 Moment of Silence
A moment was taken to honor those men and women at home andabroad fighting to keep us a free nation.
Dave Graham graced us with his presence. He owns a 1953 Fordpickup.
 New Vehicles
Jerry Rolfe bought a transmission and Lloyd gave away a Vega?

GOOD!Car Fines
Last month was a good month for fines, bad though because we
didn’t drive that special car of ours. As I look at the dollars
being put on the table tonight, some of us still need to getthem out and show off, that includes me!! Tonight, after themeeting, the club did cruise town led by Fred Benninghoff.

A bit of good sunshine rec’d from Scott Wernecke:
Dated 5/27/12.See a previous email in the
Just a quick email to keep everyone updated. Our fiber opticcable job here at Kandahar is done; the Predator squadron willbe switching its full operating system over to our new system ina few days,
so I’m really hoping
we did a good job on thisinstall! However, if you hear any news about Predator drones
doing weird things, I’m sure it’s not any of the fiber opticcables I spliced, yeh I’m sure of it????? Just kidding,
everything tested out good and they are very happy we finished
this job ahead of schedule. It’s kind of satisfying to know
that you had a direct hands on part in the war. I may not getto fly the Predator but I sure know it would not be able to doits job without us doing ours.On Monday our team is moving to Manas Air Force Base which is aNATO support base in the country of Kyrgystan. We will beworking on installing a new underground phone system for thebase; there is a lot of work to do; so we should be there for awhile. Goo
d thing is, it’s out of the combat zone; so no one
should be shooting rockets at us, I hope!Got
to go and start packing, our plane leaves at 0430 hrs. I’ll
keep in touch,ScottScott Wernecke
