17
Therefore, all the generations from Avraham until Dawid,[were] fourteen generations, andfrom Dawid until the captivity of Babel, fourteen generations, and from the captivity of Babel until Meshikha, fourteen generations.
18
Now the birth of Yeshue-Meshikha was like this: when Maryam his mother was engaged to Yauseph, before theywere joined in marriage, she was found [to be] pregnant from the Rukha d
Qudsha.
19
ButYauseph her husband was upright and was not willing to disgrace her and he was thinking thathe would dismiss her privately.
20
But while he was considering these [things],an angel of Maryaappeared to him in a dream and said to him,
Yauseph, son of Dawid,do not be afraid to takeMaryam your wife, for he that is fathered in her [is] from the Rukha d
Qudsha.
21
And she willgive birth to a son and she willcall his name Yeshue, for he will give life to his people from theirsins.
22
Now all this that happened [was] that it would be fulfilled what was spoken from Maryaby way of the prophet:
23
Behold,a virgin will conceive and will give birth to a son andthey willcall his name Amanuil, which is interpreted, our Alaha [is] with us.
24
And when Yauseph roseup from his sleep,he did as the angel of Marya had commanded him and he took his wife.
25
Andhe did not know her until she had given birth to her firstborn son. And she called his nameYeshue.
MATTHEW CHAPTER 2
1
Now when Yeshue was born in Beth-Lekhem of Yehuda in the days of Herod the king,Magushe came from the east to Urishlem
2
and said,
Where is the king of the Yehudaye whowas born? For we have seen his star in the east and we have come to worship him.
3
And Herodthe king heard and was troubled and all Urishlem with him.

And he gathered all of the chief

priests and Saphrey of the people and was asking them where Meshikha was [tobe] born.
5
Andthey said,
In Beth-Lekhem of Yehuda
,”
for so it is written in the prophet:
6
You also,Beth-Lekhem of Yehuda, you will not be the least among the kings of Yehuda, for from you willgo out a king who will shepherd my people Israyel.
7
Then Herod secretly called the Magusheand learned from them at what time the star appeared to them.
8
And he sent them toBeth-Lekhem and said to them,
Go,search for the boy diligently and when you have found him, come, inform me that I may also go [and] worship him.
9
And when they had heard from theking, they went away and behold, the star that they had seen in the east went before them, until itcame [and] stood over where the boy was.
10
And when they saw the star, they rejoiced [with]very great joy.
11
And they entered the house and they saw the boy with Maryam his mother andthey fell down [and] worshipped him and they opened their treasures and offered him gifts, goldand myrrh and incense.
12
And it was shown to them in a dream that they shouldnot return toHerod and by another way, they went to their country.
13
And when they had gone,an angel of Marya appeared in a dream to Yauseph and said to him,
Get up. Lead the child and his motherand flee to Egypt and stay there until I tell you, forHerod is going to seek for the child in orderto destroy him.
14
Now Yauseph rose up,took up the child and his mother in the night, and fledto Egypt.
15
And he remained there until the death of Herod,so that it would be fulfilled whatwas spoken from Marya by the prophet who said: From Egypt I have called my son.
16
ThenHerod, when he saw that he was mocked by the Magushe, was very angry and sent [and] killedall the boys of Beth-Lekhem and of all its borders from two years old and under, according tothetime that he had investigated from the Magushe.
17
Then was fulfilled what was spoken by wayof Eramiya the prophet, who said:
18
A voice was heard in Ramtha, crying and great mourning,Rakheil crying for her sons and not wanting to be comforted, because they were not.
19
Nowwhen Herod the king died,an angel of Marya appeared in a dream to Yauseph in Egypt.
20
Andhe said to him,
Get up. Lead the child and his mother and go to the land of Israyel, for thosewho were seeking the life of the child have died.
21
And Yauseph rose up [and] led the child andhis mother and came to the land of Israyel.
22
But when he heard that Archelaus was king inYehudah in place of Herod his father,he was afraid togo there and it was shown to him in adream that he should go to the land of Galila.
23
And he came [and] lived in the city that is calledNatsrath,so that it would be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet:
He will be called aNatsraya.
MATTHEW CHAPTER 3
1
Now in those days Yukhanan the Immerser came and was preaching in the desert of Yehuda.
2
And he said,
Repent. The kingdom of heaven is near.
3
For this is he about whom itwas said by way of Eshaya the prophet: The voice of one crying in the desert: prepare the way of Marya and make straight his paths.
4
Now [this] Yukhanan, his clothes were of the hair of camelsand a girdle of skin [was] on his loins and his food [was] locusts and honey of the desert.
5
ThenUrishlem went out to him and all Yehuda and all the region that was around the Yurdinan.
6
Andthey were immersed by him in the Yurdinan River when they confessed their sins.
7
And whenhesaw many from the Perishye and from the Zaduqaye who came to be immersed,he said tothem,
Generation of vipers! Who has informed you to flee from the wrath that will come?
8
Produce, therefore, the fruits that are proper for repentance.
9
And do not think or say within
