Función del Gusto
El gusto consiste en registrar el sabor e identificardeterminadas sustancias solubles en la saliva pormedio de algunas de sus cualidades químicas. Aunqueconstituye el más débil de los sentidos, está unido alolfato, que completa su función.
 
Este sentido, además, es un poderoso auxiliar de ladigestión, ya que sabemos que las sensacionesagradables del gusto estimulan la secreción de la saliva y los jugos gástricos.
