go up dramatically. It's already gone up dramatically. Had this begun six years ago when it should have, it would've been 3% per year and top $10 a ton, or five dollars a ton. At what point do we say, 'Oh, no, this is too difficult. Yes it's right to saddle our children and the next 2000 generations with our failure?' Never. So when enough people come here to drive that point home, to be the individual, serially launched, nextgeneration Death Fast bunker busters, the demand will prevail. But the details of the demand, the nature of them will stay the same, but they will accelerate, escalate, compress, because the fact doesn't change - we need to reduce the use of global warming fuels 50 to 80% by 2020, at a rate that will take it down to 80% within the next couple of years after that. Nothing but ever-increasing, ever more skillful denial has resulted from these warnings. We're done. Down by three and there are is one second left on the clock. This is objectively a 1 in a million campaign. Loving, is a 1 in a million messenger. I didn't just say good, I could be a bad 1 in million, but it's a 1 in a million messenger. It seems there's no one has the start-up, and turn-around, general leadership and real world management experience, the constantly running toward emergencies that others are running from, that I do, the situation analysis / diagnosis experience, the failure is not an option attitude - in the entire so called environmental movement. A lifetime of turning and facing dire, emergency situations, and turning them around. That's been what I've done for my entire adulthood. And all this happening in the sickest America, the sickest culture, the most Affloholic addicted culture that's ever been, I'm not being derogatory. I'm being clinical, and if you want this disagree, you can disagree on that basis. You want to bet that if a crisis with the apparent moral clarity of Pearl Harbor happened today, you want to bet that America would respond the same way that it did so many decades ago? I don't. We'd happily send poor people's kids in uniform, but would we stand up as a country? Not as fast, not as well, and maybe not all. Our sick, deathly cowardly populace is not my fault, or yours, but that's what the situation is that needs to be dealt with. In my library on my blogs is a book called Crossing the Chasm. It became the bible in silicon valley that averted what was an ongoing bloodbath of promising startups. And the fatal mistake they were making was trying to go from any new, promising concept, right to a message and a product that would appeal to the mass market. It's impossible. It doesn't work that way. And the fundamental reason it doesn't work that way is that the intermediate group, which is only about 2% of the population, early adapters they're called, as I recall, the pioneers being the .01% of the of the Bell curve, the next group being the early adapters - these are not normal people. They're very un-normal people. They're people of enormous courage, enormous vision. When shown an extremely important emerging opportunity or situation, their first question isn't, 'how are we going to do this?,' their first responses is 'we are going to do this. I am going to buy that, I am going to be part of making this work.' They're problem solvers of profound initiative; doers. They have profound energy, extremely high risk curves. This is nothing I made up Crossing the Chasm. If you Google that, the authors name is Geoffrey Moore, you'll find some pretty good graphics and synopses of the same concept. This is how everything starts if it is going to succeed, and in this sick, mass media, meaningless-impotentactivism society that has been based on the idiocy of trying to pass that step - not bothering to inspire, attract and harness the early adapters, not even any pioneers taking arrows (sorry for the incorrect pc) the 200 women in prison in 1918 prior to getting Suffrage, for example. Fatally, it has been these last 40 years - Let's see the population we want help, let's go right to the fundraising, let's go right to the messages that attract everyone, that appeal to everyone, and off we go. And, you know what? In years we didn't save anyone in Darfur with that approach, but we raised tons of money, hobnobbed with movie stars, and killed years of time. We haven't eliminated poverty with that approach, or made really a dent. Its idiocy. It's murder. The approach we use, religiously bypassing the immensely courageous, creative, high initiative early adapters, it raises lots of funds, it makes people feel 54 | P a g e

really good, and it accomplishes nothing, except killing time. That's not what I'm about. That's not what the effective activists in history have been about. This is an extremely high-stakes, extremely high risk, extremely low probability venture, these Death Fasts. But you know what? The option is certain Armageddon. Death Fasts ARE the weapon. The question is if folks will rise to use it. So for those of you, my beloved sisters and brothers all, that conclude that messages are too cryptic, messages are too narrow, too long, rambling, they don't appeal to a wide audience - I agree that they don't appeal to a wide audience. There are few people on earth that have taken the time to study the original texts of Gandhi, of the great psychologists, etc, and that's fine, but that's what I do, and that's what I'm presenting ; and thats what pioneers and early adapters always insist on doing getting to the root - radical. And the one in a million, the early adapters, or the early pioneers, they actually will flee from anything other than what I'm doing. The early adapters don't want ready answers. They want someone that sees the problem and is living and dying (giving all they are) in the attempt to solve it and that's actually what they're looking for. This is exactly the opposite of what the early majority is looking for - clarity, simplicity, other people doing it, easily digested, clear, safe. That wasn't the established women's suffrage movement; the established women suffragists fled from Alice Paul and her group, far too radical, far too narrow. But Alice and her team, they were the indispensible, missing spark plugs. I'm looking for the spark plugs. How do you come up with messaging that attracts the Navy SEAL? I don't think you do. The Navy SEALs sees other Navy SEALs and says, 'that's what I'm gunna do,' or they don't, and there's no amount of messaging that can get the normal population ever to want to be a Navy SEAL. And there is probably little bad messaging that can discourage the potential recruit. That's what this is about; that's what I'm about - being a Navy SEAL is the only way to attract and join with other Navy SEALS. The rest is pretty much details.

And for the 1 in a million, prayer we can have that 1000 people in this country, when they see this trail blazed, will race for it, won't even ask the question. That's a question we ask in life when we want there not to be an answer. When we want to avoid. Why do I take road x, and not road y, when I'm racing to get to the airport and him late? Because this is what your best judgment called me to do. If you have someone in the car that really is getting on your nerves and just wants to nag you, 'Why are you taking this rout? Why aren't you taking that route?' But if it's two people in the car that both desperately need to get to the airport, and somewhat serious, somewhat honest, constructive, problem solvers, 'yeah, go for a man, seems like a reasonable thing to do. Why did we have to land in Normandy? Why was it 1970 that a man had to go on the Moon? Why was it in 1918, during World War I of all things, that Alice Paul and the women suffragists decided it was this time? Why was it a year and a half ago that the youth decided it was time for Mubarak to go? These are really hideous questions. They're fricking dishonest, they're the questions of cowardice. They're the questions we ask when we don't want to act ,when we want not to act. Anyone looking at this situation knows that for the last 15 years, and especially for the last five years, the deniers, the right wing, the fossil fuel industry, has been playing Russian roulette constantly with the heads of our children and grandchildren with a revolver with five bullets in the chamber. And someone can ask why does it have to be 2012? Why does it have to be 2012 that we have to stop that game of Russian roulette with our children's heads? That's an insane question friends. It may be too late to stop this. What's warmed the planet degree and a half which could be enough to unleash Armageddon itself, environmental Armageddon itself, was the thermal equivalent of 400,000 Hiroshima class nuclear bombs going off in the atmosphere every day. Without the CO2 that's what would've had to happen to warm the atmosphere as much as we have the last 30 years. If it's not too late, in the calculation by most of the scientists, this is it's not too late, we need to bend the emissions curve down now, 6% per year starting 2012. We need to bend it down immediately. We needed to bend it down six years ago, when the science went from extremely clear to crystal clear. There is a reservoir of warming gas, methane ,25 to 35 times more warming than CO2, frozen in the Arctic permafrost, tundra, and maybe another trillion tons under the sea. But the immediate concern is the permafrost, and the tundra. It's starting to melt. There are many places if you light a match it then ignites what looks like water, but it ignites the releasing methane. That frozen reservoir, which is about the mass melt, and flood your children's atmosphere, is the thermal equivalent of not 400,000 nuclear weapons per day, but my rough calculations, 30 million per day. The rain forests are not only the lungs of the planet, the Amazon is the moisture pump, the irrigation pump, for a large part of our Midwest irrigation, the world's bread basket. If it's not too late to save it from burning by lightning strikes, which in history it hasn't, because it's too damp, it's darn near too late. It's being so thinned, so attacked for soybeans for McDonald's hamburgers, or for grazing land for our McDonald's hamburgers, that soon it will be beyond the point of stopping that burning. Now I suppose if you own real estate in Canada and you pray that somehow Canada going to get the irrigation water that we needed for our breadbasket, and there's no reason that they would, well, then maybe this is fine for you. You can move to Canada, if you think your children are going to have enough wealth to do that, then maybe you're okay with that. Otherwise this is really hideous question. Just shut up, don't pay attention to any of this stuff. Keep your head in the sand. Practice your lying to your children, or stop asking such delaying tactic questions. A33: Attracting the 1000 Unviolent SEALS. HOW.

