Describe a setting The battle of Kashyyyk

It was cold but he was sweating, and he wished he could take off his heavy armour to feel the cool wind or jump into the water in front of him. It was wet and muddy, a beach was no place for a battle and he wished he was a sniper in the forest behind him. He envied the giant hairy beast standing beside him, who had just ripped the arms off a droid and was now standing preparing to fight the next one, with the wind through his thick fur. The more he saw these beasts fight, the more he wanted to fight for them, magnificent the way they ripped through their enemies. As the day went on, he found himself more and more outnumbered as the droids would not stop coming but his armies numbers were getting lower and lower, even with the extra power from the Wookies, and their amazing strength. The more his comrades fell, the harder he fought: Through all the blaster fire and explosions constantly bombarding the beach, spewing sand into the air. It was hell on the sand, and he knew it wouldnt get better as he found the number of friendlies around him dwindling. He ordered a tactical retreat back into the forest, where it would be easier to fight. The air was much nicer in the forest, even though by now there was

sand in the air even in the forest, there was not nearly as much. The Wookies liked it better too, although every bit of land that was lost from their home was painful to them. As the droids marched into the forest, there were a lot more of them falling than Wookies and men, due to the advantage that the forest gave them. It was also cooler in the forest which boosted the morale of the troops dramatically. They felt more like wanting to fight when they werent so hot and blew through waves and waves of droids. After a couple more hours of fighting, the droids finally seemed to slow down and the men made a final push back to the beach. Finally, it was over, and he took off his helmet to smell the air and feel the cool wind through his short hair. The beach, now instead of being a beautiful sight, was laden with bodies and metal, craters from bombs, and was an awful sight to see after what it looked like before the battle. The Wookies now stood proud on their beach head and were grateful for the help provided by these grave men. Both Wookie and man alike then proceeded to mourn their fallen friends and family on the battlefield. Everyone helped each

other collect the dead and move them to be buried properly. And as they did this, the sun came out for the first time.
