When I went through this article and speeches from the revered leaders from Jewish tradition, I felt a sense of pride in being belonging to the faith which has given shelters to all. I am sure that amongst 1 billion Hindus, not many people would know about Abraham, Moses but when they arrived 2000 years back, we gave them a land to practice their faith based on the only condition of mutual respect and harmony. That is in essence Hinduism- the faith which teaches tolerance and non violence to the world. I am glad that reliigous leaders from the ancient land of Israel came and acknowledged our contributions. I as a Hindu would assure every person on this earth that we are peace loving people and our continued history of tolerance would continue to set examples in the world. Astu !