Quite distinguished in that regard, except maybe for the Secret Service. If there are 1000 Unviolent SEALs, that will come in front of the Canadian Embassy then 200 billion people will be spared hell on earth. Otherwise they can be assured of it. How does one attract Navy SEALs? Visibility is certainly important, that they know the SEALs exist. But it's not like advertising Coca-Cola. Actually, in the case of SEALs, were it promoted too much, in the wrong way, they would be convinced it wasn't what they were looking for. A SEAL recruit, is looking for an elite force, to be part of an elite force, not one that advertises itself like Coca-Cola, or tries to be all things to all people. If the SEALs were the only force, the only military force, then presumably no significant or large military battle would be won, the army is essential, for example, but the rolls are different. But without the SEALs, without the Marines, as the tip of the spear, the other forces can't succeed; the much larger forces can't succeed. Artillery can pave the way for forces. Aircraft can do that, but before the large forces can land the Marines and the SEALs need to do their part. They're largely self-selected. When a recruit sees that the SEALs exist, they just know that they want to be a SEAL. I don't think it's a matter of genes, although that may be part of it, but it's something in their upbringing, it's something in the way they've interpreted life. It's something about what the way they want to live. Its something that some of them have made of themselves. And when they see the SEALs, they see the lock that they as a key were designed to fit; very organic. So the key elements to joining the SEALs is the SEALs existing in the first place. Being what they should be. Far and away this is the most important. And the second is simple visibility. Does the SEAL recruit need then hours or days of convincing? Very unlikely. Maybe there are a few details that need to be covered. But it's like a key in the lock and when the key can find the lock that it was designed for it's done. That's what Start Loving is about in this Death Fast. That's what the Death Fast is about. The question is, are there potential Unviolent SEALs out there dying to save all of humanity? And just not seeing how to do it, as I didn't, for so long. That's the question. It's not a sales job. It's not an explaining job. It's not a job of ,explaining the climate science, by way of analogy, to the recruit. Having said that, once the SEAL joins, is there an immense amount of training, are they tremendously responsible for getting up to speed the right way? Of course they are. And hence all this work on finalizing a book (GWD.F) which in significant part, not totally, but in significant part is for the potential SEALS, that come and join this Death Fast in front of Canadian Embassy Global Warmings Death. Fast. Do the Seals go and recruit aggressively in the general population? Of course not. It has to be a selfselection process. They provide low level of visibility, they do their job, they're potentially inspiring the potentially predisposed recruit. But they don't go and try and attract the masses. They try and be a magnet for the needle in the haystack, and that's what the Death Fast is about. That's the role Start Loving is playing. The question is, are there a thousand Unviolent SEALs, who value the life of 200 billion people more than they value their own. That's the question, and will the potential be provided visibility of the Death Fast. There's been no press so far, will they get press, on this day 24 of Death Fast.

"Example is not a major thing in influencing people; it's the only thing," rightly said Schweitzer. 80% or more of communication is visual, nonverbal, one of the few consistently supported tenets of psychology. It's what we do, not what we say, that has influence. To my beloved brother and sister activists. If all that is true, then it would seem that the world you want is one with more taunting, one with more insults, one with more hypocritical self-righteousness, because this is what you do, that's what you be. The exception proves what the rule is. You taunt, you ridicule, you demean others, you disrespect others. I didn't say this is how you think of it. I say this is what you do. So if the world you want to see is more and more and more of that, then you're on the right track. I suspect this is not what you want to see, in which case it's time to reflect on the three must see must-see movies I keep speaking of, Iron Jawed Angels, two Freedom Rider movies, a special , a PBS documentary, and a special by Oprah. There are other examples, but those are just the best, most immediate. Those people clearly wanted a more civil society. They wanted the society with greater humanity, greater respect, greater courage, greater selflessness, peacemaking behavior, standing for what's right, Unviolence, that is, not violating the rights of others in any way. Where people earn and pay for what they value, rather than trying to extort it in any variety of cloaked ways from others. For God sake, what change do you want to see in the world? What do you want the world to be? That's what you need to be. You need to be the tip of the spear. There's no other way. Anything less will kill the one resource you don't have, time. I wish I could remember the quote, it's a widely known saying. But the essence of it is - those who ignore history repeat the same mistakes over and over again. You need to study friends. You're the ones that will reap the horror of your own ignorance. Good hearts, which to my joy, I see some of you have, are not enough, and really good hearts will not settle for less than every possible advantage in serving their clients, and delivering results for their clients, to whom they're dedicated. You owe yourselves better. It's time to step up, and first and foremost, to get clear, sufficiently clear, not perfectly clear, sufficiently clear as to the world you want to see, and you need to be that. There's nothing else you can do that can make up for not doing that. And if you take on that responsibility and hold yourself to the highest standards in that regard, you will be doing the single most powerful thing by orders of magnitude. Everything else is details. Everything else will follow if now, you do the work of developing huge clarity as to the world that you need to see. Part of me wants to let the Creator, wants to let mother earth, Gaia, just start over, to just let us exterminate ourselves. The hatred of the old testament is just so ungodly, so hideous. But there are some truths revealed by it. The Creation will only allow herself to be violated so much. There are rules to creation. The rules by which it works. And if those rules are so violated, as we have the last hundred years - There will be payback, there will be a violent response, there will be consequence. And part of me wants to concede, that sees the futility, the hopelessness, the inhumanity, the sub humanity of continuing as we have. But as I thought about that, I had a realization that I hadn't expected. Round 1 of Death Fasts, let alone all four, (see other videos on this playlist or on this site), they are the great turning. They are the great turning that Jesus died to set in motion. They are the great turning that probably Buddha envisioned. They are the great turning that any humane Atheist envisioned. The great turning, back toward the rules of the Creator. Is the purpose Earth-hugging? For some of us yes, for most of us, no. Just to give a future to our children. But we've come up against the limits, we've come up against the boundaries. We've violated creation, we've violated the rules of the creator, as much as we're going to be allowed. In round one of these Death Fasts, let alone all four rounds, is the great turning back to being children of the creator, back to being in line with the creator, back to being joyful, and away from our insane affloholism, and our insane addictions, ever-increasing these last 30 40 years. This rank insanity, we either turn back toward the creator now, back toward the rules of creation and live in harmony with them, or we turn them over to out of our hands, out of our children's hands, which is the cruel part, and their childrens hands, into the hands of the creator, and she will exterminate us. This is the great turning friends. To paraphrase with liberties Dr. King, 'if you don't heed this call, if you don't place your life on the line for this greatest of all battles in human history, and possibly the greatest battle of the whole human lineage, you are not alive.' 'If you,' as King said, 'if you receive the call and you turn away from it you may live to be 90 but you died on the day you turned away from the call.' Don't turn away from the call, any more than my fathers generation did, any more than the young heroes at Tahrir square did. Turn toward the call. Its why you were born. You weren't born to survive, you weren't born to eat at McDonalds, you weren't born to buy the new dress or the new shirt, you were born to advance the well-being of the species. This is your call. If I recall correctly, there's a phenomenon called apoptosis, well known in biology. In your body and mine, something like 40 billion cells will essentially self-terminate today for the well-being of the body. I didn't understand it until recently, but Gandhi was obsessed with rooting out any fear of death in his life. The man, the soldier, presumably a father, that pushed an Afghan child out of the path of an oncoming vehicle and lost his own life in the process, did he fear death? The marine that dives on a grenade to save his buddies, did he fear death? The young woman who on 9/11 was one of the pilots scrambled, apparently it was not possible to load armaments on their jets, so she and the others were told that if they could find one of the hijacked planes they and their plane was to become the missile, a mom I'll guess she was, Was fully onboard with executing the mission. Did she fear death? Our fear of death is pathological friends. (laughter). I've often wondered - I was such a hideous child all the way up through the age of 18, such a wasted, over-privileged, pampered little parasite - I've often wondered if my parents hoped I'd kill myself. They'd let me climb the highest trees and say nothing about it. They bought me a trampoline which are wonderful for breaking necks. They'd let me do all sorts of crazy things and never say anything about it. But I just figured it out. It wasn't that they hoped I'd die. They didn't fear death. They loved living. They weren't reckless, but they didn't fear death, and they never made the mistake of teaching me to fear death. I love life too much to throw it away. I love humanity, I love life, all life, but if I'm one of those cells that through apoptosis self-terminates so that the body lives on, OF COURSE! This is joy friends. This is ultimate greed. This is enlightened greed. Stop fearing death. Stop it. Unless you want to lead your children and those around you to the same insanity. Did King fear for his life? Is your life as big and joyful as his? Did Jesus fear for his life? Is your life as big and loving and joyful as his? Stop this mania friends. For your own joy, Stop it. And stop where you're leading those around you.

