Description

Yoga Vasishtha Maharamayana is a remarkable, large classical Indian text of philosophy, illustrated by stories and similes. The only complete English translation is by V. L. Mitra (1891).

It is currently being prepared for publication in the public domain at the Project Gutenberg/Distributed Proofreaders (www.pgdp.net).

This file contains the first two volumes (of 4). The text has gone through two proof-reading rounds (P2).

The rest of the volumes (3 and 4) have been uploaded separately.
