Juan is proud that all of hisancestors came to our country legally. Juan attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrsand Saint David’s School for Boys. He wentto the Browning School for Boys and EmoryUniversity, graduating from Quinnipiac LawSchool.An attorney, he worked in Washington forSenator Bob Dole, and Donald Rumsfeld, ourformer Defense Secretary.When Juan returned to NYC he joined theGiuliani Administration, working at theDepartment of Youth Services as DeputyGeneral Counsel, and later as a Counsel in theOfﬁce of the Mayor, and then as a GeneralCounsel at the Board of Standards and Appeals.A partner at the prestigious international lawﬁrm of Reed Smith LLP, working in the Business& Finance and Real Estate Departments, hechairs their Land Use and Zoning division. Juan has been married to Meaghan O’Brien-Reyes for ten years. They live in Forest Hills withtheir three daughters, and their dog, Nugget.
