Its broadly refers to the service available in the following fields: social Environment Poverty and poverty alleviation programs Labor and employment Development of women and children Education Health Population and family welfare Empowerment of socially disadvantaged Public amenities in rural and urban areas

Labour And Employment


To provide the work opportunity to people ILO has identified 20 indicator of labour market some of them are as follows Labour force participation rate Employment to population ratio Status in employment Employment by sector Part time worker Youth unemployment Unemployment by educational attainment Labour productivity Labour market flow Poverty and income distribution

Women in workforce
To improve the quality and quantity of employment for women.

Child Labour
Government has adopted two scheme National child labour project scheme(NCLP)and granting aid to voluntary organization for taking up action oriented program in the field of rehabilitation.

Education
The primary aim is to achieve 100% literacy rate among the population. The education policy is divided under the following heads in India: Elementary Education(SSA University and Higher Education Technical and Professional education Adult Education

Health, Population and Family Welfare


Several centrally sponsored scheme for the control of infectious diseases. Some other Schemes introduced are with regard to the reduction of maternal and infant mortality . Universal Immunization program

3. Consumer right
As per the Consumer Protection Act(CPA)1986 To be protect marketing of goods and services. Inform about the quality ,quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of good. To seek redressal against unfair or restrictive trade practices. To be assumed wherever possible ,access to a variety of goods and services at competitive price To right to consumer education

4. Corporate Governance
Governance is the process whereby people in power make decision that create, destroy or maintain social system, structure and Process.

The social sector of India Work toward the upliftment of the people .in spite of the economic growth some of the important issues that need to be addressed are: Reduction in the number of the people living below poverty line Improving working conditions and providing employment opportunities Stabilization of population Development of women Supply of proper sanitation and drinking water facilities in rural as well as urban areas 100% literacy among the population Immunization of all children and eradication of diseases
