cups mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 bananas)

cup buttermilkTo Make the Banana Cupcakes:1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Line two 12-cup cupcake panswith paper liners.2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salttogether into a large bowl and set aside.3. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment,beat the butter and shortening together on medium speed untilcreamy, 3 to 4 minutes.
