The CountyMedically Indigent Services Program (CMISP)is a program of "last resort" designed tomeet the health care needs of individuals in ourcommunity who are not otherwise eligible forhealth care programs such as Medi-Cal,Medicare, or private health insurance; and whomeet the County's "last resort" socioeconomiceligibility standards. CMISP serves adults 19-64years of age with incomes at approximately 0 -200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).CMISP has enrolled various medical serviceproviders such as Home Health Agencies,Durable Medical Equipment providers, SurgicalCenters, therapy groups, providers who dovarious diagnostic testing, pharmacies andlaboratories. Medical Case Management willwork with providers to assure that ancillaryservices are accessible and authorized throughother enrolled medical service providers.
