Procesul de invatamant reprezinta cadrul in care educatorul transmiteinformatiile in mod constient si sistematic educatilor intr-un contextinstitutional organizat, in vederea formarii personalitatii acestora inconcordanta cu cerintele idealului educational.Cele trei laturi ale procesul de invatamant sunt:
predarea
invatarea
evaluarea
 
Relatia dintre actiunile cadrului didactic ( de predare) siactiunile elevului ( de invatare) este orientata catrerealizarea scopurilor , obiectivelor la un nivel calitativ catmai inalt.Evolutia actiunilor si a relatiilor capata sens atunci candare loc si o verificare, o apreciere a rezultatelor (evaluarea) in vedera corectarii si schimbarii modului deactiune.