I care about Earth deeply but in truth, just like you, a major reason that I care about Earth is because I care about our children, and I care about our children's future. Just like you, We don't think about it - I love squirrels, I even love bugs, but like you, given the choice between saving an infant, saving a person, saving an adult, and saving a squirrel, I'm going to save the human being, just like you. We are the most clinically heart-dead society there has ever been. We have been so trained to be addicted to stuff, to lust for stuff, that our circuits for loving anything have severely atrophied. We are not going to get off our butts, we are not going to put our lives on the line, we are not going to join Death Fast to save Earth. It's not going to happen, our hearts aren't big enough. I didn't say we shouldn't, I said we're not going to. But to save our children's future? That can tap into whatever hearts we have a hundred times more powerfully, a 100,000 times more powerfully. It might not be enough, but we are definitely not going to get there by talking centrally about the Earth. And it is a totally easy re-framing. Simply: when you talk about the extinction of species, talk about it in terms of impoverishing our children's future. You care about that don't you? You care about impoverishing our children's future, don't you? When you talk about sea level rise, talk about it in terms of impoverishing our children's future. You care about that, don't you? This isn't manipulation, this is sanity in terms of - our purpose isn't to talk about these issues, our purpose is to bring about action. And the only prayer we have is to help people see what they're doing to their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, future. Unstoppably, soon, stoppable now, in 2012, if we'll do what my Father's generation did and put our bodies in the way, everything that we have, everything we are, in the way of the threat to our children's future. And our lower angels are the opposing force in this WWIII, which our lower angels have been waged with CO2, methane, coal ethanol fuel for the last 30 years, unopposed. He's in my life. He's in the lives of many people. He'll always be in his kid's lives. Jesus jumped on the grenade. He's not in anyone's life? He's in my life. He was in King's life, he was in Gandhi's life, the most central figure in Gandhi's life. It doesn't work like that friends, that we leave people's lives when we die; in fact, anyone who joins this Death Fast will go from marginally relevant in life to fundamentally relevant in the lives of their family, in the lives of their countrymen. It's irrelevant what happens to you or anyone else. Our children have no future. Our children have no future living on a lifeless planet trying to survive killer storms, working simply to survive. That is no life. Our children have no future and we are entirely able to slam dunk a future for them if some of us find that we love our children's future more than we love our current pleasures. It's irrelevant what happens to me. It's irrelevant what happens to you. What's relevant is what kind of future we give your children and the next 2,000 generations, because it's being decided in 2012, and after that the die is cast and it will be physically impossible to stop. It may be too late to stop the tundra melt, the permafrost melt, but if it's not, it's stoppable now. Now is the time to stop it. And if you're comfortable watching the deniers continue to play Russian roulette with your children's head with five bullets in the gun, what is there to say to a person like you? But if you're not, get in a car, get on mass transit, get in a train, get here to DC, Join this Death Fast, and give your children a future. Every year students, college students I believe, for decades now, have been studied for their level of empathy, and for the last 30 or more years it's gone down every year. We are becoming less human, less adaptive less viable as a species, and unless a few of us rediscover, rekindle, re-exercise our humanity, the complexity and the power of what we've unleashed on ourselves with the burning of fossil fuels will result in our hellacious, over many generations, torture, death and possible extinction. We're less than human. We're less than we were born to be. We're less than the indigenous we've exterminated from this nation, from the world, by far. We're the people that were seen in Hunger Games, in that Emerald City, the walking, hideous, dead people. That's us friends. You think that's not what the author was saying? Really? Are you going to give (totally devote) your life to lead us out of this? Or are you just going to wash your hands of it, and leave the rest of humanity to the hell and high water we've unleashed?

Six years ago was too late to save humanity from hell on Earth for the next two thousand generations. This is six years later and we've done nothing. It's 2012 or it's done friends. Oh, unless you want to play Russian roulette with your childs head with 5 bullets in the chambers. So, if you want to argue that theres a slim chance - play Russian roulette. Live it up. Go get help, get deep psychological help before you kill us all. 2012 is the year. Its entirely doable. As you know, we have all the technology, all the funding, all the social science, a roadmap - Plan B - how to get there. All we lack is enough people that love humanity more than their own life coming here and joining this Death Fast. Thats all we lack. Itll be done when enough people discover they love humanity, they love the future of their children more than they love their own life and they come and join this. For the last year and a half, we've seen people targeting what I say is the equivalent, in this WWIII, which is a war of global warming against the future of all humanity, the tar sands are the equivalent of Auschwitz. Google tracking Plan B and one of my two major sites comes up. In the middle of that page you'll see a link to the movie Tipping Point, done by CBC. It's an hour and a half, you'll find that on the Canadian site it's been blocked. But somehow I've gotten it up on youtube and its stayed. Watch it. It is unbelievable Hell. It is unbelievable insanity, and they have just begun to exploit this area of the dirtiest oil on earth, the size of Greece. 240 Gigatons of Carbon, 1.5 times more than is up there already based on my rough calculations. But going after the tar sands, as horrific as it is, is the equivalent of us seeing an earth-size, earth-killing meteor headed towards earth and the decision is made, "I know, I've got a great idea! Let's destroy 3% of that meteor!", which is roughly what the tar sands represent vs the coal reserves, the oil reserves, etc. Let's destroy three percent of that meteor! Huh? That's insanity. We have to get all CO2, all the warming gases, and we can get all them not by going after natural gas, not by going after corn ethanol, coal, oil, tar sands, deforestation. But by going after the hidden price, the 80% of the real cost that is the wreckage costs, that's being sent on to our children, invisibly, off the books, Enron style. We're paying 20% of our energy bill and sending the 80% which is the wreckage costs on to our children. We're paying 20% of our gasoline price, and we're sending 80%, which is the wreckage costs, on to our children. That's what we have to go after. Thats a totally morally defensible proposition. It is not clearly a morally defensible proposition to tell someone "You can't smoke." It's not clearly morally defensible. We can Say "I don't want you to smoke," we cant say "don't smoke." But we can say I'm not going to pay your health costs, you are. And now it's an additional $2, $3, $3.50 a pack. You're going to pay your health costs, not me and my children. That is the totally morally defensible demand of this Death Fast. "Do your tar sands. Do your coal. Have your McMansion, drive your SUV, but I'm not paying your wreckage costs, my children are not paying your wreckage costs, by what Jim Hansen and economists on the Right and Left working with him call "Fee and Dividend." $20-80a ton, add it at the well, add it at the mine, add it at the import port on any goods coming in from countries that don't have a parallel arrangement, so that all of the wreckage costs get passed on from the energy suppliers to the consumers of warming intensive products in an increasing price over 10 years, unhiding the price currently being paid by our kids in the future. So the fake cost of 7 cents/KWh becomes 14 cents, 21 cents... over the next ten years. The fake price of gas of $4 starts to move towards the real price of $16-20 and as soon as it does, "Oh! actually, if I convert 66 | P a g e

my car to run on electricity, if I get a plug-in hybrid, I can be running on the equivalent of $1 gas wind energy! Oh! I think I'll do that!" It is a slam dunk friends. It is a fools errand, it is genocide, for us to put our efforts into stopping a piece of this, to stop a forest from being destroyed, to stop deforestation, to stop corn ethanol, to stop the extinction of a species. W ere losing 25-250 species a day. We're going to devote our time to saving one species when we're about to wipe out a third to 50% of the species this century? No. We need to go after the whole meteor, not %3 of it, not 5% of it, not %1 of it, the whole meteor. And by going after two things: By going after un-hiding the wreckage fees, no longer setting them on your children over a ten-year period in time, $20-80per ton added per year, Hansen and his crew estimate that will be more than enough; And TWO: over a ten-year period, re-directing all earth-killing subsidies, the $70 billion dollars we're giving the coal and oil industry to destroy our childrens future, re -allocating that to future generating activities - The transition of our fossil fuel first-line workers over to the green energy industry, over to the green economy, keeping any companies that cannot make the switch fast enough competitive with int'l companies that don't follow a similar path to ours, and then a second tier of things I'll talk about in another video, but this is a slam dunk. Are there 1000 people in this country willing, eager, happy to pay the price of their lives to make it happen? If there are, there is once again a future other than Hell on earth, forever.

