Manage your Health, inc. (MYH} employs more than 20,000 full-time employees and more than 5,000 part
time employees. They spend 20 % more than the industry average on employee health care premiums due to
increasing cases of sick employees during recent times. Being a company, whose primary business is providing
health care solutions to the world, failing health ofits own employees is @ matter of concem. A large number
of unfit employees have a major effect on the efficiency of services provided by the company. In addition, a
large number of unfit employees is not favorable to the company’s reputation in the market Since the
company’s key goals include reduction internal costs, improvement in the health of employees would also
reduce the need to pay high premiums. Therefore by initiating the recreation and wellness Intranet Project
the company can take a step towards potential cost saving and improved employee morale.
2.0 Business Objective
MYH Inc. goals include reducing internal costs, increasing cross-selling of products, and exploiting new
Web-based technologies to help employees, customers, and suppliers work together to improve the
development and delivery of its health care products and services. To achieve all the above mentioned
goals the company needs strong, healthy work force who are physically and mentally prepared to face the
challenges arising in the changing dynamic world.Strong competent workforce will assure the company of its
long term success, growth, reduction in costs, increased productivity and improved reputation. Through the
recreation and wellness project, the company will be able to improve the physically and mental well-being of
its employees who are the pillars of the company.

“The main problem faced by the employees is the poor health. The main reason behind it could lack of
recreational activities, a large amount of stress coupled by smoking habits and lack of incentive to lead an
