Description

Why do Asians really get straight A's? Why do Asians really become doctors and lawyers? Why do Asians really play the piano? Many people believe that the reason has to do with the pressure to perform and the pressure to conform, however, it goes much deeper than that—much, much deeper! This didactic novel reveals the truths about Asian culture, which will shock you to the marrow of your bones—and open a hidden world of long-guarded secrets.

What are written in the novel is not new.I am almost 50 years old.The pressure of Asian on their offspring is pretty well the same 35 or even half a century ago and more so even now, all because of this magic spell called "money".

Very innovative writing, fantastic style of prose, simply spectacular book...this is the best novel I've read in a very long time---and I'm old!

Everyone, drop what you're doing now and read this book. This should be required reading for every damn classroom!

This book deserves the Pulitzer!

This is easily one of the most extraordinary novels that I have ever read! Inspiring, witty and thought-provoking. I honestly couldn't put it down...figuratively speaking of course. I've already recommended this to all of my friends and family members. I just hope that they are as inspired as I am. HIGHLY recommended for everyone, not just Asians.