Till enough are seen dying for it, global warming won't stop. Warming gas emissions won't stop. When enough people are seen dying for it global emissions will stop. Who could be so inhumane that they wouldn't gladly be one of those bodies? Thats crazy! There are hundreds of billions of people who will be relegated to an unstoppable Hell if we don't stop this, and we absolutely will stop it when enough are seen dying for it. I've never been so joyful. I've never been so happy. All I wanted was see how to stop this, and now I see! I can't do your part but I can do mine. This is my hundred and seventeenth day of water-only (fasting) in the last 14 months. Two fifty day water-only hunger strikes last year. So, my body is not starting from a level playing field. My body chemistry is pretty messed up, organs too, even had blood work several weeks ago. I don't know the results, but I was that ill. My bodyweight wasn't particularly high to support the death-fast for very long, organs have been damaged from the last hundred days of strike in 2011, so I don't know how long I've got. I may have another 40 days. I may have another 40 hours. No one's ever been here before. It doesn't matter. When enough are seen dying for it, hundreds of billions of people will have a future. Every child today will have a future, other than wondering if their children will be lucky enough to have a life that isn't twice as hellacious as theirs. This is a no-brainer folks. This is a no-brainer. Unless someone diving on a grenade to save their buddies is not a no brainer. Unless a secret service agent diving on a bullet to protect the Pres. from a bullet is not a no brainer. Unless my parents generation were all crazy to put on uniforms to stamp down a threat to their childrens future (the Nazi threat.) No; my brothers and sisters all; anyone who isn't racing here to join this Death Fast here in DC is crazy, they've lost their humanity. "Oh, I can't because of my wife," "I can't because of my job" Go hide behind those skirts if you want to, just like my fathers generation could have, just like our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan could have. No one has partnered with this vigil but it has had kind supporters, this Death Strike. It has kind supporters for the first time in my work here in DC, all these years. My bet was that the young people in Occupy might have a shred of life, I've tried to contribute to them over the last 5 months. Theres been almost no response during those 5 months. But when I came down here with no support, expecting to talk to no one, some people have been coming down and doing press releases and bringing water and taking away liquid waste. This is it folks. If you love humanity, you come and join this Death Fast. And if you come and do it soon enough, few of us will have to die. Imagine, A thousand people if thats what it took, dying to give hundreds of billions, the next 2000 generations, a life other than Hell on Earth. MY GOD! What a cheap price! As the great Lutheran Minister Dietrich Bonheoffer said in his "Letter from Prison" before Hitler killed him for the attempted assignation, 'this is a time for simple, straight-forward men and women.' A nail with many point is useless. A knife with many edges is useless. A magnifying glass will not cause anything to ignite if it's moved from point of focus to point of focus to point of focus. Anyone that wants to initiate another action is welcome to do so! But anyone who joins this Death Fast will respond as I did when our beloved brother Thomas, a great man of Good, founder of the now 31 year or so Peace Vigil in front of the White House, they will respond as I did to him when he asked me, then a highly accomplished 53-year-old, having led a life of waging all-out unviolent high-stakes life or death war, in the computer industry and the high-tech industry, then to waging unviolent war for Darfur, Thomas asked me if I would sometime watch his vigil, and I said "no Thomas, I'm not yet qualified." And he said in later years, in essence, that I was more capable than him in every significant regard. And maybe at the time I thought I was pretty capable. But I saw I was not qualified to take over even a little bit, Thomas' vigil, because I didn't know him, I didn't know the vigil, I didn't know the history, although I had some sense of it. So I said I was honored and I'd like to cover for him, but first I had to become qualified. So I devoted weeks to absorbing online everything I could about Thomas, to observing him, to watching what was happening, so that I could bring not a different presence to the vigil, but I could embody and continue the spirit of what Thomas had started, because to dilute what was there, would be to dramatically diminish it's hopefulness. And that's how anyone joining this Death Fast must treat it. Those who join are to be here in front of the Canadian embassy 24 hours a day. They're to have signage similar to mine if not what I have here, hopefully people will collect it when I'm off to a cremation, or living 'death' in a psych ward somewhere. You can catch a glimpse of this action online. You can find pictures online, I'm sure a number of people have taken photos and shot videos. Those joining will be solemn, respectful. They will not be trying to meet and greet and gather the attention of everyone that passes. It will be the spirit of the stand. It will be 100% what Gandhi called soul-force which is better called heart-force, better understood as heartforce. Those who join will have studied all of these videos and come to deeply understand them. Again, anyone foolish enough to think that in nine months we have time to start some other effort- Well, we don't, you'd just be killing time, the one resource we are out of now. Of course you're at liberty to do what you want. But if you join this Death Fast, which is the only sane thing for anyone on the planet to do, then you will adhere to the spirit and the conduct that's here. So instead of a nail with many points it will be a nail with one sharp point, that much better able to penetrate. It will be bunker-busters not landing on multiple targets, but following each one upon the other to burrow deeper and deeper and deeper. It will be a knife not with multiple edges, but with one edge that's kept sharp, that penetrates deeper and deeper and deeper. And it is to be made as part of one's cell structure as I have made it part of my cell structure. B03: Leadership - The holding, spreading, maintaining and channeling of Creative Tension.

[RIHUWY-PT] We're taught to run from tension, in this society, aren't we? Tension is bad! There is such a thing as destructive tension, anxiety, too much stress. But, Dr. King, the first reference I've seen with the notion of creative tension, said nothing positive happens without creative tension. A young doctor is on a country road and she comes over the top of a hill and sees splayed out in front of her a horrific airliner crash, bodies lying all over the field. She's instantly infused with creative tension - a horrible situation on the one hand and the awareness that she has the skills to ameliorate some of that suffering on the other. And were she a coward, she would flee the scene, but she became a doctor to help humanity. So instead, she embraces that creative tension and that's the energy that drives her to sheroic, ceaseless, courageous, effective, brilliant, inspired effort, and results. Rather than turning away from, looking at the horrific treatment by society of people who looked like him, Dr. King and those working with him turned to squarely face the horror of what was being done and in doing so thy caused the creative tension - of the horror, on the one hand, and the remedy - techniques they begin to learn and re-learn from Gandhi, from Jesus, from other sources of wisdom, on the other. They began, they refused to not have an answer, they refused to not be an answer, and by, on the one hand, turning and facing the horror, turning and running toward the emergency, their nervous system mobilized and they began to see how they could stop it, and they became volcanoes of creative tension. And by holding that, and maintaining that tension within themselves, those in their circle with any humanity at all began to be infected by the same creative tension and a level of humanity and creativity and contribution and output and courage and perseverance that the world has rarely seen, was the consequence, was unleashed. And so was the cycle of the young people into Tahrir Square, in Egypt, that unlike their parents who for 30 or 60 years had turned away from the horror, they turned and faced it, and began to develop the other pole of creative tension which is - here's how we can fight it, here's how we could win it, and maintain that creative tension. And the whole world became infected with it to a degree, and came into solidarity. The function of a leader is to cause that creative tension to build and be maintained within themselves, and to channel it, and thereby to help build, maintain it in others and to channel it in others. So says Dr. King. So says MITs Peter Senge, The Fifth Discipline, So says any honest experience you have had of such creative tension, and where it came from. The individual and the group holding within themselves, squarely facing the horror on the one hand of the current circumstance, and the divine joy of, the relief for totally ameliorating horror, they could bring about, in the other. Holding, maintaining, channeling Creative Tension is the stuff of miracles; the stuff of True Leadership, INSHE Warriors. This is the stuff of the divine, this is the stuff of our highest humanity, this is what would save the future of all humanity in a relative walk, effort wise, versus World War II, and a relative 'walk' technological development wise versus the moonshot. Leadership is the creation, first in oneself and then spreading to others and the maintaining and channeling of creative tension. Leadership is not subordination of others, domination of others, exploitation of others. It's what Jesus said - 'The greatest among you is the greatest servant all.' Being the first or among the first to turn and face the horror, the emergency of others, and to begin to figure out the solution is the greatest service that one human being can provide to another. Sometimes it's lonely, no, it's almost always lonely, sometimes you get crucified for it. Sometimes you get abandoned for a long time. But if you align yourself with the truth of the human need, facing the horror, your nervous system will begin to figure out what to do. The creative tension in you will build. million in this society that still has substantial human health comes by you, they will begin to be infected. There has never been another way to bring massive change to humanity. Its how the human nervous system, individual and collective works, when it works miracles. That's the path. Get on with it ,for the joy of it. For the life of it. For the life, for the future of 200 billion of our brothers and sisters, including your own children.

In proving this weapon we can bring it to other causes. This Death Fast calls for itself to be number one of at least four. And the fourth wave among others to focus on is the human rights of indigenous, but first we need to prove the weapon - Death Fasts. If there remains one warrior among you, you must get to DC and join this Death Fasts, unless you're in another country around the world, in which case you need to appropriately mount the Death Fasts in your own country. Aren't you tired of surrender? Are you tired of moaning, complaining, whining, begging are you tired? Someone among you must be tired. There must be a warrior left, there must be a warrior left in many of you. It is time to find it. The woman who heard gunfire on the street of New York this year, and placed her body as a shield for a girl I think she didn't know; was she a bad model of what it means to be alive? The cell that faithfully follows the instructions of its DNA instead of succumbing to its own desires and becoming cancer; is that foolish? The heart that for ninety years never misses a beat, selflessly serving the body; is that silliness? There's no evidence to suggest that we're some evolutionary leap away from that. 'Whoever would hold on to their life will lose it. Whoever would give up their life will win it,' Jesus taught, and lived. Who was more alive....Dr. King, standing up and speaking against the Vietnam war, being assassinated a year later, knowing it was putting another crosshairs on his chest, or the millions hiding behind their beloved uncertainty and not speaking up? Who is more alive? To paraphrase Dr. King with liberties, but I'm sure he would approve, "A person is not living, a person is not loving, a person is not fighting, a person's life is worthless who is not dying for, who is not giving their life for, the neediest of our populations,' that right now are the two-thousand generations that our apathy and our cowardice are condemning to hell on Earth. Was he wrong? In that same talk or sermon he said that, he went on to say "Somewhere in our life we're each going to receive a call from that still small voice within, (to use Gandhi's term) to put our life on the line and if we say no to that call we may live another fifty years, we may live until we're ninety, but we died on the day that we said no to that call. If you still have a heart, if you search your heart, you will know that he was correct And what's infinitely more important than your own life, is the fact that you cannot escape leading others with your own life. It's inescapable. The only choice you have is what direction you will lead others and to what degree. If you've been dead, if you've been spending your life, as I spent almost all of my life, turning away from the call, now is the time to turn toward it. Toward Life. Life is found in racing toward the emergency, no place else. It's found in dealing with the emergency of our fellow human beings, no place else. Think of those around you, think of your children. Think of your children's children. Think of your nieces and nephews. Think of your spouse, your partner. Are you going to continue to lead them to living Death? The Death that Jesus gave his life to save us from, to show us how to save ourselves from, teachings we've been ignoring and distorting for 1800 years? Are you really going to continue to embrace that Death and lead everyone you care about toward that same Death? Or are you going to choose a different path? You are not living, you are not fighting, if you are not dying for our global neediest, during a day, spread over forty days, spread over eighty years. Teresa of Calcutta was dying for decades to self (though to her is was Joy) to save her brothers and sisters ... in Calcutta. She was dying for that, every breath, every fiber of her being, everything she had. Will you continue to submit to Death and lead others to it, or will you stand now for Life and lead your loved ones to it? This was the choice that Jesus gave, reminded us of, this was the choice that Gandhi and King died to remind us of. This is Life, this is heaven, this is nirvana, this is total peace of heart, and if you don't lead those around you in that direction, it's very simple, you are leading them away from heaven, the only one there is, the only nirvana, the only peace of heart, the only joy here, now. 75 | P a g e

