It's because of reasoning like this that I think the marriage amendment could well fail in MN. After throwing about $1,000,000 in the coffers of anti-gay marriage organizations, I wondering if Catholics will vote it down just because they actually do disagree with the church. I'm not saying anything about scripture and tradition. The lady doth protest too much.
I am a practicing Catholic which a similar background as Ms. Cameron. The school officials have the freedom to fire a teacher that does not align with their belief system - fair enough - this is America - we do have freedom of association - right. But isn't that exactly why we should all VOTE NO on the marriage amendment. We need a free society to make free decisions about our own beliefs.
