1808.
He
settled

Albany

1827,
and
published
the
Albany
Minerva
in
28.
He
afterwards
published
various
papers,
weekly
and
daily.
He
thoroughly
studied
the
art
of
printing,
practically
and
historically.
A
large
part
of
his
valul
able
collection
of
works
relating
to
the
history
of
print-
ing
was
purchased
for
the
New
York
State
Li&ary
He
has
edited
and
published
Annals
of
(kfeST(tO
vok,
1850-58),
and
several
other
works
