Mobile
Development
Challenge:
The client wanted to update their Windows Mobile application to meet increasing demands. In addition to adding new functionality, the client also wanted to improve some pre-existing components. OptimusMobility had to plan and execute the project from a brief description, since the projects requirements were not specified in detailed documentation. Key Challenges: Existing application was undocumented and not built by Optimus. Future features, requirements, and roadmap were undocumented. Features and requirements were established throughout the agile development process.

OptimusMobility started the project with an analysis of the projects requirements and test scenarios in order to prevent unexpected downstream errors and disruptions in the clients plans. We developed a delivery model that consisted of three phases: Phase 1: Knowledge Transfer OptimusMobility conducted a technical review of the clients existing application focusing on its functionality and any issues that arose. Phase 2: Development We began development of the required modifications. Throughout this phase frequent web meetings with the client were held to ensure quality results. Phase 3: Delivery The test code was demonstrated to the client via simulations from Windows Mobile SDK. The clients team conducted further testing, in which our team provided support by quickly fixing any issues that were reported.
