Make the Customer Look Good behavior focuses on giving credit to those who deserve it and never taking credit falsely
Tulsa, OK, July 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- DeWayne Goodman, Human Resource and Safety Director atLove Bottling Company, has been recognized by CS3 Technology as the recipient of their EssentialBehavior program for “Make the Customer Look Good.” In DeWayne's case, the customers are hiscoworkers. The “Make the Customer Look Good” behavior is defined by always passing credit to thosewho deserve it and never taking credit falsely.Love Bottling Company began an implementation of Sage HRMS in the summer of 2011. DeWayneGoodman and Cindy Smith were the team leaders for the project. Unfortunately, DeWayne had to be onan unexpected medical leave for several months during the initial implementation. When DeWaynereturned to the office, the project had continued successfully and DeWayne was easily brought up tospeed. Love Bottling Company has a fully implemented human resources and payroll system.“As part of our project, we conduct a closing meeting to discuss the process, open tasks, what went welland where we could improve,” said CS3 Technology's senior sales consultant Chris Luttrell on hernomination form. “During this meeting, although DeWayne was the designated project manager and pointperson, he made it very clear that this project was a success due to his project team members, passing allthe credit on to them, and taking none for himself. Additionally, when we first notified DeWayne he wasthe recipient of this recognition, he turned us down, not wanting to take credit for something that was ateam effort. DeWayne is diplomatic, praises his team and continuously displays the attributes of a greatmanager.”“Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to be singled out by this recognition, I feel that my co-workers carriedthe weight during this project,” said DeWayne, who has been with Love Bottling Company for 32 years.“I appreciate the people who I work with.