Brian, maybe. The marchers on the salt works in India, Steven Biko and the dozens like them who totally waged their lives against the violence of the apartheid regime in S Africa. The Jews that are placing their bodies between massively sub-human Israeli settlers, rapers and plunderers all, thieves, thugs, and their brothers and sisters the Palestinian farmers, the targets of the thugs. The Buddhist monks in Tibet self-immolating, the Buddhist Monks who so heroically stood up for their population about a year and a half ago in Myanmar. The revolutionaries in Tahrir square who said 'kill me if you want, torture me if you want imprison me if you want, but Im not sitting down." Those are activists; nothing less is. "But Loving, there are thousands of activists in this country, there are thousands, certainly hundreds in this city, DC"- NO; there are, my brothers and sisters all, hacktivists, yacktivists, activists, whacktivists.. They're accountable to who? History? Those in history that through unviolent warfare have achieved things? No. They're not accountable to the greats in history, and in no way do they measure themselves to them. Those icons were accountable for results, today's hacktivists that call themselves activists? No, the fastest way to either clear a room or make yourself entirely totally unwelcome among today's 'activists' is to talk about accountability. How are we actually going to win this? How are we actually going to take personal responsibility for this stopping? You want to make yourself totally persona non grata in Republican circle? Tell them you think that global warming is real. Want to make yourself totally persona non grata among 'activists' in 2012? Tell them that you want to take personal responsibility, not for opposing environmental genocide, but for actually stopping it in 2012. If anything ever brings them alive they will be among the most happy on Earth, it's a living death that they're in but there are no 'activists,' Diane Wilson is the one I know personally and by name, and I've named others above, living and dead, whose names I don't know. Those are activists. And then there are a few that may be emerging in Occupy DC, and theres Hope, but it is too soon to be sure. We know what a Marine looks like, we know what a brain surgeon looks like, we know what an Olympic runner looks like. I've reminded you what a real, potent activist looks like. It would seem that they saw everyone besides themselves, the so-called perpetrators, as irrelevant to getting out of their plight. In the debates between McCain and Pres. Obama, they were both asked the question - if Dr. King were alive today who would he be campaigning for? I don't know McCain's answer, who cares what he says on anything? But Pr. Obama said - Dr. King wouldn't be campaigning for anyone. He would be out mobilizing the grassroots. Einstein said, this is a paraphrase - 'the problem is not the bad people. There will always be bad people. The problem is people that don't stand up and stop the evil ones.' Dr. King said something near identical my problem is not the violent racists. My problem is the good people that will not stand up and fight long enough, hard enough, courageously enough, unviolently to bring about whats right. And yet the left in this country religiously treats one group in this country as though it is irrelevant, as blameless, not worth pointing a finger at, inappropriate to inspire, and rise up. When the left looks back in history, it's quite different, but today, they say Obama has the power, Congress has the power, the corporations have the power, those on the political right have the power. This is suicide. This is total, unilateral surrender. And now with global Armageddon, environmental Armageddon, it's Genocide. It's so morally and intellectually bankrupt, it defies comprehension, but it doesn't succeed in defying the rules of nature, denying the rules of nature, the laws of nature in this country. 300 billion people can't be made to do anything that they don't want, they can't be made to accept anything that they don't want. All hope is lost until this criminal cowardice, insanity on the left, changes. All hope is lost until those who would bring change see the power looking back at them in the mirror each morning, and no place else, because that's where it is. And when a small group of catalysts begins to do that, then others will begin to wake up. There are no innocents here. The lunatics on the right, our brothers and sisters, the most addicted to, in the case of environmental Armageddon, the expected $20-80 trillion in killing, fuel reserves, will soon finish the job of destroying life earth. They're sick, friends, they're Affloholic, they are clinically sick. So if you would go and argue with your alcoholic uncle for the 15th time, to try and get him to stop drinking, or stop beating his children, you're a fool, the word that Dietrich Bonhoeffer used to describe the insanity in his 1943 Germany. Addiction doesn't work that way, conversation after conversation only kills time, and people. Recovering sanity requires shocking intervention. Required is mustering evidence so shocking to the nervous system. This is your work. Everything else is intellectual masturbation, killing time, with no hope of producing anything except now certain environmental Armageddon. There are no innocents here. Most complicit are the in the same way insane, left and center. Particularly the center, the most sane of us all - pain, honest, hardworking folks. This is discussed elsewhere. Loving, has lived that for 12, 13 years now, it seems . But that video on the incompatibility of fear of death and living, fighting unviolently, represents an evolution in my understanding - I've been aware of Gandhi's obsession with eliminating all fear from himself of death but I didn't fully grasp it, and in that video, essay I shared, I get it now. I get it now. There is an incompatibility - the degree to which we fear death is the degree to which we cannot love, and loving, is living, and warring unviolently, from a neurological standpoint. Another evolution in my understanding is this clarity which stems from what I just discussed, which stems from that other video, essay. In this sickest of all societies, clinically, as hostile to the healthy human nervous system as is the Matrix, if not more so, it's so natural to fear death, isn't it? It's so central, our fear, so right, so normal. We're moving toward 20% of GNP being spent on healthcare, just to avoid death. Sick. But we're confronted with a choice. It's a choice that we have been dodging for forever. Jesus died to make us confront the choice. Jesus died to save us, to give us the opportunity to make the choice. Gandhi did the same, King did the same. They clearly didn't fear death. This isn't about a pure academic argument, was there any cell in their body that had a fear death? Of course. Was there the capacity within them to fear death? Of course. But that doesn't mean they lived it. We choose to live it, they chose to not live it. Fearing death is absolutely central to our being in this society. By no stretch was it central to their being Kings, Gandhis, the other potent activists. The fear of other people suffering and dying was central to their being. This is the same way of the cells in your body, this is the way of every organ in your body. It isn't the way of cancer; it is exactly the opposite of the way cancer which it seems, fears its own death, and has no concerns for the body, except to consume it; to rape and plunder it, not out of malice, but out of not caring about the body. Was Jesus a fool? Was he trying to lead us someplace that we really shouldn't go? We wouldn't be more joyful to go? He called it heaven. Gandhi beckoned us all there. King beckoned us all there. Was it really just for liberation of India in Gandhi's case, and civil rights in Dr. King's case? Not unless they were lying to us. No, their objective was much higher than that. Gandhi ended his life feeling a great failure because he liberated India and did not liberate India from the fear of death. It can be said different ways, but that's what he considered to be his essential failure. King, was clear that his life was dedicated to the Dream. Is this some empty principle that Gandhi felt or was it at the heart of a brother that hated to see the living death of his brothers and sisters, because fearing death is to live death, to be lived by death, is to be a slave to death, is to be a slave to death, is to be the servant of death. To center one's life around a big enough house, a big enough bank account, a big enough separation from one's neighbors, big enough weapons, big enough police force.... And this is how we spend our lives, this is how I spent my life from the time I was born in filthy overprivileged till I left the filthy overprivileged 14 years ago. Clinically filthy in way too much alcohol as clinically filthy, the way any amount of crack is clinically filthy. These weren't fools friends. These were the few people that have retained human health and joy that goes with it. It so happens that if what Jesus might have called the second coming of Christ, the mass coming of love to our hearts, Christ being the spirit of love; if that doesn't happen now, we are not gunna 80 | P a g e

