The descendants of the Atlanteans, the Lusitanian, were the ancestors of Former Portuguese. Portugal was the first Nation in European history with Dom Afonso Henriques who first freed the Portucalense County from the clutches of Leon and Castile and the feudal fabric. The dynastic crisis in which Portugal was since the crisis of the House of Aviz to the Restoration, placed Portugal in a historical random trajectory even during the days of monarchy. The Republic did not bring better luck to Portugal as the country plunged into a serious and dangerous dictatorship that lasted almost half-century. April Revolution brought the lost freedom and the entry in the European Union has recovering infra-structurally the country, increasing its fleet and improving the outlets of trafficking in general and of the goods. But opportunism, corruption and greed of modern rulers returned to prostrate Portugal ditch in poor countries and this time there seems not to be Dom Sebastian that will save Portugal. Portugal remains on a route with the most difficult way out in the annals of its history. The fog continues to haunt the West Lusitanian Beach ...
