Irented acar for the 6 days the module was in shipment and repair. It took me about 10 minutes toget it back in. I started it up, the lights went out as the system checked out (except the TCS OFFlight). I drove it down the street; shut it off; re-started it and the remaining TCS OFF light went outas well.This would have run me $2540 for the part, $300 in labor, $120 in diagnostics ($2960). I paid$160 for the rental, $275 for the rebuild and $120 for the dealer diagnosis ($555).You can callAuto&TruckElectronics 1-800-257-3395 ext 29 (Jamie)(http://autoecu.com/default.asp) and she will help you out. They can fax you a UPS labeland some diagrams.The easiest way to do this, is to remove your battery (Neg terminal first), then take out theplatform the battery sits on. You may need to loosen up the fuse box that sits above the ABSmodule; this is held on by 3 nuts (one is hidden near thebrakereservoir). There are 6 Torx head(size T-20) screws holding the ABS module in place. You will also need to slide the clip on thelarger module connector. Mine was a bit tough. Then there is one smaller connector plugged intothe bottom of the module that's easy to remove.I took pictures if anyone needs more info. I'll try to post them somewhere for download.Tools:

Thanks so much for providing this information!! I had similar problems with my 2000 SAAB 9-5 wagon and took it to the dealership. They would be happy to do it for over $2000 with a new module or $800+ for a rebuilt. I had my son pull the module and we sent it into Module Master. They were great. I was able to successfully replace it for under $200!!

I love you!!!! My husband and I used this and all is well now. This was such a blessing to come across!! The SAAB dealer was going to charge $3200 to fix our faulty ABS and we did it for $100 and it was very simple with these instructions. THANKS!!!!

great article!. I did the removal today, and have one suggestion. Move that clip to the left to move the front plastic piece out of the way before loosening the torx screws. I could not get to the second one down on the left side until I did that.