stop global warming. And Gaia, the Creator, mother Earth, will exterminate us. That's the choice. Will you kill your kids, your grandkids and great grandkids with denial, out of fear, or is it time to embrace what virtually every great, even mediocre - author, moviemaker, painter, religious leader of repute, of sanity, the few of them, and the few great psychologists - Frankel, and Adler most notably, secondarily Maslow, Rogers and Csikszentmihalyi, - have all tried to tell us? I am the most focused individual you'll ever meet. Long ago I learned that when we choose to do something, when we choose to know something, when we choose to pay attention to something, we've chosen many things not to know, because we're finite creatures, we only have so much time. What I've chosen to know throughout my life, is how to develop new things, develop new businesses, develop new products, bring new concepts to market, turn around failing situations, organizations, win against impossible odds, NOW. This is what I've done my entire life, with significant success. My point is that there are few people that know this, and it's vital that on some significant aspects, others get up to speed immediately, because we don't have time to keep going through the same learning curve over and over again. And we don't have time to make the mistakes that otherwise will occur. It seems to me this is the way to introduce the subject - Lewis and Clark waited until they had a perfect map before they embarked on their journey west, right? They knew how to get there, they had a perfect plan on what to bring, how long it would take, what to pack, how to get back, what they would find.... And of course, they had none of those things, did they? No new venture ever does, especially - Averting climate Armageddon, stopping global warming, now, using 21st century Unviolent warfare techniques. These are all new things. Anyone looking for perfection, anyone looking for clarity, anyone looking for arguments and knowledge that's bullet proof, please wake up, or please get out-of-the-way. I love you. You're my brothers and sisters all, these are times for people of courage. To speak of those without courage, it's not derogatory to say so of them; someone without a healthy body, it's not derogatory to say so. It's a fact that can be verified our otherwise. From a standing start, in less than 12 months for WWII, the entire US economy had switched from peacetime manufacturing to wartime manufacturing producing something like a quarter million planes, tanks, vehicles, ships. It was messy folks. It was constant inventing, it was constant errors, and it was constant learning, fast enough so that the job got done. And it got done well. It was not for the faint of heart. This is new venture development. Anyone that's going to embark on saving the future of the next 2000 generations, 200 billion people, this is not for the faint of heart. This is for the Lewis and Clark's, and their first, second and third waves of joiners. This kind of creativity is necessary. This kind of vision is necessary. Finding the effective truths of how to get this done, not the esoterics, but what's it going to take to get the job done. There's never been such an opportunity to be alive. There's never been such an important human opportunity. This is a banquet friends, but it is not for the faint of heart. And for God sakes, if you find yourself in conversation with someone, and you're trying and someone is nit picking with you about, 'Oh, you don't know this part right, you dont know that part right,' immediately try to discern if there's a shred of humanity in them. If there's a shred of truth seeking in them. In all likelihood there's not. If there is, give it a quick shot but otherwise you just have to move on. We've gotta find the people of courage like the ones that in less than a year, totally redirected the US economy in World War II. yet. They frighten easily and when they get frightened, they nay say, and they bash, and they try to kill, and almost always do so, because otherwise their self-image is at stake. I'm not being derogatory. This is how works. Don't try to include everyone. Have an eye toward the courageous, and until there is such a core of pioneers and early adapters, DONT PASS GO. I don't know what the population was at the time of Lewis and Clark. But it was a miniscule amount of people that followed them on the second and third waves out to California, that followed their path. But they became the path-blazers. They became the evidence, the facts-on-the-ground that then unleashed the masses, and so it was with the women suffragists. So too with the ultimately 400, only 400 Freedom Riders, first just 30, and that unleashed 400, and that was the match that ignited millions . Don't go for the masses, you don't want the masses early on, they'll kill this. You don't want them early. You're looking for the one million, the Lewis and Clark, the pioneer, early adapter, someone with courage, the ones with vision. They're the spark plug, they're the initial ignition, they're the match. Get that going, and then begin to add those with less vision and courage. Don't get sucked into arguments within your own head, or with others - Oh, this isn't perfect, Oh, you're not ready. You know what? This is World War III. We've been waging it, our lower angels have been waging it on our children, unopposed, for 30 years now. It may be too late to turn it around now. There's not a second to be wasted on people that don't summon the courage, don't summon the vision, don't summon the wisdom, don't summon the sanity to realize where we are and that perfection is irrelevant. Being ready is irrelevant. Getting the job done is relevant. Lewis and Clark didn't wait until they had a map. They didn't wait till they knew what to bring, how long it would take, what to wear. They saw an opportunity, and they went. That's how all new opportunities develop. And saving 200 billion people, starting with our children, is a new opportunity, no one's been here before. Is it easy, that blog? One of the two great books on psychology, Alfred Adler's Individual psychology is only 600 pages, but it took me weeks to read, the slowest read I've ever had, because it is at the same time so elegantly simple, and so infinitely deep. It wasn't easy, but in weeks, I was able to get the essence of a lifelong brilliant learning, Adler's. My mastery of Gandhi, my mastery of King, were they easy? Not easy enough that there are more than 1 in a million who have done the same reading, so deeply, that it becomes part of their DNA. No the Start Loving blog is not easy, but if lightning struck me, I have been aware of this for a long time, if lightning struck me and wiped out everything I know, I could spend another 30, 40 years reconstructing myself, with all the reading, all the study, all the experience... or, I could reboot myself in months at the Start Loving blog. But Loving, you'll be dead. Really? Gandhi's not dead, he's alive in me. Martin Luther King's not dead, he's alive in me. Jesus isn't dead, he's alive in me. And not to suggest I'm the only one in whom they're alive, but there aren't more than 1 in a million of us in whom they are really alive, because there aren't more than 1 million of us who turn off the TV, the parties, the distractions, the intoxicationsand other garbage long enough, to devote themselves to working these great wisdoms and learnings into their cellular structure. Not as robots, not as scripts, but as deep, empowering, essential understanding of who these people were, what they learned, profiting from what they knew, and what they had chosen to become. So if Lovings dead, Gandhi, King, Jesus are dead, if their voice is silent, that's your choice, you chose that. Because Jesus didn't go silent when crucified. King didn't go dead when shot. Gandhi didn't go dead. We are all immortal. It's inescapable. We all live on. It's inescapable, as has just been described of King, Gandhi and Jesus. The question is, whether what lives on is constructive for humanity or destructive. Is it of the Creator, or is it of the destroyer. Does it serve the Creator, or does it serve the Destroyer. Loving serves the Creator. Credit be mine? Credit to the Creator. The only credit I deserve is to be reviled for taking to so long to have my gifts blossom. But I am near unique in being a Gandhi-esque, a King-esque, a Jesus-esque repository today. There may be many others. I hope there are millions. I don't see any, my brothers and sisters all, excepting Diane, Hope, and maybe the emerging, Brian, and I hope, John.... So if you let my voice stay dead, because it's been dead, I've been so marginalized, so ignored. It's been dead. Now that I've announced my death, some people are starting to listen, it's for the first time a tiny bit hopeful. But if you let my voice die, if you let me die, you've made a terrible choice for yourself. You've made a terrible choice for humanity. For God sakes don't make that choice. That's my family. I'm brother and sister to all, I love all, but my Family, those with whom I am kin, are those waging their lives for our global neediest, that's with whom I identify, that's with whom I feel a kinship, that's with whom I feel a common bond of species. I love all, but my family is those waging their lives, their very being, their every breath, for the well-being of humanity. For Loving, I have two, and probably three, maybe four in my life immediately. My sister SC wages a much more private war for humanity, but it includes being the one person since my radical rebirth that has been an unshakable rock and support since the beginning, literally saving my life on one or more occasions. And my sister in Christ, Hope, who though hearing a very different kind of call than I, more and more completely is a fearless warrior for the victory of global Love over the greed, the fear, the hatred that is in the final stages of killing us. Diane Wilson, who through my abrasiveness, orneriness, stubbornness, aggressiveness I push away from time to time, but even were our relationship to end, shed still be my family because the entire world is her family. Brian, of Occupy DC, the brightest hope Ive seen in DC these long 8 years or so. And John, and Louise with Occupy DC. Will they make it? I pray, for them, fo r us all. Im deeply admiring of their efforts, and full of prayer that they prevail. And others in Occupy DC Johnny, Jesse. And maybe, hopefully, there are others emerging, but it is far from clear to me. But I pray, and use my final hours to be a prayer that they make it. Were doomed unless they and those like them make it. And these people that are my Family, my Kin are your true Family. They wage their lives, they wage their very being, for you. That's family. As a youth, the man Jesus who Loving has always loved, my brain exploded with his speaking to those who said 'Your Mother and your brothers outside are outside', to which Jesus responded ,"My mother and my brothers are those who do the Creator's will." But he was right, of course. Jesus was virtually always correct. Our family, yours and mine, are those that truly love us and love is seen nowhere except in what we do, and those who truly love us are waging every breath, their entire being, their entire life against the needless suffering, against the horrors, and in this case against the impending environmental Armageddon for the next 2,000 generations. The one, longest and clearest member in my family, in my 86 | P a g e

