DAS Rapid Response Team
If you encounter an aggressive dog or loose dogs
running in a pack, contact Dallas Animal Services’
Rapid Response Team @ 214-670-3278. Pleaseremember that DAS gets thousands of calls eachyear. A Rapid Response strategy will work if used onlywhen necessary. On the other hand, if you feel ananimal poses an immediate danger to you or your pet, call 911.

for walks weekday mornings at 6:30 a.m. at the corner of Brunner & Elmwood. She also plans to holdexercise and yoga classes on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.in Elmwood Park (Elmwood & Edgefield) beginning

Bulk Trash Pickup Reminder
Bulk trash is picked up in Elmwood on the fourth (4th)Monday of each month, which is not necessarily the lastMonday of the month (some months have fiveMondays). You can start placing your bulk trash on thecurb at 6 p.m. the Thursday before. Email reminders are
sent each month to participants in ENA’s Yahoo Group.

Water Restrictions in Force
Step One drought conditions will remain in effect atleast through June 8th. According to Yvonne Duprewith the City of Dallas this will probably continuethroughout the summer and, if a drought-managementplan is triggered, watering restrictions may becomepermanent. Under Step One conditions:
numbered addresses may only water onSundays and Thursdays.
numbered addresses may only water onSaturdays and Wednesdays.
DO NOT water your yard between 10 a.m. and 6p.m. Hand watering or the use of soaker hoses,however, is permitted at any time.
DO NOT water during any form of precipitation.
DO NOT allow your sprinkler system to waterdriveways, sidewalks or streets.
DO remember that automatic sprinkler systemowners are required to have rain and freeze sensorsinstalled.
DO maintain your sprinkler system. Repair anybroken, missing or misdirected sprinkler heads.
