QUICK TIPS FOR THE MONTH

WEEK 2Goal check in
We are past the half year mark of 2012. Whenwas the last time you checked in with your goals?Take a few hoursto review the S.M.A.R.T.(specific, measurable, actionable, resource, andtimetable) goals setduring the start of the year. For those goals that have not been achieved, decide to proceedor eliminate and concentrateon achieving key goals for the remaining year.Incorporate monthly checkin points to ensure youreach the outcome for your business that youplanned in the last quarter of 2011. One other strategy is to find several accountability partners(other entrepreneurs) who will help remind andencourage you to goal achievement.
WEEK 3Customer appreciation
When was the last time you said thank you toyour customers? Before the year is out, consider how you will thank your customers. Onerecommendation is to use your email marketingtool to send a thank you to all those whosupported you throughout the year. Another ideais to send a handwritten note saying thank you tothose who used your solution to their problem.Regardless of the method, people appreciatethose who appreciate them. From the EDACteam,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUEDSUPPORT OVER THE YEARS.WEEK 4Take a break
Lets count the number of days taken off since youwere an entrepreneur. How many did you comeup with? Taking a few days off can be achallenge for those looking to hold on to the reinsof their business. Let go! If you are a one personentrepreneur or have multiple employees, position your business for down time. Taking abreak (1 day, 3 days or 1 week) should becomepart of your business planning and operations. Abreak allows you to rejuvenate and return to theoffice with a clear sense of direction and purpose.Talk to other entrepreneurs to learn about their strategies for taking a break.
