Pryor 255 Dirksen Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510

Dear Senators Alexander and Pryor: You have offered various excuses and explanations for your decision to oppose Senator Inhofes S.J. Res 37 and instead side with the Obamas administrations Utility MACT rule. As Senator Inhofe recently stated on the Senate floor: The momentum to stop President Obamas war on coal is now so great that some of my colleagues, Senators Alexander and Pryor, are going to introduce a counter measure to my resolution.... This alternative is a clear admission that the Obama-EPAs policy is wrong but it does not fix the problem; it simply puts off the day of execution for a few more years. Now even that shell game is over. There will be no vote on Alexander-Pryor. There will only be a vote on the Inhofe Resolution, up-or-down, and the vote will be today. If you vote no, you will be responsible for expected electricity price increases of 19 to 23 percent in Arkansas and 13.5 percent in Tennessee. Please do the right thing for your constituents and vote YES on S.J. Res. 37.

Sincerely, James L. Martin, Chairman 60 Plus Association Phil Kerpen, President American Commitment James Valvo, Director of Policy Americans for Prosperity Jeffrey Mazzella, President Center for Individual Freedom Myron Ebell, President Freedom Action George Landrith, President Frontiers of Freedom Andrew Langer, President Institute for Liberty Seton Motley, President Less Government Ben Cunningham, President Nashville Tea Party Amy Ridenour, Chairman The National Center for Public Policy Research Eli Lehrer, President R Street David Williams, President Taxpayers Protection Alliance
