MAJOR STREET AND SIDEWALK CLEANING TO OBTAIN PUBLIC HEALTH COMPLIANCE

OPERATION HEALTHY STREETS TO COMMENCE ON June 19, 2012

PLEASE REMOVE ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS, STORAGE, AND BULK ITEMS

On June 19, 2012, the City will commence Operation Healthy Streets. This intensive multi day program is designed to clean, improve, and maintain a safe environment, free of any hazards, for the general public. The City will use power washers and street cleaning equipment to clean and disinfect the sidewalks, roadways, and public access areas. Please remove all personal belongings, storage, and bulk items from roadways, sidewalks, and public access areas. Do not attempt to clean hazardous waste and/or items that have the potential to put the public at risk. These items will be safely removed by the City. Absent an immediate threat to public health or safety, property left behind will be taken by the City and kept in a secure location for a period of 90 days for the rightful owner to retrieve.
