Description

Not a penny-pinching cookbook—a "get smart!" cookbook.
No more staring helplessly at rising grocery bills or, too harried for time, shelling out twenty-five bucks for mediocre take-out. The work of two brilliant problem-solvers, Cheap. Fast. Good! cuts through both the budget dilemma and the time dilemma with 275 recipes for great, family-pleasing dishes, most of which take under 25 minutes to prepare and average out to cost less—and usually far less—than $2 a serving.

The Sweet Onion Chowder is awesome!!! We made it with left over mashed potatoes that already had sour cream in it. We also made it substituting the corn for frozen green beans and mashed potatoes with cheddar cheese. Fan-freakin-tastic! Thank you! (We sprinkle a little cayenne pepper on top of ours, yummers).

It's time for change, indeed! I love the get smart cookbook! The recipes are great, but the tips are phenomenal. Outstanding work and I thank you sincerely for sharing this with us. There are so many people who are struggling right now. They need to know how to save more money and eat quality foods at the same time. That's no easy task.
