Re: James Ulinski
To Whom it May Concern:
Mr. Ulinski led a five hour training on Leadership Development at Divine Providence Village
for the Developmental Programs Division of Catholic Social Services on April 29th. The
training was attended by 35 leaders from the entire Division which consists of 800
employees.
Mr. Ulinski was prepared, organized, and knowledgeable. He blended very well a variety of
approaches to his teaching, including being very interactive, breaking out into small groups,
performing creative exercises and, at times, using himself as a presenter and inviting
discussion with all participants in the large group.
He ably covered such topics as leadership attributes, communication, team building,
developing support and accountability skills, and not least, encouraging a positive attitude for
the job.
Our surveys revealed that Mr. Ulinski's training was effective, and a large majority of the
participants rated him "excellent." I would certainly bring him back to our programs for
additional training, and I would recommend him without reservation to others.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to take a moment to commend Mr. Jim Ulinski on the wonderful program presented to our
staff. As part of our efforts to increase teamwork, communication, and commitment, Jim presented 5
identical workshops for our nursing, ancillary, and provider colleagues in Labor & Delivery.
The program was very effective in promoting critical thinking, listening, and teamwork skills through a
variety of exercises and scenarios. Our colleagues were involved with each of the exercises as a result of
Jim's presentation of the program goals and the anticipated results. While these exercises were not
specific to the healthcare arena, they were very effective in promoting dialogue, utilization of individual
skills to increase teamwork and creative thinking.
I would recommend Jim's programs to any organization, group, or team that may need help in moving
toward better overall dynamics.
Please free to contact me directly with any questions or comments. I am very happy to discuss our
experience and how it has helped us move forward.

Sjncerely,

Dear Jim,
Energetic. Motivated. To the point. Knowledgeable. Fresh. Bam! Just a few words to
express the style and methods you use and interject into your training. In fact, it is
because of your ability to deliver meaningful training with passion and energy that keeps
us bringing you back to lead training.
Your course "Above and Beyond" was a great overview of customer service filled with
real word examples and practical applications. The group work was an excellent
complement to the training which allowed for participation and involvement from the
attendees.
Thank you again Jim. Another course that truly went above and beyond.
Bam!

Dear Mr. Ulinski:
On behalf of the Joint Committee on Older Persons with Developmental
Disabilities, we extend our sincere thanks for your participation as a workshop presenter
at the 2008 Building Bridges conference on September 23-24, 2008. The goal of the
annual Building Bridges conference is to improve collaboration between the Aging and
Developmental Disability systems. Our hope is that through this collaboration, those
most in need of assistance will be better served.
As you may have heard, 440 people were in attendance at this year's
conference. This record number of attendees speaks to the quality of the workshops
offered and to the relevance of the workshop topics for those working in the Aging and
Developmental Disability fields. We appreciate your willingness to participate in this
important event.
Thank you for your contribution in making this a successful conference in 2008.
Sincerely,

RE: Ulinski Services Advantage
RECOMMENDATION LETTER
I am writing this letter of recommendation as Verland's Chief Executive Officer on
behalf of Jim Ulinski. I have known Jim in a professional capacity for over 25 years.
Jim has been a consultant with Verland for the past four years, and we have found his
work to be superlative. He is punctual, thorough, cost-effective and willing to do
whatever it takes to help the agency for whom he is consulting.
He is an outstanding trainer and keeps his audience's attention throughout the training
session. The only reason he has not done work for Verland this year is because we did
not have the funds.
I would not hesitate to use Jim again in any area that has to do with developmental
disabilities, and I would highly recommend him as a trainer for any field or as a
consultant regarding any subject in which he is knowledgeable.
If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to call me at 412-741-2929.
Sincerely,

Recently, I had the opportunity to have Jim Ulinski provide an interactive presentation
with nurses as part of a retreat for our Nursing Department. This is the second time we
have had this pleasure.
Mr. Ulinski possesses the skill and art of making learning enjoyable. The activity we
engaged in for team building was excellent and taught us about working as a team and
also about ourselves. The time we devoted to this topic was well spent and well received
by all participants.
I would recommend Mr. Ulinski to anyone who is interested in providing something
special for their audience. Please note that Mr. Ulinski presents on various topic areas
not just team building. My experience has been that he is always very informative and
presents in an energetic and engaging manner.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like additional information.
Sincerely yours,
