It is the right and duty of every teacher to determine the academic marks and promotion of learners The interest and welfare of the learners is the teachers first and foremost concern. Deal with them impartially. Teachers shall not DISCRIMINATE or PREJUDICE any learner. Teachers shall not accept any FAVORS, GIFTS, in exchange for special consideration. Learners work shall be based solely on MERIT and QUALITY OF ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. Mutual attraction and love is permitted BUT teachers shall exercise utmost professional discretion. NO CORPORAL PUNISHMENT or deduction from scholastic ratings as punishment for acts not manifesting poor scholarship. Ensure adequate conditions to learners maximum development. Assist to learners difficulties.
