The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) is collaborating with Ford Motor Company on a three-year analysis to evaluate technical approaches for integrating Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) into the nation’s electric grid system, a key requirement to facilitate widespread adoption of the vehicles. EPRI’s members, who represent more than 90 percent of the electricity generated in the U.S., work to develop solutions to the challenges of electric power.
