High demand growth of electricity energy on Sumatra in recent years is not followed by addition of power capacity. Electricity crisis and high oil price in the latest several years push a consideration use to altemative energy such as nuclear energy for future electricity generation in Sumatra. Study is done using WASP IV programme based on P3BS projection load growth. Results indicated that for Discount Rate of 8 and 10%, nuclear power plants appear in the planning each of which in 2006 and 2014.
