Here is an update on what will be going on with the youth this sum-mer. First I will tell what acvies will be going on. Saturday, May,26 was the rst SNCAL hangout. The address is 2011 C Ave, Glad-brook. The house is one mile north of Union Grove Lake. This willhappen every Saturday night this summer, unless I nofy peopleotherwise. All youth, grades 7 and up are welcome to come.In the next couple weeks, the youth are also invited to stay aerchurch for pizza and we will meet in the church basement, date tobe announced later. Also on that same Sunday I might be starng toteach the Y.F. Sunday School class. So that is what is coming up asfar as acvies.I just want to briey share why I want to do these things. I grew upgoing to Church and learning about God, and I always wondered whyGod spoke to people so much in the Bible, but not as much now
days. I wanted more out of my relaonship with God. When I wentto North Central University I really commied to my relaonshipwith Jesus and I started to realize that God does speak to us sll. Ifound out how fullling it is to have a fully commied relaonshipwith Jesus, and that there was more to being a Chrisan than I hadexperienced.
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in aplace where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it onits stand, so that those who come in may see the light.” So I want toshare what I have received, and would not be surprised if a lot of students feel the same way about God that I did in high school. Myhope is that I can share what God has done for me to the youth andthat they would all have a fullling relaonship with Jesus.
Watch for more SNCAL announcements in the bullens and news-leers to keep informed of the summer youth acvies.
