QWR is the "Qualified Written Request" under Section 6 of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), which requires the lender to reply for the borrower queries about their loan transaction in 60 days.( within 20 days acknowledgement and reply in 60-days) And imposes penalty on the lender on their failure to reply.
