ASEDIE
Asedie, Multisectorial Information Association, is the Spanish Association that bringstogether Infomediary Companies, its main activity is the use, reuse and distribution of information from different sources in order to create products and services with added valueand a commercial purpose, which contributes to adding more security to global mercantiletraffic and therefore boosting the economy by applying methods that promote reliability andtransparency of business transactions in business environment.The proper and fair treatment of information by the member institutions is guaranteed by theAsedie´s Code of Good Practice, in which all our members are subject, accordance to theEuropean Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practicesOur association consists of those specific sectors that form part of the Information Industryand thus the circle of essential business information, so that they, in their commercialtransactions, are exposed to minimum risksIn the knowledge economy we live in, companies that form part of ASEDIE recognize theimportance of the re-use of Public Sector Information and that it is a key element to generatevalue and wealth and for the stability and the business and labour growth in the immediatefuture.

INTRODUCTION
It opens a new vista for Business Infomediaries with the reuse of Public Sector Informationpromoting the development of value-added products that multiply exponentially due to thediversity of functional specializations, sectorial, technologies, etc...To achieve this, it is necessary to locate and eliminate the problems and barriers thatcurrently exist. In this task, you need to know and appreciate the contributions andknowledge of all involved and forums that are affected.When accessibility is greater and less expensive, value-added products will increase,representing a socio-economic impact and contributing to society by:1.
 
In depth knowledge of existing information
: the disposition of new products andimprovement of existing ones will have evident benefits for society, allowing theemergence of new products and services developed for the knowledge of the endconsumer2.
 
Increased legal and commercial
security by the addition of higher transparency of available Public Sector Information3.
 
Economy Development and promotion of the labor market
: Estimatedemployment and economic growth4.
 
Environmental and research interest, both at the business and citizen level
: Thegreatest benefit for the environment would be if we could access public sectorinformation through new technologies, significantly contributing to the value of general knowledge by giving access to available information for both the public andinfomediaries in the cultural, social and research domain.In general it would help increase the development in diverse sectors as the insuranceindustry, appraisal companies, manufacturers and distributors of white ware, furniture,household repairs and improvements, companies and distributors of basic services likepower, water and telecommunications, etc.
