Rapid increase of cancer diseases in Kosovo, other parts of Serbia and current Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is demonstrably linked to the NATO “humanitarian interventions” in late 90s of 20th century. According to official NATO data, 300 tons of radioactive ammunition was dropped during bombing in 113 Serbian locations. According to NATO documentation, 31 thousand radioactive projectiles were fired, while according to Russian data it was 90 thousand projectiles. According to NATO information, 6 tons of depleted uranium ammunition was dropped on Republic of Srpska (now part of BiH), in particular on Hadžić, Pala and Han Pijesak municipalities, which endangered more than 100 thousand inhabitants. According to NATO documents, more than 13 tons of radioactive ammunition was dropped on Serbia. The statistics further show that after 1999, number of malignant tumour diseases in Serbia increased six fold. Number of patients with malignant tumour disease in Kosovska Mitrovica district increased by 100% after 1999, while the county population was reduced to 20% from the original state. 80% of victims which fell ill to malignant cancer diseases due to use of radioactive ammunition rapidly started to lose weight, physically decay and expectorate blood. For example, cases of Bosnian Serb children whose nails, skin and hair started to fall off shortly after the “humanitarian bombing” are reported. I am horrified of the brutal consequences of the „humanitarian bombing“, and I express my solidarity with its victims, who lost their own or their beloved ones life or health due to use of depleted uranium 238 in Serbia and today BiH.
