Other Health Technology Assessments Screening for cystic fibrosis-related diabetes: a systematic review Waugh, N et al. This report finds some evidence suggesting that harm to pulmonary function in patients with cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD) occurs at lower blood glucose levels than those used for defining other types of diabetes, and suggests that the definition of CFRD should be based on pulmonopathy risk, rather than the classical definition of diabetes.
