An Encounter with a Strange Spirit During the last school holidays, my family and I visited my grandma in Tumpat, Kelantan.

Tumpat is a small town in North Kelantan and borders with Thailand. My Grandmothers village is called Kg. Dalam. It is located about 2km from the main road. It is covered with lush jungle and huge tree. There are a few Siamese temples in the village. Every evening, my brother and I will track through the paddy fields and jungles behind my grandmothers house. One day while we were playing, we saw a strange looking figure. It was dresses in tattered white clothes and a sarung. The figure smiled at us, showing his yellow teeth and big red eyes. What a shock it gave us! We ran as fast as we could screaming for help all the way. Suddenly, in front of us stood a huge wild boar. But strangely it was whitean albino wild boar. It was about 4 feet tall. We stopped and prayed for help. Fortunately we remembered the prayer my father taught us, chanting franticallyEk ongkar satnaam wahguruon and on. We dared not opened our eyes. There was a brilliant flash of light and when we opened our eyesthe wild boar was gonevanished in to the thin air. On returning home, we related our experience to our grandmother. She understood and told us that the are we walked into was portal to a finer dimension called Orang Bunian. We promised never to go to that area again.