life, is my beloved sister SC who has been unfailingly supportive of my work, agreeing with it sometimes disagreeing, but unfailingly, courageously supportive of my work these last 13 years and has literally nourished me back to life on at least one and maybe multiple occasions. What a gift she is, what a joy she is. My long lost fianc, who now fights as best she knows for decency and sanity in the world. The numbers may grow. Jesus' Family was zero, except for Mary as near as we can tell, while he lived; there was no one standing with Jesus, there was no one waging their life for the wellbeing of humanity. That happened after his death. Since the beginning of this Death Fast, for the first time in Lovings eight years or so in DC, I've begun to see some people possibly moving in the direction of waging their being for the well-being of humanity, and if and when that happens, although they're my brothers and sisters all, the size of my Family may increase. That's not my goal, but that would be a joy, and the greatest possible Hope for humanity. In a way it is my goal, because waging one's life for the well-being of others, which is such a rarity in this society, it's not a rarity among the cells in your body. It's not a rarity among the organs in your body, it's what life does. We're so corrupt, and so fallen that we've stopped being family to one another. We have become subhuman. Our religion is to be sub-human, less than human predators, well dressed beasts. So in a way our salvation will only come as we start to become really Family to one another, but in my life, although I see those hovering, I see those wondering, it remains to be seen whether they're the seed on the path, on the stone, among the thorns, or on good Earth. Time will tell. My love doesn't change whether someone's my Family or not. My love for them doesn't change. But what they are changes. And those who are Family are fully alive. Those who are not are fully dead, first to themselves, and then to others. And Jesus gave his life to bring us to Life. And he told us to love as he loved, and that's been my choice, to learn to do that. And thank the Creator I've listened to Him, and thank the Creator I've made progress, because if you're wise you will envy every aspect of my life, you will envy every aspect of my joy, just as I always embraced and envied that of Jesus and King and Gandhi, and my dad, and I was right. And I moved myself in that direction, and I'm now in heaven on Earth. I believe in none other. And now the Personal Trainer is yours. Use it? And of you love your children, or your nieces and nephews, and your grandkids, you'll move yourself in the same direction and you'll do it now. And the creator has given us one last set of heart-paddles to restart our cold, dead hearts. And that's the Truth of the Armageddon were about to make unstoppable; that in 2012 we will decide whether the next 2,000 generations are living in hell or moving in the direction of heaven. C02: May 11 2012 - Instructions upon my death.

My refusal of all resuscitation, life-support, is on me. I'm marked on both arms clearly that I'm not to be resuscitated. Till enough are seeing dying for it global warming won't stop. I'm diving on that grenade. But it is quite evident that despite whatever paperwork, the Secret Service would have me resuscitated, so in the absence of some other place to die, Ill wander into the woods when it is time. When my death occurs as there may be a service as discussed below, if anyone wishes. I have two prized possessions - my most prized a belt that I have on. It was given me by my brother Kevin in the Secret Service, the only person in DC that was horrified to see me for more than a year wearing duct tape as my belt. He gave me the belt that he wore as a Marine on duty in the Middle East. I think Kevin could've stopped and got me a $10 belt someplace. Meeting him, knowing him, was one of the great honors and joys of my life. It is sacred that belt, and is to be returned to him. The boots I wear, having been able to afford only sandals, sandals worn out in recent years, including in the wintertime, including when it's raining, and putting heavy plastic bags over them, is what my brother Matt in the Secret Service saw only several weeks ago as I sat in front of the Canadian Embassy in the rain. 'Don't you have boots,' Matt asked in horror? I said no, 'you will have boots,' and I'm now wearing his Secret Service issue boots. He's on the weekday patrol of the Canadian Embassy and the boots are to be returned to him. My Bible and my crucifix the crucifix - my Bible is to be given to my sister, Beverly, proprietor of Relax the Back store in Wilmington, Delaware. My crucifix is to go to my sister Hope, from California. If anyone wants to I'm to be cremated. There's to be no expense, and if by some odd chance, Beverly or Hope wants the ashes, they are to go to them, otherwise, the dumpster is fine. A service under the direction of my Family members (see video/essay) - Hope, John, Brian and Beverly would be fine if you wish. It would not be in anything that calls itself a house of worship. There is no one that officially would speak that would represent any religion, though they could be members thereof. What would be read would be my learnings from the blog start loving, that are now my teachings, and nothing else would be read. People if they wanted, of course could speak from the audience whatever they want to say. There would be no expense of any kind. 4 billion of our brothers and sisters live on four dollars a day or less. Any service would be in a field, or warehouse, or park with zero expense. Thanks to the kindness of Jesse I'm now equipped with cell phone. Before I wander to the woods I expect to place an emergency call so that the goods I still possess can be secured. I'll soon be labeling everything 'Property of John and Brian at Occupy DC' in the event they need to be secured from the police. I have mostly long johns, warm clothes, sleeping bags... in the suitcase. It's in pretty good shape. The signs can be collected. I've given away everything else to the few Family members I have computers and stuff to Brian and John, funds to them, Hope and Diane for their work. My friends at Occupy can distribute the stuff in the suitcase, etc, how they like for their work.

I'm being called to be the tip of the spear which I'm joyfully doing. This clarity came when my beloved brother, in charge of day operations of the Secret Service at the White House, about four nights ago, was looking at my blog, and became aware of this Death Fast, and was horrified, and came racing over after his shift, hoping to talk me out of what I was doing, knowing that he wouldn't be able to. I showed and my do not resuscitate living will, a well-formulated legal document, cutting and pasting what I found on the web for DC, I showed him the instructions on my arm, I showed him the documents in my pocket. He, as well as most of the Secret Service I know, I love them dearly, and they love me dearly, or they're really good actors. He said, 'Loving, I'm not going to let you die, it's not in my DNA to do so. It's not what I do. In essence, he said sue me, if you want to. I'm not going to let you die. Until enough are seen dying for it, global warming won't stop. Some associates here in town may follow through, I suspect will follow through in their attempt to see if we can get an injunction to strengthen the Living Will, so that I will be allowed to die here. So that could change what I'm saying here. But it is unlikely that will happen, in which case, so that my death can be achieved, so that I can be the tip of the spear, either someone needs to find that they love humanity enough, to support this campaign and give me a place to die, as the time gets near, or I'll need to wander into the woods which will be a major distraction from the campaign. A media circus, who knows how many weeks before they will find me. If you know anyone that loves humanity that much, you might want to let me know. Associates may also follow through on what they said they'd attempt, to get clarity on what if any legal risk would be incurred by someone offering me a place to die. But this is war, friends, this is not business as usual, for me and for anyone that loves humanity enough. It's not time to play. It's not time to seek business as usual safety. C04: 6 hr ER Visit, painful, but I'm restored.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fS2bbjAEkkA Thanks to the unbelievable kindness and concern of people that come into my circle recently, or with whom I've come in the circle, I was taken to the emergency room at GW Hospital at 8 or so last night, having for more than 24 hours been unable to urinate. Whether it was research on the web, or talking to a series of kind medics to do with Occupy, it looked like one of three things: Kidney stone, kidney damage, bladder infection. Kindness such as I haven't seen, love such as I haven't seen in a long long time, many years, these young, people most for all from DC Occupy, just totally mobilized, incredibly intelligent, very well informed, thought through for me and helped me follow along, what should be done quickly, if certain markers didn't happen, then tomorrow night, last night, I would go to the ER, the markers weren't past, I was taken by cab lovingly to the ER. The waiting room was quite full. Various fight wounds, people looking in terrible shape. I thought, they'll see me as an out-patient, they'll do some blood-work, give me some pills, and off I'd go. The triage nurse who saw us after being there 15 min, as she sees all incoming patients, she indicated about the same - yup, you be in the waiting room, we'll give you some stuff, you'll be gone in a couple of hours. Not 10 min. later I was called, and not 5 min. after that my clothes were off, I had a gown on, and they were starting to stick stuff in me. So apparently something in the vitals that the triage nurse took, scared the dickens out of her. During the course of six hours they pumped all kinds of potassium and magnesium and fluid in me. But no calories, at my request, which they honored. It turns out that it was severe by dehydration; that too can shut down urinary function, l and mine was shut down completely. By the end of six hours things were working again. Don't ever let your potassium get low because potassium given IV is about as comfortable as having a tank run over your arm for the hour or so that they're feeding the stuff in your body. It was really agony. I was twitching in pain, and I have a pretty high pain threshold. They also gave me some potassium orally, and that scared the hell out of them because my blood pressure and heart rate instantly drop down out of nowhere but the stabilized me. Extremely interesting wrinkle. I was very clear so that they had the history of this being my hundred and 21st day hunger strike in the last 14 months, but the 21st day of this death strike, I was free to share them details including the fact that I was on a Death Fast, but that I was finishing a book and would they please stabilized me so that I could finish the book; no calories, unless they insisted it was necessary, and they didn't. But they asked if they could stabilize my blood chemistry and I saw no problem with that and I certainly needed to get bladder functioning going to complete the book, so that's what happened. They were incredibly kind, and competent. They pumped all kinds of fluid in me. But I'm telling them my story, and being trained in psychology at the Masters level myself, I could've thought, but it wasn't my business, 'wait a minute, when they hear that they've got a guy that's expecting to have his life terminate, somewhat do to his own action, that's red flags all over the place.' They don't have the right to keep that quiet. And sure enough before the evening was out, in the early-morning the psychologist was grilling me, in a not inappropriate way. She was better than most that I've seen, and it was very clear that she was under pressure by the Psych Wing to get me up there. But in essence, over the course of the 20 min. she was asking me questions and thoughtfully listening, I said, listen, if the women that got you the right to vote by putting their bodies totally in harms way on hunger strike, force fed, in prison 20 miles south of here. If they're crazy, I'm crazy. If the woman that shielded a girl she didn't know in New York City recently when she heard gunfire and it cost her life. If she's crazy, I'm crazy. There was a lot more to it than that but after we spoke, Jesse, Brian's girlfriend, of Occupy DC, 90 | P a g e

