1997
• Three young dreamers on a park bench in
Andheri, Mumbai decided it was time for
something more concrete, something that
would have a lasting effect on not only
their own lives, but others as well
• Avinash, Mitesh and Siddharth had started
to dream…
 1998
• All three went to the US to pursue careers
in software
• A fun filled trip to Florida brought the three
together again
• The dreams were now starting to take
shape…
 1999
• AapkaIndore.com was born
• One of the first major initiatives from any
one in Indore in eCommerce
• It is probably the only surviving, profitable,
not-for-profit eCommerce venture by
anyone from Indore
 2000
• e-Infotech was born
• First formal office started off in Avinash’s
house at 38 Ramchandra Nagar, Indore
• Back then, we had one computer, one part
time team member and a whole bunch of
dreams and ideas
• Team members – 0.5
 2000
• The Registrar of Companies in Gwalior
thought that the name was too generic
• Another name had to be thought
• InfoBeans became the new identity
• The first office outside home started at
Bansi Trade Center, Indore – 300 sq ft of
sacred space
• Team members – 2.5
 2001
• Developed the first mobile WAP based
application in central India –
mobile.aapkaindore.com
• InfoBeans Ltd, UK was established and
processed 1 work permit
• Team members – 5
 2002
• InfoBeans moved to a bigger space at 11A
Ratlam Kothi, Indore – 500 sq ft
• InfoBeans signed up its first Fortune 100
client – Deutsche Bank
• First travel to the USA for onsite
requirements gathering and design
• Team members - 11
 2003
• Ratlam Kothi was too small for the dreams
• InfoBeans moves to its fourth office in 3
years – South Tukoganj, Indore – 2000 sq
ft
• Team members - 15
 2004
• InfoBeans executes some major projects
including Deustche Bank, Art Director’s
Club, OneClub, Andy Awards, Waterstons
UK and others
• Education Services start in Indore with
great success
• Team Size - 20
 2005
• InfoBeans opens office in Pune – a
strategic location
• InfoBeans opens Education Center in
Bhopal
• Gevity and Weblink added as clients
• InfoBeans outgrows again. Moves to -
Rafael Tower – 6500 sq ft
• Team members – 40
 2006
• InfoBeans continues to grow at a
scorching pace
• Records are created in terms of team size,
financial numbers and month over month
growth
• To focus on software services, education
services discontinued in Bhopal and
Indore
 2006
• InfoBeans starts processing business
visas for its team members
• US office opens up in April with Mitesh
moving to the US on the 29th of May
• New relationships are created and
strategic alliances are forged with partners
