As always home made pizzas went down a treat, with the juniors trying the tricky task of directing a partner to create their pizza. This was such a fun oral language task to try, and everyones pizzas turned out perfectly. We have all also been very busy preparing our Claymation Characters, Props and Scenery. Its been like having a mini Weta Workshop in our classroom, pretty cool actually. Finally, today is Jaimes last day. We have all really enjoyed having Jaime here to help our lear ning and singing. We wish her all the best for her future studies, and know that she will be a wonderful teacher when she finishes. The Mini Weta Workshop

Matariki Day at Winiata Marae - Tuesday 12th June Winiata Marae is holding its annual Matariki Day Celebration with the Powhiri beginning at 9am followed by a fun day of traditional, games, arts and stories. Please let me know if you will be able to provide transport and help with supervision for the day. Pre-school children are welcome. Taihape Schools Art Show - 19th - 20th June The Taihape Cluster will hold its bi-annual art show in the Town Hall on Tuesday 19th to Wednesday 20th June. This is a public show and all are welcome to attend and see the wonderful works of art created by the Taihape Local Schools. We will visit as a school on the Wednesday morning, before we attend the Mangaweka School Production. Visit to Waiouru School- Monday 25th June Please note that the date for this has been changed. We will leave from school at 11am (after morning tea). We are expected at Waiouru School at 11.50am. Please let me know if you are coming or if your children will need transport. After our visit we will have a swim at the Waiouru Heated Pools. Mangaweka School Production - Wednesday 20th June We have been invited to the Mangaweka School production Roald Dahls Cinderella. It will be held at Mangaweka Hall at 1pm. So we will visit the Cluster Art Exhibition in the morning, have lunch in town before heading out to Mangaweka for the show. Pow-Wow - Monday 11 June 7ish at School Those who are keen to start their Aprons will need approx. 1m. of fabric (we have a small amount available) sewing machines and embroidery sewing needs. Some people are also keen to make to make Door Draughters. Anyway, give me a ring to check what you will need. Ka kite ano, Marama and Carol
