Group Agreement
Equipment:
Flip ChartColoured paper (cut intospeech bubbles)PensBlu tac
How to:
Gather group together
Introduce the activity: a group agreement isthe rules that the group has to abide byduring the session and referred to ifsomeone doesn’t uphold them
Write on a flip chart/speech bubbles, therules that the C&YP come up with
 
Try and encourage each member of thegroup to contribute
 
Post the flip chart sheet on the wall toremind the group of the rules that have beenagreed
 Note: You can refer back to the agreement atany point during the session if necessary.Time :

If the group is not veryvocal then ask themindividually to fill in aspeech bubble with onerule the group shouldadopt

Name Game
Equipment:
None
How to:
Get the group standing in a circle?
One person will start
They have to say something that goes withthe same first letter of their name and thentheir name
It could be anything you want e.g. an animalor object or action. As long as the first letteris the same as the first letter of your name.E.g. Swimming Sam
Then you move around the circle so the nextperson will say the persons before them andtheir own e.g. Swimming Sam, JellyfishJohn
Keep going around the circle so the lastperson will have to say the names of all thePeople in the groupYou could then change the direction of thegroup and get them to pick new things to gowith their name

10 - 15 minutes