who has been a great friend of the Death Fast, Jesse was with me all night, God bless her heart, very helpful, very smart, very solicitous. When the psych Dr. left the room asked Jesse if she could speak to her, clearly she was saying, 'What's your take on this guy?' It was clear to me this issue which I hadn't thought of but could have that probably I wasn't getting to get out of there. But I did. If you've not seen the must-see movie Iron Jawed Angels, watch it, and you'll see the similar situation. Alice Paul; you'll know exactly what I went through. I think it was a great learning experience for me and I hope great learning experience for the psych dept. at the hospital. It was very concerned, but respectfully so, with what I was doing, and with this psych wing. It was quite an evening. The love and the basic decency of many of these Occupy DC folks came clear to me, even above what I've seen so far and that was a rare, valuable gift. I am deeply touched and deeply grateful to all including my beloved sister SC, who provided advice and direction. So, I was probably taking less than half of the water I needed to be taking. I believe I've learned that lesson, won't make that mistake again. Any of you that are fasting or on hunger strike in the future, if you're anywhere near my bodyweight probably 140 pounds now, 3 liters a day is what you should be targeting in relatively small sips, big gulps just pass right through.

C05: Loving's last requests

I'm not above invoking a little guilt relative to me, relative your future, relative your children's future. And I'm perfectly used to being ignored, I have much more practice at that than being paid attention to. That's the truth of it friends. So it's up to you, but by our Creator I'm going to take these two weeks I have left to take my last shot to serve you, to get through to you a bit. My major priorities in the weeks I have left on this planet are 1. to blaze the trail of the Death Fast, the next-generation bunker buster for Unviolent warfare, the next generation nuclear weapon for unviolent warfare. The only weapon that is going to bring corporations back from the brink of destroying us all. The only weapon that can avert climate Armageddon, the only weapon that can bring indigenous rights, economic justice from the developed to developing countries. Developed countries were the ones that wrecked the environment, but we're telling the developing ones to pay their share of our wreckage costs. Huh? So number one is test piloting that weapon, Death Fast, and it'll be a fatal mission for me, but if there's to be life on this planet, it's that weapon that will get that life. It must be demonstrated. Now. My second priority is to finish a book that I'm working on, That's my biggest plea to you all. That's my major point of pressure and guilt here. Heads up. God willing, in about a week's time, I'll be sending a draft of this book. A compilation of essays. Probably a 10 hour read. Quickly, I'll need your comments. I need you to know what I have to say. I need your top level comments, suggestions, corrections. I won't chase you down. When it is ready, I'll send it to you. I'll expect no response because from most I usually get none. To those that have been kind and supportive here in DC, this effort desperately needs two things: 1. Press coverage - it needs media coming down here to interview. And 2. it needs electricity. It needs a team effort so I can be sure that someone will pick up the two computers I use 13 hours per day, to charge them, and return them by 8 am the next morning, without continuing to leave all the pressure on John's already too burdened shoulders. [RIHUWY-PT] I have huge admiration for Navy SEALs, but I don't think I'd want to travel with them. I'd get crushed, I'd get killed. It's not what I am; its not what Ive made of myself. Maybe I should've been. But it's not what I am, and it's the wrong crowd for me to hang with. It's the wrong individual for me to hang with. So, is there something wrong with the Navy SEALs, that actually almost none of us would be wise to hang with them? I don't think so. I thank God for them. To provide a unique service, they're different. I don't want them to change so they'd be easier for me to be around. I don't want them to change, so I can feel safe, and similarly competent around them. I want them to be what they are and if I were at a different time in life and I wanted to be with them I wouldn't want them to come to my level of competence, I would want to come to theirs. I have aspired to, because it's needed of me, the equivalent of a Navy SEAL, or Marine, of Unviolent warfare. It was clear to me I had the aptitude; it was clear to me that if I set my heart to it, I should be able to achieve it, and I have. It makes a lot of people uncomfortable. The DC activist club has been delighted to show that discomfort in totally ostracizing Loving, totally banning him, and now the environmental movement is doing the same. With few exceptions - hopeless cowards, protecting their club rather than protecting their clients. Hopeless cowards, my brothers and sisters all. Many would tolerate me if I would change, and be like them, like the others in their club. I do not have the competence of a Marine or of a Navy seal. I don't want them to come to my level. I want to go to theirs. And if I wanted them to come to my level of competence they would ignore me, they would keep on, as a duty to me, as a duty to us, as a duty to humankind, as a duty to themselves, and so it is with me now, and unviolent warrior. Now, I wonder if there's been a time, there probably has been an occasion where the SEALs thoughtlessly or cruelly asked people to associate with them that weren't up to it, and they got hurt, they got crushed. There've probably been times when they've been needlessly careless, and produced avoidable collateral damage, but with few exceptions they aspire to not create the collateral damage. For a variety of reasons they don't beckon in those who don't want to rise to their level of performance, and so it is with me. I've seen people that I thought might want to and be able to rise to the level of worldclass activism. And I've been willing to attempt to act as a catalyst for that. But I've not imposed it, I've not chased anyone down. And some have been brave enough to try, and so far none have made the leap. And when I recognize that they've reached their limit in terms of the stress that they can bear, even though I've not imposed myself, I withdraw myself and I respect their decision. But I'll not change, God damn me if I did. I have the aptitude for a role, I have an appetite for a role, the tip of the spear. It's what Loving has done his entire life, saving hundreds or thousands of jobs and careers, and now piloting the only weapon that can save humanity, and any decent prospects within humanity, the Death Fast. Hell not step away from it. Hell not apologize for it. Hell not water it down, package it for the masses that shouldn't be any part of it to begin with, any more than Alice Paul watered down her efforts. She was brutal. Navy SEALs are brutal. Marines are brutal, they're tough on each other. Tough Love. If it isnt tough, it isnt Love. And so it is with me.

The addle headed, the right wing in the US today, the left wing in the US today, goes out of line with science, goes out of line with reason, goes out of line with the facts on the ground, as do virtually all of our brothers and sisters. The Potent Activist is the one that's acting on firm ground. Shes the one that's acting on science, the one that's acting on fact, Hes the one that's acting on the historical record of the powerful and successful unviolent actions throughout history, to bring change. Rank defensiveness, rank denial, would label them the Don Quixote. Rank cowardice.

C08: The Creator - God, our Father, but a clearer name

She describes herself as African American, and maybe a dozen different Indigenous American tribes- Blackfoot, I think she said, Lakota, I think she said. She's kindly visited me several times in the last 17 days, including praying over me the other day, an indigenous prayer. And during that prayer she spoke of the Creator. My life has been reformed these last 13 years, I've come back to life after many decades living the Spiritual Death that our society says we're to live. And bringing the notion of "Our Father," our common Father of all humanity to my mind has been central to that, praying the "Our Father" as Leo Tolstoy helped me to learn in his book 'The Gospel of Brief,' was instrumental in my regaining my humanity. But when sister Thundercloud spoke of the Creator the other day it was a massive step forward for me. Life is inseparable from Mother Earth, Gaia. And as I just said, the notion of Our Father unites me with all humanity, but it doesn't naturally unite me with our Mother Earth, and I would say nor does it unite all socalled Christians with Mother Earth, because look what theyve done to her. But 'The Creator,' same entity, different word, is much clearer language. For me, it much more powerfully brought me into the proper view of humans in the cycle with Earth. For some nice, Kumbaya metaphorical reason? No! We're dying because we've forgotten that inseparable linkage. We're dying because we're killing our Mother, as it was said by Jake in the movie Avatar. So now more centrally in my prayer life is the notion of Creator, and it's opening up whole avenues of clarity as to what we are to be, as directed by our DNA, and what we are not to be. Are we to be rapers and plunderers of the Creator's creation? I don't think so. Are we to be worshipping our own buildings, our own sculpture, our own painting, our own sexual enhancements, our own entertainment, our own form, as opposed to worshipping, reveling in, all the work of the Creator? I don't think so. Jesus didn't think so. The few of the sane prophets in the Old Testament, didn't think so. So I offer to you the power that I have found in the word 'Creator,' for what the word Jehovah meant in Jesus' day, 'the almighty power that everyone feels and no one will be able to name.' I suggest to you the word Creator brings us much closer, much faster to a grasp, as crude as it may be, of what that Creator is and what we are to value above all. Gandhi said that God is the rules; God is the ruler, clearly something is ruling the planet, some being, some entity, some force. I believe it's a force. But by whatever name, it is The Creator. I suggest to you that I've found, and you may too, that the word Creator is a tremendously fruitful concept to pray on, to meditate on, to focus on.
