 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand Ro.5:12 The promise is PEACE. Peace WITH God

 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Ph.4:6-7

Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease. 5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? 6 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? 7 Show us Your mercy, Lord, And grant us Your salvation.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. 9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.

Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, And righteousness shall look down from heaven. 12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase. 13 Righteousness will go before Him, And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

 His footsteps are our pathway For every PROBLEM there is a PROMISE! For every PROMISE there is a PROVISION!

 Strife is satans attempt to keep you from your provision. It is a matter of DISTRACTION. Strife causes us to not see right The Holy Spirit operates as a still small voice and can in ly be heard in quietness and confidencebe still and know

 See it in Abraham and Lot in Gen13 Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together. And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abrams livestock and the herdsmen of Lots livestock So Abram said to Lot, Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. Gen.13:8-9

 Strife is always the result of disobedience The mouth of a good person is a deep, lifegiving well, but the mouth of the wicked is a dark cave of abuse. Hatred starts fights, but love pulls a quilt over the bickering. You'll find wisdom on the lips of a person of insight, but the shortsighted needs a slap in the face Pro.10:11-13

 By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom. Pr.13:10 He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the LORD will be prospered. Pr.28:25 Kick out the troublemakers and things will quiet down; you need a break from bickering and griping Pr.22:10

 Peace is always the umpire for doing the will of God. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body Co.3:15

 So Abram said to Lot, Please let there be no strife between you and me, and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen; for we are brethren. Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left. Gen.13:8-9

 And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. Gen.13:10-11

 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you arenorthward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you. Gen.13:14-17

 Getting rid of Lot was vital to Abraham being able to SEE what he needed to SEE! The name Lot in the Hebrew means: veil Many of us cannot see because we have been dragging Lot around with us and it has us blinded to spiritual realities that only the Holy Spirit can and will reveal when we step out in complete obedience to God.

 The problem is not where we have been, nor where we are going, but HOW we have been and WHO we have been Key principle: #1 How you leave is how you enter We spend our whole life entering and leaving but we just dont get the fact that God is as much concerned with WHAT we are becoming as WHAT we are doing
